- Went to visit Shizuoka Hobby Show. Its a annual event that exabits all kind of upcoming miniatures, dioramas and even RC cars. Hope I'm able to capture the atmosphere of the event, it was amazing!
Shot on Oneplus 10 Pro, using Motioncam App
Music by @khaim
Wonderful video: I liked the 'getting there' and 'going home' almost as much as the show.
Thanks allot! Yes, i tried to make the whole video feel like a journey
Riding a train in Japan seems to be a very pleasant experience. Trains clean and on schedule. I dare not compare them with our run down trains in Germany. A shame.
Thank you for sharing the experience, and for the time spent adding the comments/subtitles
You're very welcome! I'm glad you enjoyed the experience and found the comments/subtitles helpful. It's my pleasure to share these videos and provide additional information to enhance your viewing experience.

@@LionelLZJ I lived in Nagoya for two years and was oblivious that Tamiya was in nearby Shizuoka. Glad you are having such fun, especially with my hobby of younger years. This was, in a way, nostalgic for me.

The decotora models were very impressive, I think require a lot of skill and patience to create it. It's really fantastic work of art

I think so too! The dioramas are really next level!
Thank you for sharing. What a brilliant event.
I have made a purchase or several, from some of the companies that I had never heard of before.
You're welcome! I made few purchase for myself too. Aoshima model kit was a surprised for me. There their snap-kit is really beginner frendly

@@LionelLZJ So many models there I built as a teen -- and ones I dreamed of making.
Thank you for this video man

Great video. I want to watch Inglorious Basterds for some reason now 😅
IKR! what a great diorama, what a good movie too!
Good models
Yes they are!
Thank you for sharing. I began playing with Tamiya models when I was 16, until I was 24, maybe. I still have their 1:350 USS Enterprise model kit in the box in my father’s garage. It has been sitting there for almost 30’years! 😅 The show is like heaven to me.
Thank you for watching! I'm glad my video could bring a piece of the Shizuoka Hobby Show to you. Its amazing you still keep the USS Enterprise model kit, that is a very intricate model! Hope it's still it good condition😄
@@LionelLZJ I think it probably is. I also have the USS New Jersey kit sitting in a box. I built the USS Missouri. All 1:350.
Wow, both are big models even though 1:350 scales. I think it will take considerable time and effort to build them
Soon MotionCam will rule TH-cam. The best thing that happened to smartphone cameras since smartphones. Period.
I'm glad you're excited about MotionCam! I agree, it is bringing new possibilities to phone videography!
nice!
good choice of music aswell!
Thank you very much, glad you enjoyed it
Looks like a great show - thanks for sharing!

Just amazing . It could only happen in Japan ! best wishes from Wales .😍😍👍👍
Thank you very much! Yes I agree, Japan has many special events and interest. I'm sure Wales have their unique offerings too! Best wishes to Wales too !
Great video, great to see! PS: When in the end You wrote that Your Shinkansen was at 17:25, first I try to figure out what scale it is. :D Then I understood properly that was time. ;) Thank You for that video, all the best for You! ;)
Thank you, I'm glad you liked it! Haha, I can understand the confusion, the whole video is talking about models and suddently i mention about time XD
All the best to you too, your comment really made my day :)
Japan's railways system is so clean and neat. And how civilly people behave there. Almost as good as the NYC's subway.
Yes I agree! And with thier extensive lines and stations, it makes traveling more convenient!
8:07 Now that is just getting carried away😮😮 but if anyone needs real-scale movie 🎬 props, this hobbyist would be be one to see 👍👍
Indeed, the real Type 16 MCV showcased at the hobby show is an impressive sight! I was in awe too
Thank you I found some new kits!!!!
That's great to hear! I'm happy the video helped you to discover some new kits that caught your eye
Thanks bro !
No problem!
Wonderful, thanks
You're welcome!
Thank you for choosing this pleasant and chill music, it was a great pleasure to watch at marvel the all the fantastic and amazing things from the Model World! Thank you for providing us with this chance!
Thank you! I'm glad to be able to capture the atmosphere and for you to enjoy it!
Wow... What a great model exhibition with something for everyone. So much quality and detailed kits on show. Very well filmed and great soundtrack to compliment it. I have been lucky in that I've travelled widely around the world but never lucky enough to go to Japan. Thank you for sharing.
Thank you that means a lot! Yes I agree with you, there is something for eveyone. Maybe someday you have a chance to visit Japan, but for now I'm glad i could bring a snippet of Japan to your through this video 🙂
Yes I was about to compliment the choice of music also.
Thank you, I'm glad the music suits you!
Japan is the Holy Grail of hobbyists
Yes, I think so too! Their rich culture in craftsmanship and dedication to quality really align well with hobbyists
Great video!
Thanks!
i have that exact thunderbird 2 model from the intro... found it on ebay coming from an obscure town in northern japan. i think the guy that built the one in the video did a better job than i did because his panel lines and weathering are gorgeous... only the one in the tv show was never weathered so i didnt do mine. memories!
That's so awesome! I managed to spot few Thuderbird2 models selling at HobbyOff too (fantastic second-hand toy shop). It's really interesting how each person interprets their Thunderbird 2. I agree with you, its not same as the TV show but the weathering adds a personal touch to his models, it looks more realistic. Maybe one day you can showcase your Thunderbird 2 too!
damn this vid so chill in like every aspect
Thanks, appreciate your positive vibes!
Great video thanks for sharing !✌Canada✌
Thanks for watching all the way from Canada!
Awesome! Thanks for sharing!
You're welcome! I'm glad you liked it!
Beautiful workmanship and such fantastic detail, it did make me smile when the real tank outside came to life and lifted its turret, but when it initially moved side to side the crowd started the stereotypical oh! Sounds, I smiled at that moment. But what a fantastic event! If I had plenty of money I would have loved to be able to go there, thank you for sharing this amazing opportunity with us. arigatou gozaimasu
Otsukaresama
Yes! when the turrent move and the crowds go ohhh, it really was a fun moment. I'm glad I was able to capture the moment, and for you to notice it!
OMG!!!
Cool 👍
Thank you!
I’m going tomorrow from Sapporo .
i hope you will have a great time in Sapporo!
Thank you sensei, for this chilling insight into this awesome expo! +1 subbR :D

Shiz u oka is super
Shizuoka is indeed super!

🎈🎈👍👍😁😁👏
I used to live in Shizuoka, but found out about the existence of this show a week after it had happened :/ I was due to leave before the show the next year :(
SO much natsukashii watching this video. So glad you posted this :D
Natsukashii indeed! I can imagine how nostalgic it must be for you, especially having lived in Shizuoka and missing the show by just a week! I'm sorry to hear that, but I'm glad this video brought back those cherished memories for you.
this was a great watch, thank you!
You're very welcome! I'm thrilled that you had a great time watching the video!
Man.. I wish to come. From Indonesia 🇮🇩 want to show people, my Knight Templar resin figure.
That sounds amazing! Hopefully one day you will get the chance!
I love the Evangelion models, i need them
Me too! The details are just next level
@@LionelLZJ but I have to Import them from Japan, you can't get them in Germany 😔
Oh no, that is really unfortunate
I want to know how they clear coated that chrome Shelby Cobra!
IKR, the chrome is very immaculate!
It's sad JR Propo went under! IMHO they made the best servos & radio controllers. 😓
I didn't know that's, that's unfortunate
An amazing show. But I had to mute the audio on your video as the music was very annoying.
No problem! That's the beauty of the mute button - it lets you enjoy the visuals without any distractions. I'm glad you could still enjoy the video!
8:07 is that a Patria AMV?
It is a Type 16 MCV
4:18 😮 is the car available to buy and if it is where can I find it
I'm not entirely certain, but I believe it might be available online. I hope you're able to find it! It's realy a nice model
Hi i want to know do you shoot 4k or lower res? And how many storage did it use for all of this clip?
Hi, I'm shooting in 4K but raw format. So I think the storage is around 1.2 Tb
@@LionelLZJ thats a lot of storage used😂
@@justsomerandompeople4353 haha it is 🤣
@@LionelLZJ prolly carrying a fast ssd to move and free up storage timely 🥲
You can also connect the SSD to your phone, and by setting the RAW Video Storage Folder in MotionCam to the SSD directory, any recordings you make will be directly stored on the SSD.
In the event that you disconnect the SSD, the recorded RAW Videos will revert to being saved on the phone.
How to come to Japan? I like to have a job in Japan and in the future do some business in Japan.
küster!
Bro, did you shoot it in RAW mode?
Yes, i shoot it in RAW mode
@@LionelLZJ What about the file sizes? How much space did it take to make a 15 min video?) Thanks in advance
@@alex_tybin I didn't count exactly, but i think its around 1.2 Tb . But after develop into video format its around 4 Gb
love your video content, but the lighting too dark .
Thank you glad you like it! Yeah it is a bit, but i try to improve it in my future videos!
Podrian orientarme como comprar desde México y que la paqueteria no sea DHL, y se puede comprar desde Amazon México, deseo una buena informacion como comprar desde México rapido y facil. gracias un cordial y afectuoso saludo.
What's not said here is that gaijin (that's you) can navigate through Japan's transport and entertainment pretty easily since (1) pictograms are used extensively (even on menus, yum) and (2) a lot of Japanese people have helpful levels of English. Go!
I agree with you, Japan has good pictograms and their transpotation is top notch! It helps too if you have a basic understanding of Japanese, it just makes the whole experience so much enjoyable!
Does anyone make dekotora model kits ?
I think Aoshima is doing it
The music i found annoying !!! I'd rather hear the actual sounds from real life. The music i found frustrating because it was repeated over and over. Yes nice visuals but sadly poor sound. Hearing people reacting and capturing the actual vibes far outweighs the chill elevator music repeating over and over and over and over and over again 😂🤣 LoL 😆
Thanks for the feedback, @Rob1970s! I hear you on the music. I'm still pretty new and experimenting with different stuff, like music choices. I appreciate you taking the time to watch and comment! I'm learning with every video, so hopefully, you'll enjoy my newer stuff even more. 😊"
How much was that lunch in terms of dollars, if you don't mind? Also, where's all the graffiti tags on those train cars?
I don't remember exactly think it's around 12 dollars? I'm not sure about the graffiti tags on those cars too, sorry
The. Music with the clicking is sooo annoying I caoukd not watch the video!
That's unfortunate, maybe you can mute the video while watching, that would hopefully reduce the annoyance 🙂
Great barracuda boat,Conan boy of future
I really hope you guys learn how to use correct English, spelling and sentence structure one of these days!
Great video!
Thank you! I'm glad you liked!
