Helpful tutorial, thank you. Any idea how to make a second cylinder and have the other end of the rope wrap around it? Like the ends of a rope bridge or two posts of a rope fence.
Hi, If I choose " fit curve", it won't be long enough. Just a bit on the start of the spiral. And I can't change the array count number anymore. Some help, please? Where do I make the wrong steps? I choose fit number, and then I can adjust the length of the rope and the thickness of it. Thanks
Another question, be sure to delete this if its too much of spam: When using knot curve to create a spirofit on a larger object it takes a big space between each curl. Is there a way to extend the amount of curls so that they are closer together?
Dude, when I click on object offset, every circle is bigger than the last one The one I created is the smallest, and as soon as I click on "empty" in objects offset, there are 3 additional circles that are bigger than the first one

That was really cool man.
How the hell did your image textures just plug themselves up with all those other node just by importing them????

I think you should choose the right axis because it depends on which axis you have chosen from the curve section. thanks for comments.
nice. so helpful

I had the same problem..it's probably because you scaled the Empty
you need to scale circle in edit mode
Go into object mode and make sure that you have applied the scale and all transforms. Then delete the array modifer and try it again - should work. :)
fantastic tutorial, well explained. Thanks.
Nice tutorial, but you you sped up at the rope's fur/hairs part so we didn't really get to see how to obtain that furry look.
Whenever I extrude it in edit mode I have to extrude the path a mile before the rope follows. How do I fix this
good job!
helpful tutorial
Glad to hear that, and thanks for your comment. :)
Interesting.... nice tutorial thanks ... good choice of music and right level too
Glad you liked it! and thanks for you comment. :)
nice..but I can't open the file when pressing ctrl shift t (blender 2.83)
for that, you have to enable the one add-on its called node wrangler, and thanks for your comment.😊
