Sorry to hear that, not fun for anyone. Can you expound any on the 'how?' You said you already had the door opened and then it happened. Were you in the process of opening or closing it, or something else? Thanks and hopefully they warranty it for you.
Yeah not sure what happened , opened door once then went back in to start it few minutes later . got out ,than it stalled because that neutral switch ,went to go back in door handle was in my hand,. just happened so fast.
My F150 door molding stuck real good one time in cold weather. The weather striping came off the door and stayed stuck to the cab. Bought a rattle can of silicone and sprayed all the molding down, hasn't stuck since
Bought one, and I like the tractor too. I did not like the "Take the roof off" need to install a rear wiper and relay, (ended up pretty easy, but ahh, that's dumb) my aircleaner strap broke immediately in the cold when I tried to replace my battery. Wheels are thin and bend on the bead area, mine bent and didn't even sratch the paint...wierd soft metal rims. But overall so far my 4720 Cab HST is a 9.5 because now I blow snow in a t shirt, and that comfort alone with the power means I am going to use this tractor a lot, while my 4020 gets a rest. I will be watching my doors VERY carefully from now on. Thanks.
Yeah I find most part of my tractor well built , but then like the door definitely should be built better ,shifting it into low, medium or high I feel that could break easily . Thanks for watching
I have a 2017 CK2610 cab less. Had 2 issues that I fixed myself. The first was the front axle leaking right at the 4 bolts on the left side if you are sitting on it. There is an o-ring in there that needed replacing. The second was a leak on the 3 point lowering speed control valve. It was the o-ring there as well. Both were not that complicated and I did them myself. The dealer is 2 hours away.
thanks, i like it ,seems strong enough, just not happy about how easy the windows breaks, all i have done since buying is snow removal on my property so far .
Thanks for information, was it wicked cold up there ? I had a block heater installed when I bought Cindy her tractor There’s warm heat almost right away , warm heat not blistering hot Bought new Toyota pickup an wind shield snapped on it with only 1500 miles on it, was told that possibly it was stressed when it was installed but that’s beside the point We enjoy the kioti, only thing I wished we purchased turf tires instead of what came on it . It’s a great tractor an would purchase it again if we needed another I hope Kioti stands behind their product for you Thanks again Tad East Bridgewater
Just bad luck you had. I have a 2020 ck2610se cab and never had issues with freezing . The only thing I hate about the cab is the windows keeps on fogging. I tried anti fog and that didn't do a thing. I tried the vent recycle or fresh air and no help at all. I hope they waranty it for you. If you had insurance they would cover it.
Don’t know if they are or not going to cover for warranty yet I’m thinking not,we will see.yeah windows fog up a lot try the recycling air vent to didn’t help.
That’s an unfortunate expense. I doubt it will be covered by warranty. I had it happen to a Case skid steer door. No idea why it shattered but it did. I don’t think it is a Kioti thing nor is it a user error. Just happens
The hard part is, its only 2 months old and i don't think i can be any more careful. What I might do is trace the window when I get it and make a spare door out of plexi glass or something similar.
Silicone spray or PAM works good on seals! I would think being a couple months old the glass should be covered ….at least if you have insurance on the tractor
Sorry that happened. I won't lie. I think the kubota's are a far superior machine and worth every penny for the extra that they cost. But, I hope you enjoy what you have and it works out well for you. 😄
Makes sense not sure what happened there , tractor was delivered on flat bed , I’m guessing could be stone chip and door flex’s some could of shattered because of that , just a guess.
@@mynorthernfarm7324 , Totally possible. I'm ordering a 2620 with cab, and I'll make sure that I inspect all the glass when it's delivered. It makes me worry about the times that I will need to haul it around on the highways with my trailer.

@@mynorthernfarm7324 You're welcome. It could be a fluke thing with mine, but you never know and leaks are sometimes hard to find the source.
I'm actually shopping for the same tractor so this is good to know. Thanks for the video and best of luck with getting the replacement.

Yeah cold up here usually
this year been different this morning was -22 but Monday supposed to be 0 in afternoon
On my Massey 1742, I leave the door on the first part of the latch to keep the weatherstrip from freezing up. Hope it works out for you.
thanks good idea

Try using the air conditioner turned to full heat. It will eliminate the moisture like it does in the summer. Works like a champ in my JCB skidsteer.
@@sewerman911 never tought of that. Thankyou for the suggestion.

ill try the silicone spray thanks
If you do the silicon try soaking a rag with it and wipe it on. It gets all over everything if you spray it on.
So they need to put a frame around the glass to give it some support?
Yes they do, it’s a tractor shouldn’t make it that fragile might make something in future with fiber glass and little windows.
@@mynorthernfarm7324 Good feedback. I am looking at getting another Kioti and wanted the cab model.
Besides the glass, have you had any other issue with the motor and transmission?
No everything else is good
Only have 150 hrs on it so far.
How long have you owned it ? Will be interested to see if they cover it even if it's not under warranty.
Couple months
Did you buy that used? It may have been cracked behind the handle and you didn't notice.
No bought new ,20 year payment .
Went new because didn’t want any problems.
Hopefully, warranty will come through for ya!!
Hopefully
How much cheaper is the Kioti then a similar Kubota?
Kubota little more where I’m located

Piss poor design if they don’t warranty it I’d be trading it in on a Kubota the very next day !
Especially being a tractor shouldn’t be that fragile, meant for work.
