@@bonbonscalemodel Hello. If I did not know any better, I would have assumed that you were Akihiro Kamimura -- one of the world's best 1/43 scale builders! 😁
I have been building models for over 50 years but your craftmanship is outstanding. I am absolutely impressed! Congratulations for building such a beautiful model, specially in that tiny 1:43 scale and thanks for sharing the video.
I’m a modeler and I am humbled! This is a demonstration that THE TOOLS make all the difference. Of course the knowledge of how to use them is the biggest factor and YOU KNOW HOW TO USE THEM! The vacuforming of the headlight covers really did me in!
Even more than the tools, the ingenuity and the way he used them to make custom pieces was brilliant. Making doubles and not wasting material was great as well.
The tools are important, and good knowledge of them, of course. However the real difference is the practical expertise and skill in tool application. This is no newbie to the art of scale modelling, that much is clear.
I've tinkered and and messed around with all kinds of stuff in my 58 years but I wanted to to take a moment to say thanks. Several times I was laughing out loud in astonishment and glee as I watched you go above and beyond with this model. I enjoyed every minute, Thanks!
Thank you for enjoying my videos. I have been healed and learned a lot from the blogs and videos of the modelers. So now, with respect, I aim to make videos that will make people who don't have time or quit building models feel like they are building them, even if only a little. Thank you so much.

If anyone thinks they can just buy the tools and do this they are wrong. Excellence in several fields not withstanding extreme dexterity with obscured vision, fine art background, using precision instrumentation and even using methods that are unique to the user that could only have been developed over decades means that you would be slowing yourself down just trying to copy the methods displayed to achieve the same results. I became a subscriber the moment you masked on that gorgeous transparent orange over that burl pattern on the steering wheel ring, knowing that the dark grey would reduce the orange to a sexy glossy brown and those tiny imperfections with the drybrushing previously on it was just, wow.

Wow. I just cannot believe the attention to detail. At the start of the video I thought that maybe building models would be a nice hobby to get into, but with a benchmark this high? I would never get even near this level of perfection!
Interesting. First, let me say this, lovely work on the details and overall project is top draw. Well done. If you don't mind me saying this, when it comes to the panel lines, you use a cotton bud to clean up the black with some thinner. Good technique however, try a tooth pic. By getting the wood to soften little by getting it moist (water or thinner), it will allow for more control and accuracy when you clean up. Furthermore, if you fill the panel lines with black before you clear coat, once cleaned up, the clear coat seems to make the panel lines look thinner... tighter. Maybe worth a look. Again, brilliant work.
This is absurdly good. Beautiful model of beautiful car. Stunning. 1-43 is my scale too. I only buy factory built models, but I wish I had the skills and patience to achieve what you have done here from a kit build. Nice work. Requires a lot of patience, skill and tools. I use to build wooden model ship and would work on them after work in the evenings until I got married and wife demanded more attention then babies came along so most hobbies went to the wayside. Now I’m headed to retirement and babies are all grown and it’ll just be be and the wife. I’m digging in the storage boxes to see if any of my miniature tools are still around.
In Japan, it becomes a pleasant season around this time of year. Especially on rainy nights, I feel calm and motivated to make models.
Have a good hobby life.
What a tremendous and beautiful work you have done sir. The attention to details is mind blowing, no word to describe the amount of love you've put in that car. Congrats mate!!!
Not sure whether to be more impressed by the craft and finish of the car, or the craft and finish of the tools you use!
I love your skillful work, pretty nice 👍
😊Thank you

Superb work. I did not know that BBR sold kits. I have several of their 18th diecast examples. -- a real pleasure watching this build video

Absolutely Mesmerizing.
I gotta go to work tomorrow but I can't stop watching!
I used to build models and while I was never very good at it, I knew that even at my best I couldn't do what the pros did. So I gave up. I just buy them already built.
