@@1badjane493 it's ok, you can call me jezzybell. That doesn't really affect me because I don't believe in your whole reasoning behind why the word is bad. I can be a slut and that's totally fine because unlike you, I actually enjoy freedom. And saying I'm going to burn? Wow! There truly is no hate like Christian love. @MarkDriscollMinistries This cant be 100%.
Christ himself did not marry. The spiritual conflict within a person is not resolved by merely maintaining a status quo. We do have to grow as men AND women, but it doesnt mean that the men who came before us, many or most of whom were motivated to do all of what you said through lust, greed, worldliness, shallow mindedness, and ego were altogetger right. Or else we'd have nothing to grow up to and away from...
If you follow Christ, his message is a spiritual one that did not directly involve any of what you are saying. I cant trust your message even if it is well intentioned.
This is not to say that what you are saying is wrong... but it is only one barren and lifeless side of the story.
We all know when we are walking in the Spirit and not weak in the flesh... spiritual freedom has always been gradually won like the story of Christ in the desert. In an odd way, rejection of stress and faith in the worldly things you demand, makes at least myself better at doing them... and better at doing them honestly/naturally. And i think this may be because any orderly thing i do in this world must be done in the Service of God and for the sake of heaven for all his Creation, and not primarily for me to be the "Best" or "Good" man.
I am Willing to believe that God Will Guide me if my Goal is Right... that I am dependent on God... if not then what are we even believing in?

    • @2c2bpolitics-ce-gate3-4
      @2c2bpolitics-ce-gate3-4 8 หลายเดือนก่อน

@@MotownModelsYes in seeing how Christians interact with people like you am i increasingly disillusioned. Certain messages seem to lead them to settle and feel comfortable in certain ways of being. The change we need begins as an internal one that it expresses itself to the outside... it cannot just a surface appearance doing of things on the outside. It just cant be and i refuse to believe it.
Edit: But i will say this as i am being fully transparent. My experience has shown me that what you are calling "freedom" is by far the exact opposite. The Christian message is still a beautiful and saving one from what i can gather, and just because individuals can spurn you while like me-- attempting to call themselves Christian or while attempting their best to properly interpret things (theyre only human); it doesnt mean that you have to select an opposite extreme as your solution away from them. If you were outside the flesh, would you truly direct it to do such frivolous things with inevitable internal consequences? If the answer is no, then did you ever truly exercise your own freedom when you chose those things? The sane question can apply to Mark Driscoll's message in fairness--i dont think God made billions of individuals to grow ideally in that one way he advises. Many have tried and many have failed as a result of even doing it.

ALL because these men were raised by their mothers WITHOUT a father. I was one of them. Born in 1980 coddled by my mother while my father was belittled and removed. I ended up a homeless alcoholic drug addict and by the grace of God finally grew up. I am now the father of 2 children and am doing everything I can with the help of Jesus Christ to take care of them and their mother. Someday I will rekindle the relationship with my mother when she is done hating men.

Nah, imo youre just hearing a nice monologue--a good man's opinion about how he wants society to be and what he thinks will save many. I THINK dissenting voices and comments are deleted here too and so you only receive this one man's well spoken opinion with very little apparent counter opinion(and they dont need to be combative or aggressive commebts to be deleted either). I say that he may be boiling down and distilling virtue to his own narrow path. And though I respect his point of view, peoples' experiences show that he clearly hasnt stumbled upon a panacea. The path he mentioned has not protected many people from spiritual or even earthly ruin. Those who are neither prepared nor compatible with it have made systems dysfunctional and dreadful. Those who are compatible with it often become bullies of those who they consider weak or those who God would have likely fulfilled had they simply gone a different route.
I assume that this mah's advice backfires often only because for many the motivation to act on this kind of advice is based on a belief and fear of the world rather than a Faith in one's own sufficiency and dependence in God. Im not saying that he is wrong at all, but maybe that the well-adjusted life he has won is not the goal, but rather the symptom of doing things right on the inside. If it is the goal before God... well that becomes idolatry and worship of the god of this world: Satan... doesnt it? Maybe im wrong, but i still want this side of the story to be considered.
I believe i had something more worthy to say on the matter and though i didnt even necessarily disagree with the sermon, my comment was promptly removed. I also assume this one will be removed too. All i have to ask you is did Jesus Himself do what was recommended here? In fact... did He Himself even recommend something like this for others to follow? And is He not the leading authority in that Book?

That is why it is called the Satanic Six, it is by design. Satan wants to completely destroy every pure and good thing. He revels in the pain, and the mental and spiritual destruction of humanity. As God has given us free will and we are sinful, then Satan uses that weak spot or spots to decemate us to thumb his nose and God and laugh. However, his time is even shorter now and he knows it. It will get worse. Prayer is protection.🌼

4 and a half years ago I was drunk unemployable and a terrible father. To the point I had my kids taken away from me. Around that time I decided to get Sober. Fast forward to today I have primary custody of those kids, I have had a child since then and am also a step father of 6. I got sober for myself (it's a selfish program that's the way it has to be) but I'd be lying if a lot of that wasn't also for my children. I am not a perfect man I still fall short, I still have to pray for forgiveness and guidance, but the reward of being a present and caring father is immeasurable.

Lol. Yeah blaming men for women being lesbians. Sorry, 80% of women think they DESERVE the top 10% of men. Modern women are raging narcissists and have destroyed their ability to pair with their promiscuity by the time they graduate college.
With the cash and prizes award system the feminist courts set up, women file 80% of divorces. 90%, if they have a degree. It's a suicide pact for even the most alpha of males.
Transgenderism and lesbianism is a direct result of the feminist movent. By reversing the gender roles for decades that is of course going to manifest in a very literal and physical sense where women will think they're men and men will think they're women.

So proud of all all my kids, but in the context of this video, my boys. My older son (26) "launched" maybe a little earlier than we expected. He hasn't been other than a visitor at "home" since his freshman year of college- worked in another state all college summers, then went full time there when he graduated. When the pandemic measures caused him to be laid off, he did "gig" work and then found a job in his field 2 states from where he was. Now he is married and doing very well. My younger son (18) does welding school 1/2 the day and works the other half. Lately, we have been talking to him about saving so he can buy a house by about 21. Good young men are out there. I see it in many of my community's sons as well.

I was literally trying to tell a non-christian why I agree that women shouldn't have authority over men in the church. He obviously didn't get it, thinks God makes no sense, but I said to him....where are men going to learn to be men? From their absent father? Their gay teacher? Their female preacher? They need strong male figures who can show them what it means to lead, and to provide and protect those they love. Sadly, toxic and abusive men have tarnished what a real man should be like, and we now praise men who wear wigs and dresses on social media. But the bible says he should be sacrificial, and love his wife like Jesus loves the church. Women have so much power and intelligence that it's so easy for us to take over everything....but is this world really what any of us wanted? Having to work 3 full time jobs (cleaning, cooking, raising kids, and a career)? Then we get told we nag too much cause we expect our husbands to get to our level and help out more, but this in turn hurts their ego and they don't even want to try anymore. They have a second mother who puts them down instead of a wife who encourages them. Since I was in high school a decade ago, as much of an independent tomboy as I was, when I read the bible and made sense of God's design for the family, it was beautiful, and I would happily let my man lead and provide, while I support him and take care of the household. We get less Eve, Delilah, and Sarah scenerios this way imo 😅 God clearly preferred men to do his work and spread the message, kings, priests, judges, disciples, apostles, etc. That doesn't mean women are useless, they have their moments in the bible, but why do we have to compete? Women say they want to be equals, but ask most of us...we don't want to work in sewers, we don't want to be putting up power lines after a storm, we dont want to fight in the military. Yes, some do, but in general, its just not in us. Having children and taking care of ones home or their community is amazing work, but sadly it's not appreciated since it doesn't bring in the money. That's just what our society has done to us :/ Millennials like me don't want to get married cause there is really no benefit. You get a sexual roommate instead of a faithful partner. And the world is too expensive and messed up to even consider kids 🤷🏾‍♀️

  • @RyGuyDCL
    @RyGuyDCL ปีที่แล้ว +9

If we handed this generation the economic opportunity of 50 years ago where a guy could have a full time job and provide for his family with kids and get a nice pension and retire around 60 years old I strongly believe we would see the youngest generation launch much more successfully than we see now. We can't hand the youngest generation the economic mess of the past 20 years and expect them to have comparable results to previous generations. I say that as someone who finished college in 2001 and got out and got started in life in just the nick of time. I'm so glad my generation had a better launching pad than the current generation.

Fix the men and fix everything else? In most of your categories I would agree. But in regards to men not getting married, that’s because majority of women are not worth marrying today. Women in the US initiate 70% of all divorce, they are choosing to break apart the family the two individuals started together in the first place. Not to mention 40-50% of marriages fail today anyway.
Women also becoming lesbians because there aren’t good men is also pretty ridiculous to say. Women are choosing to participate in that lust all on their own.
This is the type of preaching we need, but I’m not sure Pastor Mark can relate to these defeated young men as much as he thinks he does. None the less, no other church leaders and officials are even batting an eye at this crisis so I respect that a lot. I hope this continues to get attention, and I do appreciate your content Pastor Mark.

We don't need to marry to be godly. We don't need to sacrifice ourselves to an ungodly world. And we are finally starting to realize that and the world hates us for it. Even the church is berating us for it. Sorry, but we're done. Besides, "it is good for them to stay unmarried ...."

I agree with the family values being promoted in this video. But,
promoting being a "successful member of society (in a financial sense)," "launching businesses," etc... in a world the Bible tells us is run by satan, is not good Christian advice.
One of the worst things you can do, as a Christian man, is "get yourself two jobs." That is promoting mammon worship. The Bible specifically tells us you cannot worship money & God.
One of the worst things you can be is a blind order-follower (the kind of jobs he's telling young men to seek), where you're doing whatever you're told regardless of what is right.
You absolutely do NOT need to turn yourself into an NPC like this to get a wife, start a family, etc. It's simply not necessary.
    Matthew 6:25-34
25 “Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more than food, and the body more than clothes? 26 Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they? 27 Can any one of you by worrying add a single hour to your life[a]?
28 “And why do you worry about clothes? See how the flowers of the field grow. They do not labor or spin. 29 Yet I tell you that not even Solomon in all his splendor was dressed like one of these. 30 If that is how God clothes the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the fire, will he not much more clothe you-you of little faith? 31 So do not worry, saying, ‘What shall we eat?’ or ‘What shall we drink?’ or ‘What shall we wear?’ 32 For the pagans run after all these things, and your heavenly Father knows that you need them. 33 But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well. 34 Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own

Don’t grow weary in doing good, Pastor. Us as men cannot tolerate or compromise. We cannot be dominated.

I totally enjoy listening to your logic. Another reason men aren't marrying is because many of today's Western Women are raised with the attitudes that they don't need men for happiness or anything else.

I'm supposed to find some needle in haystack 40yo woman. When there's a ton of pretty submissive fit young girls who would love to follow. This cant be 100%.
Christ himself did not marry. The spiritual conflict within a person is not resolved by merely maintaining a status quo. We do have to grow as men AND women, but it doesnt mean that the men who came before us, who were motivated to do all of what you said through lust, greed, worldliness, shallow mindedness, and ego were all right. Or else we'd have nothing to grow up to...
If you follow Christ, his message is a spiritual one that did not directly involve any of what this pastor is saying. I dont trust him.
It is not to say that what he is saying is wrong... but it is only one barren and lifeless side of the story.

Ben Carson was raised without a father but by a solidly Christian mom. Pastor EV Hill was raised by a Christian mom with no father. There are thousands of examples of godly women who raised strong men of God. God compensates for women who are abandoned by men if they remain faithful to Him. There are women who hate men but most of those have been damaged by men. The Lord is a Father to the fatherless. His word says so. Its not a “bitter woman” problem. Its a “not knowing Jesus intimately as a parent” problem.

Much of the fatherlessness is due to the courts taking children away from the fathers for no good reason. A mother will lie in court and do her best to alienate the children from their father. It's an epidemic.

Hey man, as a young, single guy, I feel some of that as well, but hopefully this will be encouraging to you too: read the first few verses of Jeremiah 29. Jeremiah is writing to the Israelites in Babylonian captivity. Although not a one to one comparison with what we see in Revelation, I’m sure their world felt dark and hopeless too. Nevertheless, God tells them to build houses, plant gardens, get married and have kids. He even tells them to “seek the welfare of the city (of their captors).” Don’t let the dark overpower the light in your life. If you have the desire to be a father, I’d say that’s God-given and to pursue it! Children are a blessing from the Lord.
Also if I might add, no man knows the hour (Matt 24). I feel like we could see these things come to pass in my lifetime, but I can’t be sure. It could happen tomorrow or a thousand years from now; our commands to walk in the light and be a light are the same.
If the contents of revelation don’t unfold quickly, we’re gonna need to build godly homes and train up the next generation of believers. If you think God’s given you a heart for this, I guarantee He’ll be with you through it all. God bless, brother!

@jenniferwyatt8945 Let me rephrase. If God decides to bless me with a child, I would be overjoyed. If it happens, it happens. His will be done. I will not personally go out of my way to seek a woman who wants children. I have faith that if He wants me to find one, I will. As for the world always being a hard place? You're right. I never said it hadn't. All I stated was that it is getting worse. Anything else you need clarification on?
