- Entering The Den are two business school graduates Jon Hulme and John Burke who after spending “a lot of time in gin and tonic bars in Spain”, had mixed business with pleasure to launch The Craft Gin Club. It's an alcohol-based subscription service that ships monthly boxes to your door. The two business school buddies are seeking an investment of £75,000 in return for a 3% equity stake.
An international sensation, Dragon's Den features entrepreneurs pitching for investment in the Den from our Dragons, five venture capitalists willing to invest their own money in exchange for equity.

@@mahirrahmananan7025 I think Touker's offer wasn't serious, guy claimed he doesn't like Gin and it gives him a headache, then he goes on and offers 35% and his trademark office space which no one seems to have occupied after several seasons. That was a weak offer, I think the Gin went straight too his head.

😆 They're both brilliant business people, of course. After his initial tantrum, Peter showed himself a total hypocrite. Deborah is actually my favourite Dragon - a fierce and hungry competitor. Just highly, highly unlikeable.

These investors work together every day on a TV show that sells drama. They know each one has their own specialty market. I'm 100% convinced that when the two are asking Sarah to drop to 10%, Deborah and Peter both made a show of being upset and dropping out to remove the leverage and let her keep the 12.5%. They'll get the same deal returned when an entrepreneur under their own specialty comes through. Neither one of them is actually "offended," it's just acting.

hahaha oh my god. She got it at 2.5% more than both Deborah and Peter. That had to sting for them. The company is a huge success.
They went out for that reason, they were always going to pick her, if they stayed in and got her down to 10 no one benefited other than the pitchers, the dragons helped eachother rather than help the pitcher.
Sometimes an investor is worth more than just the money they give. People take the piss out of Touker but that office space he offers to everyone is worth a lot of money in saved overheads. For this business, Sarah was simply the best option, even at 2.5% more.

Peter and Debra couldn't cope that they weren't their preferred dragon. It was very petty. They had made good offers but they have an assumption that they are perfect investors in all businesses and they aren't.
As a dragon you would do what you can to break up negotiations that are going on in the den claiming she is being alienated from the deal as she calls it , normally when she does this it draws the attention back to her and she makes the deal
They knew Sarah was going to win with her background instead of staying in and being used they went out and helped Sarah.
It wasn't petty, they were helping Jenny after she had already come down to 12.5% and got asked to drop down to 10%.

This is the first dragons den video ive seen where touker offers office spaces. I've seen so many comments about it lol.
I think part of the reason Debra and Peter declared themselves out was because they didn't want to be used as bargaining chips against Sarah's offer. Most of the dragons have business investments together and are likely friends outside of the show. Them declaring themselves out put Sarah in a stronger position for a better deal.
It's almost as though all the dragons had decided to let Sarah to the deal. Peter and Deborah bowed out while Touker just wasn't serious.

I love watching the British Dragons, its a extremely good case study of salesmanship, when they work as a team.
When Touker offered them office space, I was SHOCKED. I DiD nOt SeE tHaT cOmInG!
The dragos must have some sort of agreement where when the entrepreneur shows clear interest in a specific dragon or in this case talk to 1 of the 4 first the rest get all fussy and either drop out or say something about feeling alienated so that the dragon who is being talked to by the entrepreneurs can get the better deal by the others dropping out. If the others stayed in sarah does 10 but because they all decided nope im alienated the entrepreneurs just lost 66% of their dragons in 2 seconds and are pressured to just accept the 12.5.

I have noticed a pattern in Peter Jones. He likes to shakeup potential investments by aggressively attacking their projections to see how confident they are in themselves so in turn he can know how confident they are in achieving their projections. Brilliant

I honestly think it's a ritual of mine now to google the company pitching every time Dragon's Den uploads a video, lol. Just 6 months ago they reported having 60,000 subscribers to their Gin box and have mostly positive reviews throughout social media. So they are clearly still going strong.
