Thanks for the great video! I always appreciate seeing packing videos that are not just suitcases filled with tank tops, crop tops, bike shorts, leggings, and bikinis. You have a great packing method and a huge selection of clothes for just 2 weeks. I hope you had a great time! I just did a test pack for a 10 day trip to Norway in a July lightweight expandable. SAS limits the carry on to 8 kg, so a lightweight bag was key. An extra pair of shoes, light weight merino and silk clothes, some solid toiletries, a tiny white noise maker, and my winter coat (we’ll be above the arctic circle) and it only weighed 5.9 kg! I packed with my clothes rolled into big ziplock bags to keep everything organized. Along with a very small backpack as a personal item and I’m ready to go!

Hi , thank you for your comment . I saw the bento bag and love it but I don’t own it . I want to buy it but with the custom charges it would have been really expensive and did not want to get v3 from Amazon as I think I like v4 better . So waiting for it to be on Amazon and will get it .

I know , right ?! I am really Happy with the July carry on light expandable but it is quite small. I was now looking at the heys Airlite that Lauren just did a video on .
oh, i'll have to look at that. I was thinking level 8 as 2 other travel youtubers I follow use that brand. i need to rewatch the Kelly's reviews of suitcases before i purchase it for x-mas. i did like your video as it helps w/info in what to look for.@@cressidaonthego
Thank you for your reviews. I want the july trunk. They just opened a pop up shop here in NYC and i loved that I finally got to touch and move the luggage. Currently not in my price range but I couldn't leave the store without something i bought the small everyday Tote in natural. Haven't used it yet. I am thinknof getting the Calpak terra 26L backpack. I just saw your review. Do you think its still worth buying? Enjoy seeing the 🌎.
I love my Terra backpack . The only thing I would advice is not to get it in a light colour like I did . Although you can wipe it , the straps have mesh and if that gets dirty you can’t wipe it . But overall is a very good backpack . I did not travel with it this time around as I wanted to try the Beis duffel
Had to leave a whole case of clothes when left after a year almost as had to buy v warm winter things as was snow etc and in hostel things didnt dry quickly. Itvwould ge easier if summer only. I dont ever want to use check in again after bag lost..
The winter packing with carry on only is more difficult indeed . But I did it before so is not impossible .
I once trácele to Thailand with a big checked bag and someone had to carry it on their shoulders from the boat ( on the beach) to the hotel. And that is when I decided never to travel with a checked bag. If I can’t carry it is not coming :)

I am a bit OCD when it comes to packing , but you can do it as well it’s easy 😅
Wow, that fit a lot of clothes for a small lightweight bag. I was impressed. Wondering how you like traveling with it, so please update sometime if you can. I follow the Kelly's too. I was debating between July regular vs the expandable light. I might go with this expandable light after watching your packing. Really once it is expanded it's 40L vs the regular which is 42L not a huge difference and this one probably would be better on travel where bags have massive weight limits like Japan/Ecuador. Hello , thank you for your comment . I actually loved traveling with it . It was small where you don’t draw attention to it . I have another video on my channel comparing it to samsonite proxis and heys Airlite. And I actually do a packing demo wheee I transfer the things from one bag to the other . That can give you an idea of how much each fits.
With regards to the July carry on expandable it a beauty in my opinion. I checked it on the way back from DR and arrived with very few scratches . I also dropped from top of the stairs and it was still ok. So tbh I really recommend it . Can’t speak for the original carry on so ….
I contacted customer service as the stitch from one of the zippers came a bit undone . The bag was still usable but just wanted to see what they would say and they have actually sent a replacement. So their customer service is amazing .
I traveled with samsonite proxis and from the first use ( not checked) gathered a lot os scratches and dents ( you can check it in my video) . When I contacted customer service they said it was normal wear and tear . Now I am nervous using it as it scratches so easily .
I also need to add that this is a very light bag compared to other carry on bags so for me was a plus .

Thank you for more detailed info. I went ahead and ordered the light expandable with express shipping because my daughter leaves in a week. The weight limit is 35 lbs for ALL carry on including personal items for Ecuador so this was a no brainer after I saw your packing job. She wanted the purple (which surprised me because she loves green...LOL) I'll update you on how she thought it went with this bag because she is going on a working research trip with her professor so they have hiking boots, snorkel gear, work gloves, notebooks, etc. Thanks for your more detailed information can't wait until this arrives now.@@cressidaonthego

You have beautiful travel items! The July carry on is very nice!Would you say you prefer the beis duffel or the terra duffel? What carry on suitcase did you use before the July?🌸
Thank you 😊 the beis duffel and the terra are very different . Comfort wise terra backpack is more comfortable in my opinion. The beis duffel is good if you like duffel bags and want the option of a backpack on it . But I would not plan on carrying a lot in it as it gets really uncomfortable. The calpack terra is more of a backpack than a duffel . Also I think the calpak backpack is better quality . However I personally would not use the terra as a duffel.
I use 2 different suitcases before July the American tourister soundbox 55 cm and the samsonite proxis 55 cm . They all have the expandable option.

Thank you! I have the Luka duffel but have been looking at the Terra so this was helpful! I liked how you “file” the clothes on one side of the bag. I. I need to try that to see if it saves more room vs packing cubes. But I see what you mean that you can see
