How motivated do you want me to be when I join your company? That settles it 🥁
This video was incredibly valuable and I really appreciate it 🙏🏾 There are so many useless videos on negotiation that don't show any roleplay. So, I really appreciate this to give me a good feel for the process. Thank you!!
Wao!! Here we have learned, that we can not negotiate the salary. HR wins at he end.
Absolutely. Just deny the offer outright and be assertive yet polite.
This was the worst salary negotiation I've ever seen
Why???
agree
😂😂
What would you have done differently? I am in similar situation. Please help sir
they lost me when she spoke of her retirement plan. not at all professional. I hope Upgrad can do better.
I'm Brazilian and I think your content is fantastic. I work with traffic management for social networks for companies and it has helped me scale further.
We are so glad to hear that! Stay tuned for more such content.
Hr don't talk this much.
It looks like a bit chitchat!!
They just say "that's out of our budget, if we can negotiate on this figure then only we can proceed further or else thanks you so much" Or "Okay, that's perfect come on 1/2/34 for doc. Verification. Welcome to the team"
exactly the hr sounded like this is the max we can do when i tried to negotiate more she says so you're not interested in this particular offer i didnt know what to say and accepted the offer.
Ruchi! You essentially need to spend some time learning the negotiation skill.
It is absolutely important to know the budget for this position and secondly the previous salary can't essentially be the foundation to formulate the salary in an aspiring company.
If my previous job is in Mujaffarnagar then what I will do with a 20% hike if the job location is in Mumbai.
Please do your home task.
Hey Guys, This was a very good example and this helped to prep for a negotiation, great work! Thanks a ton!❤
This is a good role play with real HR questions from India point of view
Your positive feedback means a lot, thank you for recognizing, stay tuned for more!
Should not accept the this salary if you think you are worth a higher salary...chuck this job and you get a lot better job in a product company
Never be this honest. I repeat never!
Who?? Hr or candidate??
@@dark_techyy candidate obviously.
@@hotelwhiskeydelta160 oky
Why HR wins always? She didn't get the hike as expected, so what is the benifit of watching this video?
The worst salary negotiation, not recommended for experienced professionals.
Successful wasted 7:25 minutes and seconds
Why would you ever disclose your current salary? That's insane! First, it is confidencial, it's just between you and your current company. Second, that basically means that you give all the negotiation power to the company you are interviewing with....
In India it is the norm. Just how it is. Kinda shameless.
@@Bharatyadav11 Can't you push back and say that you cannot disclose it?
@@TheEmperor000 nope, they will hire someone else. It's kind of the rules.
@@Bharatyadav11 That's crazy! Can't you just lie then and put like 20% on top of what you have?
@@TheEmperor000 you have to submit the payslips of last 3 months before you get the offer.
This call shows HR's negotiations skill not the candidate's. The worst tutorial. If anyone tried this, will end up getting LESS than what the HR initially planned.
Isn’t it hypocritical of hr not to give her the salary when she has the budget ? First she says there is no industry standard then uses that excuse that she can’t give her the salary which is justified, because she wishes to maintain a certain industry standard within the company so point being there is an industry standard and what candidate spoke was definitely fair. Rather than shutting her up, like a proper hr she could have decently negotiated or just told her own budget when the candidate asked what can they offer.
Can I get a copy of this conversation script...I guess this is the better way to negotiate with the salary
You can turn on CC (Closed Captions) to better understand. Thank you for your interest!
9 to 11 is definetly BIG NO, u should atleast get 13lpa(fixed)
This was not at all a learning video. Also, since the final decision of the Candidate was not included here, i as a candidate would like to include my decision after such and such interview happening to me would be .
1. If i don't have any offer, i would bite the bullet and get an offer here and go back to market to get another offer. - if i dont get any better offer than this, it would be better for me to continue in the same role than to change now, because, i would like my resume to show some decision making capacity.
2. If i have another offer. I would ask her to hire for the role internally, no thanks for wasting my time on 7 rounds of interview. Glassdoor review would be yuck on the company atleast for hiring.
really helpful conversation
Firstly there are lot of grammatical errors - while both are greeting.
How are you - reply should be I’m great✔️
✖️I’m good.
And salary negotiations- HR is not the one who is paying we should address what is the company cap or what company can pay, straight away how much you are up to✖️
Please look over the grammatical as well.
Thank you.
Great conversation
It never hppns like this and no HR would speak in such a bubble gum way.... They have many work to do re ... 60% hike mil hi jata h
I worked in a company with two salary hikes 😅
Worst negotiation ever.
Hehe😂
I saw people ask for 100% hike on current CTC
Should not accept this offer.
Be polite but assertive. Do your math and talk to the HR as though its the norm similar to what the HR did towards the end.
Some loop holes here... the HR spoke about the expectation in the job, in reality, those would have already been shared in the JD, so quoting it would help, in an unlikely event of the HR talking all these bla bla expectations!
20000 salary me watching this video discussing about 14lpa 😂😢😢
@@Mr_Mahe bhai slowly slowly 20lpa. Me jaoge
Honestly, very wrong approach from TA team here. That's not honestly how a TA should proceed. I know we might be focusing on candidate here but honestly its the other way.
Worst negotiation. It's the HR who won. 😂
Even HR having that much time to negotiation😮😂
That was Nightmarish as an employee.
Very helpful
Your feedback means a lot, thank you for watching!
12 pe close karlo, let hr retire at 6- yrs, we will early retire haha
Is it important to have an iphone for the HR and the candidate to negotiate the salary 🤣 ?
Rubbish 😅 HR has no work and doing gossiping here 😅 leave this not negotiation , this you are showing you are greedy 😂
This is not how this should work.
one of the worst salary negotiation i have ever seen. market standards are typically 30% on your current CTC for mid level employee . people do get 100-150% hikes too. If a hr negotiate your salary based on your current ctc then do not even joining in that organization as they are low balling you cause people can have lesser ctc in their old org and because of that they do tend to change their jobs.
Even a fresher negotiates better than this
HR-1 Rucchi-0
Firrreeeee them both
Very bad offer..she should get at least 12 to 12.5 plus variable
Please make me in hindi please
Sure, we'll consider making content in Hindi too in the future.
Itna ghatiya negotiation kisi ne na kia hoga kabhi..chii
20%😂
Epic 😂
This was so stupid..the worst negotiation video.and hello..where was the negotiation here duh!?
Nonsense
worst i have seen. really.
LoL this is drama
