They knew the fans wouldn't be impressed by getting the 1a dismantled, so they thought giving it alot of screentime would hopefully keep the fans satisfied
Thanks for sharing this. Now we can have a perfect way to tell each car apart. Hero 1 also has what appears to be a sagging center grille piece. Hero 2 also has a misalligned grille center piece, but on Hero 1 it's more like a moon blade shape, basically the same as It appeared when it was in poor shape at Sony's.
You forgot one of ecto-1-a's big tells is years ago someone stepped on the bumper and bent the top part of the number hero 2 doesn't have as extreme of a bend as hero 1
It’s true…but so does Hero 2 at times. Notice the bezel is missing on the close up on the bridge after trapping Muncher. It’s a detail I didn’t include in the video since it is on both cars.
I have the Blitzway 1/6 1984 ecto 1 but I am getting the Blitzway afterlife version as well and I wanted to customize it to be more movie accurate so it’s hard to pick which hero car to use as reference. I also wonder why on the hero one the rear right fairing over the wheel is off after the movie but it seems to be on during the movie
I feel so bad for ecto 1a

still sad about the Ecto 1A to be honest. just as great as the original.
Agreed I like the 1a better than the 1 personally
Thanks for making this video! Funny enough, my ecto came from the same barn as the gray 59. Crazy how they made those cars so quickly
Are we going to see that video about when you discovered that your caddy came from the same shead?
@@aussiefurbymogwaifan6621 perhaps on TikTok, hard to tell when I'll have the time to make it in the next few weeks!
Excellent work! Definitely worth watching! Helluva job man!! 👍👍
I appreciate it, thank you!

I also noticed that the hero 1 car has a missing trim around the passenger side headlights :)

Awesome video, my friend! Thanks for doing all that research! So cool!!!
Thank you sir!

Can You tell me the image source of the image at 1:15?
I think was from the extras video from the Afterlife Blu-ray.
Most likely the run through the field scene is all CGI
