When I was on the hustling pool the movie 'The Color of Money' came out which was excellent timing and led to some funny situations.....and profitable as well!

The "color of money 2 " would be awesome ! Tom Cruz could be the stake horse for a new up n coming hot shot player .. who could play this staring role for this potential sequel???
what's interesting about the movies is when the Hustler came out so did the Cincinnati Kid and when the Color of Money came out about the same time Rounders came out. Just thought that was kind of cool. Both pool movies were excellent! Wish they would have made the Color of Money movie like the book.
That’s a big negative there. Color of money came out in 86. Rounders came out 12 yrs later The poker boom is what killed pool in StLouis. There was action on the poker tables 24/7. And no matching up
Awesome story. I’m 55 I like the Hustler better than the color of money. Pool Hall Junkie’s has some great lines but characters and story not as good in my opinion
I'm a natural at pool .. lived in every major city her in norway... Played pool in different pubs in different towns and I never had to pay for my drink... Some time lines
Same here bud. I would borrow 5 bucks from my dad which was enough to get the table, buy a beer for me and whoever I started playing. By the end of the night I never paid for a single drink, I had hotel money if I got lucky or just wanted to party on, enough money for all the vices back then. By morning I would give my father everything remaining except for 5 more dollars. I bought a small trailer with that money back then. I have so many wild stories because I live 100 miles wide open. When I tell the younger generation about them they swear I am a liar. I wouldn’t change those days for anything.
I think most pool movies are kind of ridiculous where people alike in The Color of Money doing the ninja moves with pool stick and just the other movies like poolhall junkies where the guy just like has is really bizarre attitude I've never seen people act that way in person and if I saw them I would think they were total douchebag
Sure wish someone would make another movie. The game is fading away in my neck of the woods. Would you send me an autograph anything. Problem a strange question but I am a huge fan, then and now. If not you still have a fan.
Tom Cruise is a not bad actor, not a great person. Color of Money & the Hustler were great movies. They the movies were entertainment. Hollyweird entertainment.🤥
