It brings new meaning to “Hit the Road Jack!” Unlike general freight, here at Clark Transfer, we are usually traveling right into the downtown areas of major cities, or to a stadium or arena venue for the big music tours. The biggest perk for me is seeing some magnificent theatres, downtown cities, and having downtime to sight see and explore. The not-so-glamorous side of my day is keeping the trailer ready to go for the tech crews. It is my responsibility to have all the pads, load bars and straps neatly folded and put up, sweep the trailer and make sure it’s clean. We use Clark Transfer trailers and as owner operators we do not have to pay for the trailer in any way (some companies charge you a lease fee). We also get a tremendous fuel discount on the fuel program. We get a quarterly bonus of $2500! That’s EVERY quarter, all year long, every year that we’re with Clark!
