- The internet's own chess teacher has had some pretty incredible wins online against some of the world's strongest Super Grandmasters.
Here are 3 of Levy Rozman's Best Wins in Online Blitz:
00:00 - Hikaru Nakamura
02:49 - Hans Niemann
07:08 - Alireza Firouzja
Thanks for watching!

Barely nobody remembers when he beat Hikaru, not even himself
Probably not, since he has made a video about it
I mean, I figure most ppl know this clip. I have seen it a long time ago.
It's not like it didn't make waves.
He mentions it in his Google interview
Kinda cringe if you go around bragging about a single blitz game even if it is Hikaru
@@gusryan Why? Are you telling me that is not a tell of Skill?
How many ppl would ever win a Blitz Game vs Hikaru? Even given a hundred trys (which levy didn't have)?
Kinda cringe to downplay the achievement of someone else for absolutely no reason.
And btw where did he even "brag" ? At this point I am just confused what you are talking anout
how hilarious is it that the game vs Hans and the game vs Alireza are the same opening for a good number of moves. Levy likes this Caro position
well thats partf of the reason he wins because they are arrogant and knowingly play „his“ opening and also overestimate themselves
@fghpowa1578
Arrogant feels like a pretty negative way to say that.
Grandmasters, too, like have a little fun.
@@fghpowa1578 it's not even a bad opening though, how "arrogant" could it be?
if it was like bongcloud maybe
@@torch-eh7tiHans literally called himself arrogant as that game was going on
@@charadr33murr You got me.
Why has that guy got to be so weird?!
The contrast between Hans and Levy's reactions to the matchup was so funny, Hans is stressed out the entire time about the audience of tens of thousands of people who are going to see the game and Levy's just like "...what about Rh2?" until he finds out who he was playing
if levy was playing a 2000 he would also be stressed. it hard knowing you lost to someone several hundred elo worse than you
The craziest one is definitely the game against Firouzja, it was against all odds. Definitely the toughest game. Plus, we all love horse conventions
Where can I find that game....like is it on Gotham Games or something...?
@@bigpro3090 Yep! It's titled "Levy Beats Alireza Firouzja"
Agreed, that was my favorite one too :)
"Horse convention" 😂😂😂😂
nobody is talking about how levy is 11-17 against firuja
To be fair that is in hyperbullet which is... definitely something
@@OpticIlluzhionStill. Not as bad as it could be
A lot of them when Ali was still a kid
Most of them when Ali was still. Mostly an IM
He beat him when Alireza was a baby in Hyperbullet probably
It's like Levy SNAPPED this year, he's literally going Godmode.
The horse convention 😂
😂😂
this was a horrible way to find out i'm older than alireza firouzja. good job gotham
His reaction to beating Alireza lol, bro is speechless at himself
This classical music makes it perfect
very soothing.
Is it AI Generated classical music?
What’s the music called
It's probably not AI since It's very cohesive with reocurring themes, which AI can struggle with.
@@torch-eh7ti I'm saying as a musician / composer, there were some odd sequences that didn't seem natural.
this is an old school gotham fan video, great work
The background music is delightful
Saw a video if the Hans game with both their perspectives, Hans was very focused on GothamChess, but Levy was focused on playing chess
Thank you, this is a very nice video! Great Background music, not too loud, also you show the full game which I really apreciate, as well as Gothams commentary 😊
Magnus you’re next!
Magnus has been real quiet since Levy started hiding opponents' names during games.
@@TightKnights he beated magnus once , magnus trolled and then got cooked, but it counts😁
@@user-ry6cz3vs6ghehe, that was an Aprils Fools joke by Levy. But maybe one day in the future, he might actually get one, you never know :)
@@user-ry6cz3vs6g You fell for it 😂
The funny thing is that Eric Rosen still has a positive score against Magnus, he beat him years ago in bullet titled arena and also chess960
The music is very delightful for the speechless scene. We all felt how happy was him with that
Wow this the best I've seen him play
All the work is paying off
Should've included the Dominguez game as well
I have seen a lot of people do chess content badly. Usually with wacky "extreme" editing and not even showing the whole board and distracting sounds and bad commentary, trying to trick you into thinking what you're watching is exciting even though you don't understand it fully. This is different, I can see the chess happening, the edits are tasteful, even the background music selection is great, and I usually hate music distracting from the game. Let the chess itself be the content we come to see.
Somehow you are actually adding something to the chess content. As a heavy skeptic of editing the footage at all, if someone is going to do it, I feel you're doing it right. I'm a tough critic. This is a rare thumbs up from me. You should see the sea of "radical way cool" chess content creators I have in my list of channels not to recommend to me anymore, it's a graveyard.
The fact that the twitch viewers were typing hi TH-cam tough😅
Loved the video but in the last game we needed to see more of what happened
Watch him beat Fabiano next
Levy is the people's champ
are there any other IMs with wins over super gms?
plenty of times in titled tuesdays by many IMs
Bruh
Rare in classical time controls. But happens often in bullet and blitz games.
Yoseph Taher and Renato Terry are really good at blitz
Obviously 🤦♂️
Is no one asking why Levy has turned into a super GM recently?
he's always had the chess skill just not the self confidence
Let's not get ahead of ourselves..he def has the potential but he isn't Super GM level@@lol-yz8fh
I think he has an extension that hides his opponent's profile during the match which is better in psychological terms
@@SenseiThathoshino?!
He needs the rating of 2800 in USCF or FIDE chess I think and 3 grandmaster norms
Secretly all those gm's are losing on purpose so levy will eventually become a gm
Isn’t Hikaru said Levy has skill for become a gm, but he lack confident?
Kramnik moment
do you know the music used in the video?
Never play the Caro-kann against Levy lol
anybody saying levy beating hikaru was just a hunch , it was not. levy knew that line way better than hikaru.
He beat Vidit once too
SHOW US THE ROOK SAC
Leavy beat Vidit too in a tt..
1:52 wtf happened glitch
Apparently my comment was deleted but before you changed the outro song the "full moon" one what was that one called? It sounded really good.
The music is AI generated
@@TightKnights That song before being edited was AI generated? It was fucking good (at least the sound of it) do you have the full song?
@@ThisIsThatOnePerson Yep. I have the audio. I can email it to you if you'd like.
@@TightKnights Just upload it no? Either way I want that song lmao
who tf edits these videos and speeds through the most important parts of each game
I try to include as many critical moments as possible, while keeping the video concise and entertaining. If you’d like to watch the games in their entirety, you can always look them up.
what is the background music's name?
I wish I had the exact name for you. It's an old audio I had saved titled "Baroque Concerto: Piano, Violin, und Flute". I'll update if I find the exact piece!
I can't identify it but it does sound similar to some of Luigi Boccherini's work. May want to check him out!
Commenting just in case there’s an update haha 😅
@@kotara3904same
@@TightKnights Hi, after a long time searching for this song I still can't find it, would you be so kind as to share your file somewhere on a drive or in some other way ? I really wish I could listen to it more.
Thanks in advance !
Bro you have so many views but no even 1 k sub shocked
The fact if you lose to levy rozman , you will be famous
Hans is considered a super GM now? 😂
In live ratings he's over 2700, and not for the first time, so yeah
And Hans had beat Magnus with the whole buzzing beads situation too
Hans is number 30 in the world
2700 players are super gms. You are stupid beyond redemption let me guess your rating is 400
bro he is in top 30 ig
고담 리얼 제2 전성기냐

Wow, Levy is quite the cringelord when he plays. Wow, everybody was right.
Hans is not a super gm lmao
