    The channel strip plugin is a great thing to have! That’s something that Cubasis and Auria both have that Garageband and even Logic Pro doesn’t have per se. They do have the “smart controls”, but that’s a bit different and not always as useful. It’s nice to have the fx you’re basically going to use on almost every track (compression, eq, saturation, limiting, etc.) all in one convenient place, and might even save a bit on processing power since you’re not loading each effect separately.

    • @PeteJohnsMusic
      @PeteJohnsMusic  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yeah, it give you that “mixing desk” feel of being a little more hands on. I’m so used to not having it; it will be interesting to see if I embrace it or go back to individual plugins in GarageBand.

      Pete Johns yes. When I saw that this app was available for iOS. I thought about it for two months. But I was thinking to myself what if it doesn't work and I lose my money. And I was happy that finally it came out for iOS. And I decided to buy it. It was around the same time that I was messing with sound fonts.. Because some of the other apps were not working with sound fonts. But on the description. It shows that this app works with sound fonts. So that was before I found out that there are some apps that do work with garage band with sound fonts. So when I bought this app it was like $50. And at the moment that I opened it. Nothing was readable. I tried everything even on my other iPhones. Nothing. I was disappointed. So I called Apple so they can return my money back and they did. But I heard so many good things about this app but it doesn't mean that I would leave garage band. I want to try this App so bad some day. Sense Apple returned the $50. I cannot update this app even though I have it in my phone. But if one day the developer makes it compatible with voiceover. I will purchase this app again and all its plug-ins and sounds. I am that ready.
      It's going to be a whole new world to learn and explore. A new toy.
