    I made this today and it tasted great! I added some black pepper and increased the amount of mustard just slightly. I really recommend it! So quick and easy to make.

    Just made these! First time doing a egg mayo sandwich and it’s so delicious! Used honey mustard instead of English mustard!

      I gede pandu Ariawangsa milk is too thin so it might make it watery, maybe use half a tspn of milk instead of a whole tspn.

    This egg sandwiches are a common thing in our country. Interesting that it's famous in 7-11 Japan. I used to dislike this when I was younger because I don't like mayonnaise even up to now lol. We rarely cook this in our house but it's just mayo and boiled egg. Last time I tasted it was really years ago haha. The only difference is the kewpie which tastes so much better than regular mayonnaise. I might make this since I have a lot of mayo on my refrigerator lol.

    omg i tried this and it was SO GOOD! i've always dreamed of having a 7-11 egg sandwich from Japan. no idea what it tastes like, but this recipe is very good nonetheless. i did reduce the salt by half because i liked it a bit sweeter. awesome recipe!

    Beautiful. I mean the video not the recipe, even tho it was good. But the quality of the sound was quite relaxing , somewhat of an asmr. It was like watching an anime cooking amv. For a long night raging at the club, this 19 yr old aussie that's currently still drunk, I may now be able to sleep.

      Kewpie Mayo is actually really easy to find. I got mine at a little Asian convenience mart down the street from ny house. Maybe try your Asian market!

      One other snack I miss is this green tea 🍵 brownie cake bar with a little chocolate dipped on the bottom. They were heaven and I've never had them since 😭 would you make one?!

    I boiled eggs for 10 minutes before, but the yellow eggs was way too overcooked. should I just do 5 minutes or is that too raw ಠ_ಠ

      as this recipe calls for hard boiled eggs, my large eggs took that long but if your eggs are smaller it might require less time :)

      ParzivalTheEggHunter Hi! I used cream that you will usually used to make whip cream with. In Australia it’s called Thickened Cream or Pure Cream depending on which brand you use and the ingredients but both would work. It should have a fat content of around 35-36%. =) Hope this helps!

      u can use it for bread crumbs and other food recipes such as bread crust swirl french toast :) even eaten on it's own after being cut off to avoid wasting it. just because it's cut off doesn't mean it's automatically thrown out

      吴艺晶 if you add the egg filling to the bread, I would suggest that ideally eating it within 1 day and store it in the fridge if possible. But if you have not assembled the sandwich, the filling will last a couple of days in the fridge in a bowl covered. :)

      from Google:
      Regular mayonnaise uses whole eggs and white vinegar whereas Kewpie uses only egg yolks and rice or apple cider vinegar.

      Ritu Choudhary :( I usually find it in Asian groceries that sell Japanese produce. Unfortunately kewpie mayonnaise is a key part of the recipe as non Kew Pie mayonnaise just doesn’t produce the same end result and flavour 😕

      Sarah Liu hi, sorry to hear that. Did you end up using kewpie mayo? Also, was it kosher/sea salt or table salt? Table salt tends to be extremely salty so you do have to adjust accordingly. 🙂

      Kudo it’s full/pure cream or you can used thickened cream. Essentially anything with a 35-40% fat content is good. ☺️ It adds a nice mouthfeel without diluting the egg mixture.

    Umm, i don't quite agree. If you made eggs ramen style, then use the runny yolk into the mayo, you wouldn't need the cream. Plus the colour would be exceptional.
