19:52 Is that why Part 8 took so long? your patience and dedication is unbelievable, I would've burned the sucker again If it was me 🤣🤣 When the going gets tough, I get going 🤣🤣
This guy keeps getting better and better…attention to detail and persistence for the best possible job is second to non for bike rebuilds online 👌🏼…absolutely love the hex lighting as well bro 💪🏼
I am really happy to see you taking care of the garage. You need to built the floor, paint the walls and put some tools on it and only the hexagon lights on the ceiling. 🤘
Cam chain must be tight between crank and exhaust cam when installing, the tensioner will take up slack on inlet side, install cams as per manual. Have fun😊
timing these italians are tricky, if its not tuning it like a guitar, its making you do it 500 times until you get it right. i cannot wait for this to be finished and see it in its full Carbon Fiber Glory!
@@CJMediaOfficial you built your dad a sick stinger, I’m sure he’s fine with parking it outside 😂 now you just gotta build something for your mom to make her happy😂
I’m witness to the determination it took to get them at timing just right brother! 😆 that took some patience. Great job on these videos! Keep them coming
Don't know if someone has mentioned it already but toss that thermostat for what they cost. Secondly pull the starter and stator/alternator and check the windings for damage. It looks like they may have gotten pretty hot in the fire and may have burnt the lacquer insulation on those windings. Better to check now rather than later. Best of luck with the rest of the build. Be basically a new bike when your done.
its an excellent idea sir, but it would be alot of work to move everything out and store it all for a couple days HAHA, thats all thats holding me back
Check again with the manual about the timing . While you are at TDC probably you have to have the cam dots facing out . Not every time crank dot is aligned you are at tdc you could also be at lowest point
also, the number of chain pins must be counted between the cam marks, this is why CJ kept missing the mark.. by one tooth. Once the pin count is correct, he should've cable tied the chain to the the sprockets BEFORE fitting the cam journal caps, also leaving the tensioner out, and installing the tensioner AFTER checking for correct timing. I've time many 4 cyl bike engines using this method, never had to go thru what CJ just did lol.
can I just say re the many failed cam/valve timing attempts CJ just made. . . . the number of cam chain pins must be counted (stated in the manual) between the cam marks, this is why CJ kept missing the mark.. by one tooth. Once the pin count is correct, he should've cable tied the chain to the the sprockets BEFORE fitting the cam journal caps, then torque down the caps, also leaving the tensioner out, and installing the tensioner AFTER checking for correct timing I've timed many 4 cyl bike engines using this method, never had to go thru what CJ just did lol.
One thing you neglected to check CJ, is the valve clearances!!! Why didn't you check them to be sure they are in spec? (or not?) Assuming they are in spec is not the way to go my friend! Also check the stator is not shorted, using a multi meter on the yellow phase wires, checking they are not shorted to ground ( possibly melted insulation on the windings, due to intense heat from the fire).
Like the hexagon roof light shape, but their light output seem inferior to the already installed led light. And beside this, the kelvin temp is way to high. Shouldnt be more that 2700k. Nice progression, huuuuuge task of bringing this bike back in shape, and by far not the easiest to get part for... Keep up the good work!
Hi CJ, awsome job as usual. I did not get was was going wrong with the procedure you had to repeat. What made the difference to you finally get it right? Awsome led light, pretty cool! Cheers mate!
Thank you sir! The proceedure was complicated , I needed to keep rotating the cam gears to get them perfectly in sync with the crank shaft. Its complicated even typing lol
men! when i try to do the same procedure to my bike y pass trough this same exercise, TDC wasnt aligned with the thoots.....after many trys finally aligned all that thing.....I learned a lot doing it on my own.
hi, friend. I always watch your videos. I have only one recommendation when you loosen the camshaft covers, be careful, loosen everything at the same time because otherwise it can break since the valves are exerting force. It's a pleasure to greet you and it has excellent content. thanks
Thank you for the dopamine. Was going through withdrawls from the lack of Nürburgring. Im obsessed with this bike!
Super agree we need more videos CJ!
I agree with you on that.
Thank you for the dopamine. Was going through withdrawls from the lack of Nürburgring. Im obsessed with this bike!
If you get the Floor epoxy coated with White Flakes, the Garage will look absolutely gorgeous!
with orange flake? or blue flake? or khaki flake?

Patients is a Virtue!!!
Here it comes, brother.
You are doing a really good job for it being your first time. Very methodical and taking your time to think it through. Good job.
I don't think I would wish engine timing on my worst enemy, what a job!
Man, setting that timing looked painful as hell. Well done CJ, coming along nicely!
Originally that bike looked hopeless.Thank God you are a man of faith.Keep up the great work.🙏
Ripple smooth rebuild
Missed this build! For the reservoir bracket, I believe you can bend them then mount them in the bolt locking the MC to the handlebar.
The MV's project looks now on wheels... A workshop full of tools like yours would be my dream. Keep it up 💪🏻

Welcome back, you were missed.
So Awesome to see Phoenix Brutale being rebuilt and to live a Few more years to Come
FINALLY!!! A new video, thank you CJ! You should epoxy your garage floor, it will look amazing for your shop.

Proper garage workshop with those lights! ❤❤ Love ur work CJ! Cheers from Greece
CJ i get so excited when you open the new packages. 😊
You and me both 😁😁

The attention to detail is insane, no one would have ever got this bike back to where it is now. At least no one I know 🤷♂️
I lived that cam timing struggle on a Honda V65 engine years ago. Paint pens work for those types of jobs as well! Great job !
Welcome back, CJ. I absolutely love the MV built. Fantastic series. Keep it up!
You have some mad skills. It makes me want to buy a junked bike and try my luck.
I wait to watch the clip every day.❤❤❤
I love how the whole garage is yours even in the winter. 😂
🤣 I should really let my parents park inside with all the snow

Bro i love your videos. I believe if you paint the ceiling black it would look gorgeous with those lights and hide the cables too
Thanks for showing the right direction, on tyre. 😄😄 Keep it up. 👍👍
Of course 😁 I get comments all the time because I think the tyre rotation is different for different countries
I Admire Your Patience. It's what makes you so good. Great Videos.
Looking sick bro!
Another great episode man
Best episode ever
Nice work and welcome back CJ! Mi piace la Brutale, mammamia...😄😁. Ciao, Flavio, Sweden
I have wailting for this video, that's the best bike CJ!
I need a Facebook account. Can you create one for me, please?
Love where you're headed on this bike. Let's get your garage floor epoxied and make some bonus footage out of that project too!
its an excellent idea sir, but it would be alot of work to move everything out and store it all for a couple days HAHA, thats all thats holding me back
20:35 next time just mark the chains and sprocket with a bit of white paint. The hassle of tighting everything again is painfull, i've been there too.
Imagine the money he spent😂😂❤

Very nice work 👍👍👍👍👍😃❤❤❤
Welcome 2024 from indonesia 🇲🇨🇲🇨🇲🇨
This finished bike will need a glass case around it, in your living room to be drooled over daily.

The first episode I've seen . How'd the bike burn n looks like you're doing a great job bringing it back
This is not a rebuild, it’s a new build from the ground up with a used engine
You are a mare patient man than i am bud. I wouldnt have had the will to keep pulling that timimg system apart that many times in one night.
finally new video
