    Fun fact: where I live, consoles are seen as LUXURY items because they only do 1 thing: PLAY GAMES.
    Whereas PCs are literally everywhere.
    Sure not every PC is hi-spec, but they deliver fun and give people the ability to game,
    plus do your homework, and also you can do your work on it.
    People like devices that can give multiple capabilities, AND the option to upgrade if they want to game on it.
    To give a point, computer parts here from the lower to hi spec are in great demand.
    I see PC building businesses here through FB that literally pump out Gaming PCs almost everyday.

When the 3rd one started drifting a month after purchase I got rid of everything. The $240 spent on controllers alone could have upgraded my PC.

    in my 7 years of PC gaming and building my own rigs, PC's give me much more benefits over console. I helped others ascend to PCMR and it brings me joy. I helped a few people build their own rigs and I currently have 8 PC's built under my belt... maybe 9th one will happen in the future.

    When they try and push the "PCs are more expensive" argument when consoles actually cost the same amount as a mid-tier PC over its entire generation cycle... $60 a year to play online? That's $420 for 7 years on top of the $500~ you pay upfront for the console. If it wasn't for the Xbox Live subscription doubling backlash, Sony would certainly eventually have followed suit resulting in consoles in the long run costing considerably more.

    • @soheilaghalavand677
      @soheilaghalavand677 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      You forgot Consoles game cost.
      Which is now in just the USA is $70 but people forget that in other part of the world like Europe it's around $94 or even in Australia.
      And PC games are always getting discount but if you watch the consoles games they are always stay longer at the $50 or $60 or now even $70 price.
      And the pro version of consoles like PS4 pro are also add another price to the first one. And expensive controller and consoles backward compatibility is also another way so that companies like Sony with Playstation Now can squeeze you for every chance that they get to charge you for something. If you buy a game on PC during the PS3 or PS2 area and you want to play it now on your new PC you can do that without even paying a single dollar.
      And I never owned a console but from what I heard so far so many people said that they console for some reason broke and they bought another if is that true console is even worse than I thought.

He clearly LOVES Nintendo just by looking at his background, and I bet the price for all that stuff all would be just as expensive.... I never thought I say this, but I think he's a console peasant.

  • @Atomizer74
    @Atomizer74 3 ปีที่แล้ว +7

    PC gaming is cheaper, AND more expensive, it really depends what you want to do, and for the last time, stop including the price of the monitor in price comparisons with consoles, unless you also include the TV in the consoles price, which is pointless because you can use your PC on your TV or your console on your monitor.
    Right now my old PC is hooked up to its own monitor, which also has a Switch, NES mini and SNES mini hooked up to it, 4 devices hooked up to a single monitor, I certainly didn't have to buy 4 monitors for each device.(And they are all hooked up at once, no messing with cables to swap devices)
    You went with an RTX 2080 Super on a 1080p monitor, most games get 100+ FPS at that resolution, heck, even the RTX 2060 Super would get 100+ FPS in most games, maxed settings.
    Consoles, at least last gen, were usually around low/medium settings, and 30-60FPS, sometimes less, resolution also ranged from 640p to "checkerboard 4k", checkerboard 4k is a bit like nvidias DLSS, which is not full 4k...which the RTX series can all do to improve performance at any resolution, which I might add, my "100+ FPS" figures above, are based on not using DLSS.
    He could have saved a lot of money, since even in Cyberpunk 2077, the regular RTX 2060(not even the Super version) can get 74 FPS at 1080p, ultra(with DLSS), so unless you want to go above 1080p, or want more(like raytracing, for the few games that support it), even the base RTX 2060 is plenty for years to come, even against the PS5/XBSX.
    Edit: Just felt like adding, I have a GTX 1080 Ti, with a 4k 120Hz monitor, I built the PC in 2018, just before the RTX cards were first announced, my GPU was already 2 years old at the time, and despite me gaming in 4k, I am probably going to wait until the RTX 40 series before upgrading my GPU.(or whatever the AMD equivalent is, assuming they actually catch up in raytracing performance)

    11:25 the reason why he doesnt show any other information in there and why you see the driver version is because thats what it looks like when you open NVIDIA Geforce experience and clieck the settings button it shows all the same info under the "my rig" section in the top right corner. This only goes to show the man knows nothing about pc specs or gaming. for instance WHY would you spend money on a 2080 and get a 2700 not a 2700x a 2700.
    Anyone that knows anything about parts would know unless you are heavily editing videos, 3d modeling, coding or do any kind of heavy color correction/rendering workflow you dont need a 2080 because the main draw is RTX and every game with RTX runs like ass when you turn it on. Its a gimmick not a feature at this point in time and you'd get better frame rates with a 3600x paired with a 1660 super or a 6800xt

      Look up PC Part Picker and PCMR Reddit

    • @soheilaghalavand677
      @soheilaghalavand677 3 ปีที่แล้ว +4

      Look if you pick $500 price because of the PS5 and XSX it's not fair.
      Because you can't buy a next gen console for $500 the only way that you can buy one is that you pay around $1300 to the scalpers and this situation is the same in the PC market.
      The parts that are out there for 1 or 2 years or even more are should be much cheaper than they are right now.
      And by the time that everything goes back to normal and you could actually buy a console for $500 the latest hardware from Nvidia and AMD and Intel will flood the market and the prices of the previous parts will drop significantly.
      Then you could built a $500 PC that can absolutely destroy the next gen consoles.
      But if you want to built a $500 right now it could be a little bit more expensive but it would be infinitely better and you'll get a PC that can do pretty much anything that you want compare to the consoles that are mostly used for gaming and maybe watching Netflix.
      And if you search $500 pc build on TH-cam you'll get the result so easily and some of them are even have step by step guide so that you can build your own PC without paying for prebuilt.
      But if you want my advice go for a $800 range with RX 5600 xt build or if you can afford it RX 5700 xt that would last much better than a $500 one.
      Because if you magically get your hands on a PS5 for $500 and you buy 4 or 5 games it would be at same price as the $800 build. But on your PC the games are much cheaper, graphics and framerates are much better on PC, the online gaming is free, the accessories are much cheaper, you will have free backwards compatible and you have the option to play your games either with mouse and keyboard or with controller and you can sell your GPU and CPU 3 to 4 years down the line and add it a little money and upgrade your PC for another 3 to 4 years and you are still spend less money than you do on consoles and you'll have a full PC as well and there are still so much more benefit to the PC that I can tell you but with these things that I already said the PC worth ten times than Consoles.

    I accept that PC is objectively a better overall option, but I just personally will probably never end up switching to PC. Everything I’ve read and seen suggests that at same/similar prices, building your own rig is just way better than a pre-made rig, and I just have neither the time nor care to go through all the shopping for all the pieces and building my own rig. I also already get everything I need performance-wise from consoles, and graphics are one of the least important things for me, to the point where I deliberately ignore when people try to tell me I should get something because of graphics. Not to mention while I mainly play on Series X, I play a lot of games on the Switch that I can’t play on PC without a lot of hacking and modding, and I just don’t have time to do that for every single game I want to play both now and in the future. I get that a lot of people do, but I don’t. And I don’t need a PC for emulation either cause I can do that on my tablet and phone now thanks to Delta.
    Basically, I acknowledge that PC is better overall than console, but the advantages it offers just aren’t something that I need. I’d rather stick with the consoles if for no other reason than ease of use (especially since, again, I don’t care about graphics, I wanted to reiterate that because I’ve had people ignore me before and tell me to go to PC for graphics even though it’s not an issue for me).

    Explain to me the PC that you could build for $500 even not the $400 PS5 we wouldn't even talk about that but tell me the specs that you could build for $500 that can beat a PS5 or a series X for that matter since we're using the $500 price point. And don't forget you PC Master race guys don't use TVs for your monitors you use an actual monitor everybody has TVs naturally so you can't include that
