  • In this video I show you how to perform an antibody screen using the tube method. I would like to note that I use LISS in this video. If you plan on using PEG, do not spin and read your tubes after the 15 minute incubation but instead go straight to cell washing. You can note the presence or absence of hemolysis after the incubation but do not spin the specimen till it's been washed. Thank you for watching.

    plasma or Serum to detect antibodies? as plasma may miss a few antibodies with LISS

    So after the water bath, centrifuging, and resuspending, do you add saline to that to start the washing process or do you centrifuge again and then dump and start washing
