Oh man, when I read in the description, that it was Probe delivering us this one, my reaction was like “of courseee, lmao.” This is definitely one of the most Probe-looking games I’ve seen, and that didn’t necessarily mean it had to be bad since Probe have done some good games (Home Alone on Master System comes to mind). Although I agree, that Jeron’s outstanding soundtrack is about this one’s only saving throw. It’s a shame, I guess not every license game can come out as good as Konami or Sunsoft’s efforts
What makes almost zero sense is that jetpack fuel has been depleted during gameplay, while in the end screen, they all are evacuating by jetpack. Or is it the bulding's explosion that blasted them off so high in the sky ?
The soundtrack to that game is mind blowing, with some of those tracks going on for upwards of 7 minutes and still evolve in new ways. It’s also crazy that the Virtual Boy version, of all things, managed to port that amazing music quite well, too. I even managed to have a decent time with what I played of it, just for the sake of hearing the music. The run and gun segments are not the worst, and the diving ones are completely easy but I was probably not playing them right, lol
I remember this we rented this RoboCop it was the closest thing to the arcade RoboCop that they ever had on NES when I think about it it was not really that great but it's all we had for the home consoles at that time so at moment it was awesome to us LOL
Тоже брал этого Ribocop в аренду в первый раз. У нас в России пираты назвали его RoboCop 4. Я тогда подумал: Значит есть и четвертый фильм, его надо найти.🤣
I heard that the game (NES version) has 3 hidden rooms (except the third stage), wherr you can get healing item, repair item and a weapon. But the fourth stage is the laboratory (to spend the last of the reapir points).
Yes, there is a hidden room in the first level. Its one of the doors on the second floor. I remember finding that as a kid and my mind was blown. Don't know about other levels though
Probe did a solid job with Alien 3 on the Genesis, and I will continue to defend that game until the day I die. This, however, I can't defend. If they had spent as much time on the game as they did the audio and visual presentation, this could have been a great game... unfortunately, it falls way too short.
I will admit that the repair/malfunction mechanics this game has could be interesting if the rest of the game wasn't so cut-corner. Having your character start acting erratically if they take too many hits is more interesting then just a plain old life bar, but it requires good controls and level design so you have the ability to avoid enemy fire, and this game definitely doesn't have that.
The game wasn't even 15mins long...?? I REMEMBER playing for ages and never beating the jetpack level... But that menu music always kept me coming back and trying again :`)
Considering that the Robocop 3 movie sat on the shelf 'til 1993 despite it being completed already, maybe the game should've done the same as well. At least TRY to fine tune it into a half-decent game.
This game looks like an absolute disappointment... And yeah, I also noticed that creep lil' girl with the Uzi at the title screen alongside Robocop. Word is, they're coming out with a new Robocop game... Hope it'll be better than this or that infamous Titus-made Robocop game!
@DougMPA: What Dorian Scott more or less said. Their video game adaptation of _The Addams Family Values_ on the Super NES and Gensis/Mega Drive was actually pretty good. To me, it felt like an archaic version of Konami's _Castlevania: Symphony of the Night_ .
This is still the best Robocop game on NES. The first one is meh and the 2nd one is ruined by that moving momentum a la Super Mario, but poorly implemented.
Ocean software went suck after 1990😢 i never understood why they change the direction on the official license games... Before 1990 Ocean's based on movie games were just mind blowing experiences ( Platoon, RoboCop 1 and 2 Commodore versions, Batman the movie, The untouchable and many others), after 1990 they start make awful nonsense platforms out of those licences... Too bad
Can we finally talk about the title screen ? Thats one cluster-crash of bad design . Why is Robocops gun so small ? Why is his hand that holds his gun just a mess of pixel-fingers ? Why does he have a girl/puppet on his shoulder that shoots with an uzi ? Where did he put his right on the girl? (Okay this has to ve a hand-puppet otherwise WTF? ) This is so wrong , it doesnt reflect anything from the third movie . Thats one hell of a bad title-screen.
I think the intention was that his hand was holding her back up so that she didn’t fall backwards, but this comment made me laugh my ass off, so it doesn’t matter lmao
I still think it’s a horrible edit job and Robocop is holding the other gun but they just stuck the image of that little girl in front of it all to cover some mistake.
_RoboCop 3_ was another NES game from my youth that I regretted playing until the age of emulation, save-state abuse, and unlimited cheating power with Game Genie codes. I expected much more from Probe, the same company that made great arcade conversions of _Terminator 2: Judgment Day_ and _Mortal Kombat_ on the Genesis/Mega Drive. However, with Ocean's name all over this piece of garbage, I should have known better at the age of 10 to 11. I have many complaints about this game, but G-- damn, did I want to rip this game a new a-hole for how the jetpack was used in the third level. Basically, if you run out jetpack fuel, you can't fly nor jump, which makes RoboCop a sitting duck that can't advance across platfoms. Maybe if Probe made the jetback mechanic easy to pic up on like how it was in _Mega Man 6_ , I probably would have enjoyed the game more. I'm also angry with this game knowing that it can be beaten in an estimated 20 minutes if you know what you're doing, using the difficulty to disguise the fact. Great video. As always, you made this game look much easier than it hardly is. Speaking of Ocean, I would recommend you guys look up the TH-camr known as Filmnstuff. He has a plethora of videos s---ting on Ocean games, and rightfully so and in hilarious fashions.
Remember playing the game. The music brought some nice memories.
This is why NES games were so tough. Getting good at the game was 90% of the time spent. The other 15 minutes is what you see here.
Depends on your playstyle. This one did it more like a speedun.
RoboCop 3 on the NES is about as good as the movie it was based on. Ouch.
That music though. It hits you like one of Robocop's bullets.
😮😮🤣🤣🤣🤣
If you want to see bad Robocop go watch the 4 part series Robocop prime directives.
Jeroen Tel's soundtracks are uniformly awesome, Probe was lucky to have him work on so many of their projects.
I prefer RoboCop 3 than RoboCop Prime Directives. ;b
That song sounded like the song of a news show
You give us three minutes, we'll give you the world.
@@NintendoComplete More like you give us three minutes, we'll give you a shitty game.
@@NintendoComplete 1010 WINS baby...
Music took me 30 years back...Amazing! Thank you...ahh the past wonderful times

LOL! The title screen with Robocop holding a girl on his shoulder carrying an uzi. Now that's wild.
Today's world is wild itself.
@@user-ui7iy4vk1e It is.

That intro music teleported me back
I remember playing this game it's brutal good video
A “Probe” production. A probe is never a good thing. We still love you Murphy.
Hahaha RoboCop: The Colonoscopy, The Game
@@NintendoComplete My thoughts exactly.
An incredible but hard game. You are amazing.
Playing this in the original Famicom was a freaking nightmare! Not like Batman Foverer on the SNES... But close.
Ahh, the music at the start.
Everything seemed so big and interesting to explore back then.
Damn, I wish I had an Ingram MAC 10 when I was that kid’s age
As questionable as this series was, in the end Robocop was made into a Space Sheriff and Japan praised him a hero
I like that old school arcade robcop3 1990 and nes game game robcop3 1992
13:46 it’s like he’s trying to setup dial-up internet connection 😂
intro is one of the best nes soundtracks ever, change my mind
What makes almost zero sense is that jetpack fuel has been depleted during gameplay, while in the end screen, they all are evacuating by jetpack. Or is it the bulding's explosion that blasted them off so high in the sky ?
Not sure if you've ever played it before, but I would love you to play the SNES Waterworld game, that game's soundtrack has no right to be amazing.
Ah, I totally forgot about that one. I've played it before, but never thought to record it. I just might have to now :)
The soundtrack to that game is mind blowing, with some of those tracks going on for upwards of 7 minutes and still evolve in new ways. @@NintendoComplete The gameplay probably isn't anything special, but I love it for its OST.
Batman(DK Returns):"Who are You behind the mask?"
Robocop:"My Friends call Me Murphy! You call Me Robocop!"

The music is better than this game deserves.
00:31 LMAO J.Bonar. Bonar 🤣
This actually looks pretty fun.
I'd buy that for a dollar.
I heard that the game (NES version) has 3 hidden rooms (except the third stage), wherr you can get healing item, repair item and a weapon. But the fourth stage is the laboratory (to spend the last of the reapir points).

The music is by Jeroen Tel, so you know it's good. :D
Did he compose MC Kids for NES? The music in this game kinda sounds like that one.
@@Dorian_Scott No, that was composed by Charles Deenen.
Both of em are ridiculously good Commodore 64 composers
I had this game when I was a child..... My best memories 😥😥😥😥
One of the hardest NES games I ever played.
Yeaaaaaaaaah
That's it Man !
Incredible game, kickass music.
Probe did a solid job with Alien 3 on the Genesis, and I will continue to defend that game until the day I die. This, however, I can't defend. Totally agree. I liked Alien 3 a lot, but this is trash.
I don't agree. As a person from a postsoviet county, I liked it.
This game was a guilty pleasure of mine, I did actually beat it back in the day, great music 👌
Did you know RoboCop was remade in 2014
Great job navigating this turd! They should've left the Robocop games to Data East. The 1st NES game is a masterpiece compared to the last 2.
I don’t remember Nikko carrying an Uzi…
I will admit that the repair/malfunction mechanics this game has could be interesting if the rest of the game wasn't so cut-corner. Less than 15 minutes of game? No wonder I could not remember it.
One more time a NES game that's better than the 16 bits versions
🙂Я когда эти звуки слышу и музон у меня олд скулы сводит
My game was bugged. The fuel in the backpack always depleted above the last gap before the tank doesn't matter how little you used it before
Considering that the Robocop 3 movie sat on the shelf 'til 1993 despite it being completed already, maybe the game should've done the same as well. At least TRY to fine tune it into a half-decent game.
Lo tuve cuando pequeño, me lo regaló mi padre, jugábamos juntos. 😢
Wait the game is that short? All these years I couldn’t get thru those small levels lol
The best robocop game we have. Waiting for Rogue City.
Nostalgia one of my favourite games after tokkyuu shirei Solbrain,😊❤
The Start button flashes ever so slightly slower than the song, it's kind of annoying lol
Robocop DOES what Mr Bean DON'T!!!
Commit mass murder on the streets of Detroit?
I've had a beef with RoboCop 3 on any console at the time because they didn't do the theme song
Best intro ever
The music is too good to be in a game like this
Nostalgic
Had this game as a kid. One of those games that were better to leave in the memory. The fun memories. Now we realize how bad the game was lmao
Seen this game for 79.99 at a collectors store. Mike Tyson punch out going for 59.99 and Mega Man for 119.99 😮
And since when Nikko knows how to use a machine gun? I thought she's best as computer hacking?
Blame the programmer who did that.
This game looks like an absolute disappointment...
And yeah, I also noticed that creep lil' girl with the Uzi at the title screen alongside Robocop.
Word is, they're coming out with a new Robocop game... Hope it'll be better than this or that infamous Titus-made Robocop game!
The game looks like it's a Eurocom title, as one of Eurocom founders, H. Binns, provided graphics.
I've been trying to kill the ninjas at the final stage for eons without avail. I now know the reason why.
I'd buy that for a dollar! No more though...
Brutal lol game devs didn't throw players many bones in this one.
What happened to Robocops arm lol
east side Detroit Chalmers blvd
I've played this game in the past, and I got stuck on the last level, it was like that to finish it. 😅🤣
The game playtime it takes to finish is getting shorter and shorter with the sequels. That's not good. There's 15 minutes of gameplay here.
I've heard that the 3rd movie was bad, but this... This is terrible.
But those graphics and that music though...👌
Has ocean ever made a good game?
Mr. Nutz was okay. Addams Family on SNES and Genesis was okay. But everything else is trash.
Ocean + Probe = completly shit game
