I Found the Lightest Color Moonshine Sansevieria at Costco!

- Costco (Kansas City area) currently has sansevieria (snake plant) houseplants for sale. They are in 5 inch ceramic pots, 2 packs for $18.99. GREAT price! I’ve seen Moonshine Sansevieria in many local nurseries but the ones at Costco are the lightest color of Moonshine Sansevieria I’ve ever seen!

there's also one named "night owl" very light in color but with some striping/banding of green, very attractive plant...I found a "Moonshine" today very similar to your find and so stoked about it, I love the light greenish almost gray tone. More sunlight is a good idea though, I'm pretty sure they can tolerate it and will grow faster if exposed. I have some filtered west facing windows I placed mine. South exposure probably even better.

In our local market (food store) you can get them for 8€. But I did not take ti :/ I took S. Black coral and Black Dragon, because the light green is not my fav and I also heard that the S. Moonshine is aging not so well...but now I think I might need it, becasue near a Black coral it would look like jing-jang.
Remember they lose their light color if the lighting is too low!

Was just about to write the same thing... I put mine in direct sun... The new leafs are all light coloured
Some say it’s not the light amount, but that the leaves grow darker as they age, similar to the laurenti version of the snake plant? How true is that?
Very good info! So many people complain that the leaf color gets darker and don't understand why.

Nicole has a really good Costco...I don’t see these plants on mines (maybe I’m not looking thoroughly)
I love them but the white color starts turning darker when I put them in full sun maybe 🤔 bring inside 🤷♀️beautiful white when growing but then turns to dark green on me I want to keep the white color in them suggestions anyone?
would you be willing to split it up now and sell some? they no longer have them and just finding your video!!!!

Suzanne here, i absolutely love the moonshine, i have several, love them all, makes sure you remove that inner pot, and put rocks in the bottom about a 2 inch layer, for drainage, other wise, you will have rot, any time you use a cache pot, it needs rocks in the bottom,

They are beautiful and look very healthy not sure about the other comment of low light. There are different variations within this coloring and you have beautiful healthy-appearing ones. JMHO
Thank you so much! I put them by my south facing windows and I noticed the color is getting darker. I may try to move it back a little bit and see how the light affects the color.
