I was 18 years old when I went to this concert.
I am sitting on some guys shoulders to the right of the stage. You can see my bare back and my arms up in the air. He was pointing at me when he was singing this song.
    This was a magical day.
I still have my ticket stub.
    David Bowie still live on....

It's actually pretty common in music acts that are collaborative. Bowie was extremely collaborative in his music, even covering one of Luther Vandross' songs when he was a back up singer for him in New York the during the Young Americans sessions, full co-credit and everything. Most famously are his collaborations with Trent Reznor.

I wish I could take you back to experience the 80s. It was far from a 'perfect' decade; just the same today feels so fake, so controlled, so angry, and so, so unfree. I was 18 and watched every second of the concert. I wish you the very best of luck Millie, and so glad this kind of music touches you.

I did not know that, but I am sure that it added to Bowie's intensity. I know he sang "Heroes" for his son, but no doubt he was also thinking of his lost brother.
The other "performance" that I enjoyed was the collection of German artists who sang "Nakt im Wind" in the shadow of the Kolner Dom. It was a powerful, gritty, honest song! I compare it favourably in opposition to the American offering, "We are the World" which seemed typically American self-centred, whereas the German song made the point about desert conditions, starvation, and the world's uncaring attitude very openly!

Diana, Princess of Wales 💎, is alive! Yes, and it’s time the world begins to awaken to this Truth and so much more. Not only is our beloved Princess still with us, but so is John F. Kennedy, Jr., Carolyn Bessette Kennedy, and Lauren Bessette. There’s also a long list of celebrities and entrepreneurs including David Bowie, Elvis, Marilyn Monroe, Michael Jackson, Robin Williams, Steve Jobs, and Whitney Houston.
So, how does one account for something as unbelievable as this? Well, each person named above, and those whose names haven’t been revealed yet, have their own story, and soon you’ll be learning about it. However, in the meantime, here’s the short version. Each one of these people, at one point, entered into a worldwide witness protection program.
Wondering what these individuals needed protection from?
It’s something the likes of which the average man or woman has never been confronted with. Although it may sound funny, each one of us will eventually have a role in the “Big Picture,” too. What is it? We need to respectfully listen to their stories and begin to understand the “as yet, unrecognized threat” that humanity has been living amongst.
Bottom line is that we must give these brave people an opportunity to tell their stories and face head-on the Truths that we’ll be given in order to protect our families and ourselves now and forever more. Best way for us to complete our responsibility is to have unwavering faith in our Creator, God Eternal. My dad went to four David Bowie concerts, the last one in 2004 and he promised me that next time he’d take me with him (I was 7 years old). And then he stopped performing, and there never Were a next time. I was so upset when he died, and I get sad every time I hear this song because it reminds me that I never will have the chance to se him.. rest in peace my hero❤️

Amazing. Bowie singing one of his many iconic songs @ Live Aid.....one of the largest GLOBAL concerts , ever.. A VERY special & magical experience. Never to be replicated... I was so fortunate to see Bowie in concert in the 1980's in Houston , Texas with my friend Tahir .. We floated out of the venue after the show. We had been touched by someone special...
