    Great info.
Can we get a detailed video of how to build your dwc system

Is that a 3d-printed enclosure for the PAR meter?
Kudos to you brother, it seems that no one else on TH-cam has managed to point out this OBVIOUS FACT that experienced hobbyists all know. There's so much bad info on here.
Obviously, there is a REASON why PPFD sensors are so expensive, and you mentioned it in your video: the special filters and sensors neccesary for reading PPFD. These apps and cheap meters are all false advertising.
    Thank you!

yes, I computer drafted the design, built the electronics, and wrote the code, I spent a couple grand to get custom PPFD sensors with my NukeHeads brand made that interface with my designs. I like making stuff :). Thanks for watching my youtube channel be sure to join my facebook group facebook.com/groups/NukeHeads.Medical

      Awesome dude!
If I have any more questions about measuring light intensity I might swing your way to ask.

True app is wrong, but all sensors need to be at the same height. I bet it'd be closer to the Apogee.

Horseshoes anyone? If people just follow the recommendations, the manufacturer put in the manual they could get a more accurate reading or they wouldn’t need a reading at all. I believe the problem first growers have, they measure from the bottom of the tent, like they see all these TH-camrs doing. If they measure from the canopy up to the bottom of the light and follow the recommendations in the manual, they should be straight. If they use those lighting requirements, they should be able to calibrate their own app. Give or take 10%. manufacturers may fudge the numbers a little bit, but they would get a more horrible reputation if they had numbers so bad that they started damaging plants.

I agree.. this is why most lights are way more power than required. The canopy measurement is what's important for PPFD. In my grow light deisgn videos where I computer design lights then build them I test with my PPFD meter and my spectroradiometer at the base of the tent to shoe PPFD output at distance but that doesn't mean that's what the canopy needs. The canopies needs and light height must always maintain the proper distance. However I do like reducing PPFD at the canopy to around 600 in late bloom to not overwork the girls.
