didn't really like it. Heavy handed on symbolism and it wasnt scary, tense or creepy. The acting wasnt great, there wasnt any sense of desperation or urgency. You have these people who are trapped in the forest, some for months and all look like theyve been eating good. Once the reveal happened I checked out, I was still interested at what the Watchers was until that point, would have helped if they left it ambiguous as long as possible.

Not really weird. It's subjective. The takeaway is that the movie hinges on the final act working for you or not.
