Freezer Tour Post Pantry Challenge I Freezer Pizzas

- Basic Pizza Dough (makes 6 seven inch Individual pizzas)
2 cups warm water
1 tablespoon sugar
1 tablespoon dry yeast
3 tablespoons olive oil
5 cups flour
2 teaspoon kosher salt
Mix water, sugar and yeast together in mixing cup. Let sit five minutes; yeast will activate and become foamy. Put flour and salt in mixing bowl; add water mixture and mix with dough hook. Knead for five minutes after dough ball forms. Place dough in greased bowl; cover with plastic wrap and let rise until dough doubles.
Turn dough out on counter and roll out 6 seven inch individual pizza rounds.

Wow, two empty freezers!! That is so interesting to know you can re-use those 7" carboard rounds over and over. I love the way you portioned out certain things so that it's exactly the amount needed for a recipe. ♥ It's a always a bit of a treasure hunt when we inventory our freezers. I did mine today for the first time in 9 mo, and was pleasantly surprised to 'find' more beef than I remembered having, lol. Seeing your pre-made meals freezers is like looking in a grocery store freezer! 😋
Your organization is top notch. Ive shown so many of my family your videos. to be able to have homemade ready to eat meals so nicely stored must be a huge relief for you. thank you for the pizza dough recipe. Ive been wanting to make my own and now I'll give it a shot.

When you have a fully stocked pantry and storehouse you can slow down your way of living and take life at a different pace. I have been doing this for decades and it changes from year to year what you will be eating, and you will take that in consideration when re-stocking. It gets easier from year to year. Good job Lady!
I am just starting to buy bulk meat when the prices are good, we are eating so much better now :) my aim is to get a vacuum seal for soups and single meals etc

I found it interesting how you mentioned your lifestyle in CA vs where you are now because I live in SoCal and I WISH my family was as organized as you are and just fully prepped for four months like that. What a dream. You are so fortunate to have the amount of space and storage for all of that. SoCal struggles in that department lol but you are an inspiration and major goals. I started to put my groundbeef into a square container to shape the ground beef and pop them out and freezer wrap them, the squares are great! …so now i can fit way more!! Thank you for this great tip Shelby❤ Love all your videos!!!

I just organized my freezers. I put my beef in 2 freezers and pork in another. On the hunt for another for harvest time to store the frozen produce🥳 Now that we have a whole house generator, I feel more comfortable freezing now🥰

My grandparents had a farm in Oakdale. I have many happy memories in the Central Valley.
Great job! You’re giving me motivation. I’m doing a similar challenge for my Lenten discipline this year. After Easter, I plan to start doing the bulk of my shopping only one weekend of the month.
As to the seven freezers don't you also have a larger household? It's not just you and Ken. You've spoken of "the boys" so I'm sure nothing is going to waste. You are making wise use of everything. Love all the freezer meals/organization. Would you do a more in depth video of your index book system? I'm sure that could have multiple uses/applications. tfs

HEY GIRL Love the video. Freezer can make meals so much easier. I think I may have to get that freezer up container. I was wondering how your orchard was doing. You had so many wonderful trees planted. I totally get having so many freezers. I don't have any animals, but do get a half of beef every year and buy other meals on sale. I have a nice intown garden, a apple tree, cherry tree, grape vines. I'm thrilled to have 2 chest freezers and a standup, beside the reg kichen freezer. Looking forward to seeing your freezer prep.
