- It always amazes me how accomplishing smaller tasks add up to big results over time. This morning I work in my kitchen and come one step closer to getting my freezers/pantry in order. Inch by inch it's a cinch, by the mile it's a trial.
#threeriverchallenge
You have so many wonderful ideas and tips , I don’t know why you don’t have 500 thousand followers! Amazing ! Thank you ! 🌸🌹🌸
Can you give an updated kitchen/pantry tour! I know you did one a bit ago but would love to see an updated one! Absolutely love your channel and so happy you are back!
We would love to see more of your seed starting, greenhouse, garden adventures this year! Love your videos
Watching your videos is like eating a comfort food meal to me, thank you for putting in the work. 🥰
You are indeed, the QUEEN, of all cabinets!Thank you for all the inspiration today. I’ve always been into cooking and homemaking, but after 25 years and almost all of my children grown, I’ve slowed down quite a bit with creativity. You are a true gourmet! What I’ve learned from you is to get up and make use of all
that you have, and be efficient at it! We live on a ranchette in CA and grow a big garden. I’ve suffered from some chronic fatigue over the years, but you have motivated me to keep at it! I didn’t throw the basil out that was sitting in my fridge today (which probably would have happened), instead, I got up, made some pesto and marinated some chicken in it and had delicious bbq’d pesto chicken with some sides. Again, thank you!
Always love seeing what you are up to!
Those souped cubes are so awesome, aren’t they? I love making individual meals in them! So convienent ❤ also, I just have to say that I’m so happy you all got a new pup. I remember how heartbroken you were after the loss of your other but watching him on the kitchen with you made me smile. Pets bring such a warmth to the home that’s irreplaceable. ❤❤❤
I love those cubes. Those would be perfect for Billy and I. Empty nesters.
I loved this!!!! It's definitely classic you! I absolutely love the peeks into the kitchen and freezers. I love when you do the grocery price tallies. This was the type of video (plus the grocery store hauls) that made me love your channel so many years ago. ❤❤❤❤
Ps. I'm going to try to brine a brisket too.
Hopefully that catalog was a sneak peek of what we get to see you decide to put in the garden this year. 😅
No wonder you went to bed early - you've been busy, busy, busy! Can't wait for the pantry re-organization reveal, too! Also, a new seed catalog is like the gardner's version of the Sear's Wish Book in December.
Can't wait to see your pantry organization tips!
I’ve been watching your videos for years! I’ve really enjoyed your pantry challenge. I rewatch your pantry & freezer tour videos a lot for ideas!!! What’s your pups name, sorry if I’ve missed you mention that!?!
Your giant island with a sink is my fav part of your kitchen.
Here in UK Ireland pie made with beef is Cottage Pie. Pie made with lamb is Shepherds Pie
I'm so glad you're back on here. I really enjoy your pantry videos...also chicken videos, gardening videos and pond videos. Just saying ❤
I cannot wait to see how that brisket turned out!!
I loved this vlog style video with a bit of cleaning too. REALLY looking forward to the pantry organisation video!
I love this style of video! Thanks for sharing your kitchen with us!
If you add cream cheese to mashed potatoes they freeze beautifully.
I always put a piece of parchment paper between the meat and foil. The acid from the tomatoes and vinegar will eat the foil, I had holes in the foil the first time I made this. Even now if I'm wrapping up anything with tomato or any acid food I always put parchment first then foil.
LOVE baker creek seed catalogs
Shelby, I just love your videos especially how you package things for the freezer. I am in love with those containers that you use.Do you have a favorite place to purchase them. I also love your recipes. I simply cannot wait to see how you redid your pantry. I have a large pantry and could use some ideas. It's always a good day when I watch one of your videos.
Freezer meals are a life & time saver!!! I absolutely adore them and I intend on making more of them for my family! Thanks for the awesome video and inspo Shelby-you rock!!!
Good to see you back on camera, It's a pleasure watching your videos ❤
I really want some of those super cubes going to look into them. That Shepherds pie your way looks so delicious. Very loved this video doing all the things!! That brisket well it is going to be crazy good. Cant wait for the outcome. hugs
Shelby, I am older than you but I just have to tell you, you remind me s o much of my mother. She burned her candle at both ends all the time. She accomplished so much in just a few hours. Sweetie take care of yourself. Some of us do not know how to slow down. Love your vids so much.❤❤
The Shepard's pie I grew up on was seasoned ground beef, corn and one can cream corn and mashed potatoes.
So glad to have you back! Amazing video!
I love these videos too even though I’m not cooking for a large family anymore. . My only question is around the constant amount of cooking and chasing after food that goes on in pantry videos. You buy food, store food, cook the food, frrrze food and it’s never ending. I cooked for large groups of people without half the amount of stored food. It’s still amazes me in these videos I love , just how much food is being consumed and stored all the time.
Where did you purchase the gallon storage mold container?
She shows them in her last video. And if you go to her description she has a link to her Amazon page where you will find them
Good morning. Shelby ,Ken and family. Gods know shelby I prayed for you and your family. God does answer prayers. Here you are sharing with us again. Praise the lord. Your such a sweet soul. I look forward watching everyone of your videos. I enjoy these kinda videos your everyday activies.pantry, Garden, going shopping, etc. Thank you again. Love shirley girl!from Washington state ❤️ 🌲👩🦳🙏
Hi Shelby, Ken and sweet family! I love having options in my freezer for quick meals. I have a variety that I can choose from and it’s just heat and eat. Your briskets I’m sure were delicious.
Thanks for sharing and have a blessed day!
❤❤❤ so grateful to the Lord for you and to you for sharing here. You inspire me so much. ❤❤❤
I really missed you and your once a year shopping.
WOW 🤩 that barbacoa brisket!!!
Shelby, Do you spell your name this way. You never cease to inspire me. I love this video showing how you got your kitchen clean before you cook. I think many of us do the same thing. I probably have the opposite issue that you have. You have a lot of people to feed and I just have myself. So when I cook a lot of times I have leftovers to freeze and I love these containers you’re showing and how are you vacuumSeal things. I’m going on to Amazon now to look for some of these things that you use. Thanks so much for these great videos. Love in Christ.
These are all wonderful tips and tricks. Do you have any suggestions for someone who works full-time and has kids?
Great video. Love the format. Thanks for sharing your day..
Such a neat isea. Making individual portions.
Delicious freezer meal ideas, love it! 😊❤
Ooh, I can’t wait to see the pantry!! Loved the video♥️
Ok, now I’m starving to death. Every single bit of that looked amazing. ❤️❤️
Lots of deliciousness on this video. Where did you buy those turquoise freezer items w the 2-
3 scoop square compartments? I haven’t found a list of your favorite or most used products. Do you have one somewhere on your page? Thx for sharing. Susan
You are really motivating me to get busy ......LOL
So nice seeing you back. I missed you
I would love to get links to some of the items you use. Love your videos!
I have 5 briskets in my freezer thank you once again for the inspiration Shelby
I really enjoyed the video
That brisket looked absolutely delicious as did the pork and chili verde burritos! Those are some of my favorite! I canned chili verde. So I can use that! I just need to can more!! Love your kitchen! A clean kitchen is so nice to cook in! I absolutely cannot cook in a messy kitchen or with dishes in the sink! Thanks for taking us along! Love those freezer meals! That’s a lot of work, but saves time in the long run! I think I may have to get that cookbook!
Your amazing. Love your channel.
You have a dog now! ❤
What’s the name?
Your food always looks delicious. We had ham & scalloped potatoes, green beans on the side last night. Tonight spaghetti with broccoli on the side. Along with a Costco haul today. Trying to get the daughter and grandkids stocked up.
You brighten my day 🤗🤗
Hey!!!!! I always remember you and look every so often for you! Your special! ❤
What vacuum sealer do you use? It looks compact. Its so nice to see you back making videos. Inspiring!
Can you show us your gardening sometimes
Do you still have a P.O. box for cards? If so, could you please list it? Thanks. Great video by the way.
Always a great video, thanks for your hard work
Shelby, I'm so happy to be seeing your video's again. I miss you so when you don't post. Praying for you.❤❤❤
So I love how you freeze the food. I am definitely going to do the same. But I noticed there are no dates on the bags. When you use those special bags does the food last a longer time.
Such a beautiful kitchen.
How are your bees? Where do you put them during the winter? Do they hibernate? Did you get much honey?💕😊
😅
You’re back!! Will you do a large grocery haul anytime soon? Those restocks were epic.
Dang girl that looks fabulous!!
That dog is no dummy: s/he knows that where Mom is, treats are also!
Love your ideas, Shelby! Thank you, as always!❤
Wanted to ask if you have a suggestion/recommendation for how to get strong odors (onions, garlic, spices, etc.) out of and off of silicone-type containers and utensils? I've tried washing with Dawn and soaking with baking soda, but it doesn't always work. Thank you! ❤️
You are a great cook! We recently started a youtube channel and you are an inspiration!
tell us again where you got the little square silicone things again. and the square crocks too!!!
Shepherds pie is traditionally made with lamb mince cooked in stock which you reduce. Put the lamb mince in your dish then a layer of mashed potato and pt in the oven to brown. Serve with green vegetables and carrots then put a generous amount of the thickened gravy over. Cottage pie is made the same way but with beef mince. Both wonderful on a cold, wintry day.
I love watching pantry challenge videos, but yours are the most unique. So many great ideas to plan ahead while using stored items. Awesome content !
What temperature did you cook the barbacoa at for 8 hours? I loved this video.
Good morning 🎉
I haven’t been on TH-cam in a while and I am SOO happy you are back! I know we all missed you so much ❤❤❤
Shepherd’s pie is traditionally made with lamb. The beef version is known as cottage pie
Loving the new format. I mean I liked the older videos as well, but seeing you grow in filming differently is awesome
Well organized spaces are so comforting, aren’t they? =)
I’m just curious why you don’t pressure can your broth/stock? (Thinking it would free up a lot of freezer space, and is often more convenient. )
What vacuum bags do you use? I purchased a batch that failed me and resulted in some freezer burn. Just a side note...that Baker Creek seed book can be dangerous...lol. Enjoy 😀
I really need to clean my kitchen
Shelby, could you share the brand of sealer you have ? Ty ❤❤❤❤
❓❓ Have you had any issue with your products leaking when thawing when using the gallon freezer mold????? Ive been using them for milk since i make kefir, and every single one has leaked when thawing.......
Any tips if yours do not leak?
curious. How many do you feed daily?
If memory serves me correctly, you have 4 boys. Are they all still at home?
What model Food Saver do you use?
I need a new one.
Where did you buy your freezer containers?
Hi this is Mary. Do you and Ken still do your zone cleaning?
It seems to be an american thing to find this confusing. Cottage pie = beef. Shepherds pie = lamb. You made cottage pie. Not shepherds pie. 🙄
Why does it matter? She can call it apple pie if she wants - it’s her channel 🙄
@@2Cunucumom You clearly think it matters given you’ve taken it upon yourself to reply to a comment not made to you and written over 2 weeks ago.
