Our newest Damage Hero is here and they’re ready to break new ground! Equipped with a Smart Excavator and a spunky personality, this spirited archeologist is ready to send shockwaves through the enemy team and emerge victorious.
Venture makes their official debut in Overwatch 2 Season 10 on April 16,, but you can try them out in their limited-time trial Mar 28 through Mar 31.
Overwatch 2 is free to play for everyone on console & PC!

0:44 I just noticed Venture's melee hits multiple times. I wonder if it's less damage per hit but multiple hits.
On Venture´s ability list it states that their quick-melee does more damage but someone who played them mentioned that it´s also slow. What you noticed could be correct and it only does the full higher damage as long as you stay in reach.
It took a long time but now we can finally have a team of all Overwatch 2 heroes
Venture is the 6th hero introduced in Overwatch 2. Having a full OW2 character team has been possible since Mauga's release.

The fact that the reveal trailer for a new hero has only got 1mil views should show that to you. I stopped playing a couple weeks ago, and I have just heard of this hero today... Overwatch has no effect on mainstream culture like it did in 2016. Mauga had over 2mil views on his reveal. How is that not a sign of decline?

Still don't understand why they intentionally gave this hero some jacked up teeth. Is this to imply Venture has been eating rocks?
I also think its apart of their "silhouette" design, where they make characters in game more recognizable so you know who you're shooting (EG: Roadhog being extremely round, Ana's posture, most healers being small)
Probably chipped a tooth during their excavations and adventuring. It shows they've been through a lot.
