- Here is our Fall 2021 annual pantry, freezer, & household stock up. We live an hour and half from the nearest Sam's Club, that is a 3 hour round trip in good weather. Costco is even farther from our house. In rain. sleet or snow, travel time can double to each of these stores. Stocking up each fall saves us not only time but money as well. We only have one local grocery store and it is rather pricey and has only basic items. We cook most meals at home and rarely go out to eat in restaurants. We live in the country and have chickens, a garden, an orchard, berry bushes, grapes, maple trees, a pond stocked with trout and honey bees. We preserve much of the food we produce and buy basic items in bulk to save money. Hope you enjoy this years major haul. Shelby

We’re vegans and I’ve stocked a years worth of food. I must say, my stock up looks a lot different than yours, however I can totally appreciate how you shop. People don’t realize how much money you save and how convenient it is when you have everything you need in your home

Are the freezers and fridges eco friendly? And you should ensure your food should something go wrong like a power outage or appliance malfunction. Back up generator too. Do you use coupons? Work that dollar

same, and i'm single and live alone... i don't need to stock up like this...(though I am stocking up in my own way a "sick box"-cold meds, tissue, saltines, gatorade/ginger ale, pepto), TP, and basically items that are big & bulky(... I live in an area that snows and have a walk from my garage to my house... the less items i have to carry in during winter, the better.
Lady your freezers are my dream goal! Watching these kind of videos make me want to be a good wife, have 10 kids and a dog!

I'm jealous. Unfortunately my husband doesn't share the same enthusiasm as I do with stocking up. So I shop when he's at work and try and put it all away without him knowing.😆

I'd go online, find some of the crackers he likes, maybe order just one package to see if he likes the brand, then order more? This video is amazing to me. What a blessing to live in this abundance. I come from a background of extreme hunger. As a little kid, I'd sneak away to the store and eat grapes and bananas, not thinking of it as theft, but just as a kid thinking that there is no food at home, but there is food over there, so at age 5 I began going over there to find food. So this video is a dream come true.
If I saw you at the store as a littke kid eating any available food, I would have let you get a big selection of what you wanted and gotten it for you. Thanks for helping me be more attentive to little ones that might just be hungry.
I remember being hungry...It hurts me to see people hungry, and I do my best to feed all I can. I stock so no one I know. will be hungry if I can help it. So many elderly hungry too. God has Blessed me, and I have a conviction about feeding hungry people.
This story 😭 I may not live in abundance and luxury like this but I have a nice stockpile of formula for my baby, and my older two think having a kitchen full of pantry and freezer staples is a kitchen with no food. Which tells me they are used to having lots of good foods available to them when they need it.
when we were kids, we never ate snacks ,etcc. mainly ate food. I seen one of my dad's check after there passing, on his check, he only made $60.00 a week ( back in 1960 ).
Back then, it's a huge differences than it is now.

@@happyface9000 this isn't a hording food video. She does 1 LARGE grocery shop for an entire year for her family because they live over an hour away from town. She gardens and cans food. I do understand where you would feel that way based on what you see though.

When I saw the amount of artichoke hearts you purchased it occurred to me that I am 74 years old and I have NEVER tasted an artichoke. Am I living a deprived life? (Or perhaps DEPRAVED?) I loved watching that huge haul. I no longer go to the grocery store. I order my food online and it is delivered by Shipt so I must live vicariously through watching those of you who are a few decades younger than I am do your shopping. I also enjoyed your tour of your freezers and of your pantry. Thank you for taking the time to give those tours.

I’m 65 and neither have I ever tasted one. Never had them growing up in southern West Virginia in the 60’s and 70’s.

I just love how cute you and ken are. Your relationship is so sweet. You work together and that’s important. I too have been married since I was 18. Put myself thru medical school and my husband as well. We have sons too. We lost one last year at 22 from a brain bleed. Love your videos. So down to earth.
I’m the mom of three sons, one of whom died suddenly at 33 two years ago. My heart goes out to you🙏

Years ago my son and three of his friends were robbed at gunpoint. Two of his friends were shot and died at scene. My son was shot in the face but survived. I still after nearly twenty years get cold chills thinking about that night.

It is interesting to look at old grocery haul videos to see how much the costs have gone up over the last few years.
Jane so true. Ken and I were getting an oil change and were killing time in Walmart. We walked around and I almost fainted at the price of a pork butt….32.00 dollars. I was like what? I had paid 99 cents a pound when I stocked up, instead of four dollars a pound. I honestly don’t know how people are dealing with the increase prices.

I absolutely love watching you and Ken doing these annual hauls. We were stationed at Ft Drum for 6 years. These hauls are definitely necessary. Winter can be brutal. I made several friends that are so dear to me. They live in Albany, Watertown and Philadelphia. Great memories flood through me watching these. Hooray!!! It’s the Super Bowl of pantry stocking!! Abs yes…I would definitely love to see freezer storage videos!! I’d also love to see all the things you make to stock the freezers…like the butters, lemon juice, etc. Finally…I use that California Olive Ranch olive oil…I buy about 15 - 20 bottles at a time and then I only need to buy once or twice a year - but it’s really the best olive oil. Cheapest prices I’ve found for that olive oil are either wal Mart or World Market…both have excellent pricing and free shipping 👍

@@happyface9000 she’s shopping like this once a year. You are confused. At the beginning of the video she even mentioned she “shared the wealth” when she got a bunch of corn. Not once did I hear her say we should do this to keep food from others. $100/week that many families spend (easily) is about $5200 in a year. So how is this video a demonstration of greed? And please, study your Bible a bit more before using it as a weapon to criticize others. You become a poor witness, and cause others to feel justified in thinking how “judgmental” Christians are.

Great haul! I am making one last trip to Costco and Trader Joes and we will be fully stocked up to last through the Fall and Winter just doing weekly pickup for milk, eggs, etc.

I get my specialty cheeses from the Amish. They are really reasonably priced, and it’s so good! They really have a huge selection!
