My Mic sounds a bit off for the first 30 seconds for some unknown reason as it was all 1 track lol.
Viral damage should utterly destroy grineer, they are clones of clones of clones, in game they even talk about how dirty their genetics are, poor genome, poor imune system, equals high viral damage due to them having poor genetics. Never understood why viral didnt do this already. Viral in reality would decimate nearly all enemy types
slight correction: pablo stated that the new mod will prevent FIRE RATE increases, NOT disabling the full auto mode.
We just need a kuva stug with 33 in every stat that does gas and corrosive

DE be making me wet with the potential of these changes. I've been sick of the importance of armor strip for a fucking half decade, and de-emphasizing how necessary some statuses are is AWESOME.
gotta admit tho, I am a bit sad how Pablo said he's not touching Viral + heat. It's a great combo, but even with those new updates I wonder how big the impact will be if viral + heat is still as strong as ever

Gas is actually fine for what it is.
Gas can easily out-dps all other statuses as long as you have the ability to group enemies. It sucks for single target though.
I know gas is fine. It just felt like they teased us with that one. Anybody remember old gas? Its weird it doesnt bypass shields now

Something I really want: MORE ENEMIES onscreen at once! Like the long forgotten State of Emergency, or even the Dynasty Warrior games. Just fields, and rivers of enemies , ragdolling everywhere, hitting blown to bits, crawling on walls, and ceilings !
I want some of them to behave in tactical squads, trying to flank us, buff eaxhother, and taking to the air more often, dynamically using tje environment.

I been saying this for years but unfortunately we haven't gotten anything that interesting as of yet aside from maybw the murmur boss, to be fair tho the game needs a lot of balancing reigning in to make those enemies scale to actually matter in many cases cuz they could add a ton of mechanics and cool designs but if you just look at a guy with an AOE weapon and blow up everything in the room regardless of where the enemies are, on the ceiling or whatever they're gonna evaporate anyway
Unfortunately the imbalance of the game holds it back from being as mechanically interesting as it could be but they have and are making progress to fixing a lot of that especially with the new status changes and stuff so we'll see
Ceiling enemies would make sense for infested.
i feel like warframe would crash with that number of enemies interacting with all the particle effects, it'd be real fun though

Holy Shit! The changes with armor/shield/flesh weakness is a god send. I've been playing warframe on and off for about a decade and I've always found the type weaknesses a hassle. This is a change that will definitely get me back to the game!

DE really missed the opportunity naming the three jade weapons Love, Hope and Valour
Calling it now; Blast Status, when a Blast Status is caused it will cause radial damage proportional or equal to the damage that caused the Status as Blast damage.
Seeing how cold will work, I'd guess they will keep - accuracy and at max stacks it'll cause a new effect, maybe a radial knockdown or aoe damage as you just said.
I'm hoping we get something like biotic detonations from Mass Effect 2 and 3.

I think it would be cool for frames like Frost and Banshee to get some updated abilities to take advantage of these upcoming Cold and Blast changes. They mention in the Dev Workshop that "Weapons and Warframes that deal Cold will be updated to reflect this new behavior." so here's hoping.
Frosts ice wave might actually have a use now. Double crit spreader.
The skin damage simplification is good, but I think they would be making a mistake by making it too simple. I think for the grineer having 2 types instead of 1 would lead to more interesting play styles instead of a simple here's how to kill everything.

Out of everything that was shown, the only 2 things that caught my eye was the Kuva Sobek and the new Fire Rate Mod for Semi-Auto weapons. My sweet Veldt, Sybaris, and Grinlokk will finally get some more love!!!
Sybaris is a burst fire weapon, though. I don't know if the mod works for those too, but if it's semi-auto only, it won't work for Sybaris.
@@spamhere1123 that's kinda funny. During the DevStream, they brought up the Sybaris in order to talk about the new mod and changes to Semi-auto weapons. So either the Devs forgot the Sybaris is under the "burst fire" category, or the mod may be for both Semi-auto AND burst weapons
Was a good devstream. Lot to look forward to coming up, and I'm interested to see the armor/status changes and how those all play out (very glad that armor won't be an absolute wall at higher levels).
Very excited now for Jade, I very much like how the angelic theme comes into play with the skirt turning into wings, and having a weapon set as an antithesis to the stalker's will be cool.

Dont start inserting god into the center of ever single conversation that may not even be remotely related to what people are talking about, its weird and makes things awkward
My main worry with the emphasis on using the correct status effects per faction is that it's quite tedious to constantly change loadouts when fighting different enemies. I'm definitely not the only one saying this, since it's also the reason why a lot of people don't use Faction Mods despite how objectively powerful they are.
I hope that DE can at least acknowledge this fact and come up with some sort of way to deal with this, such as a way to preset weapon loadouts to equip based on who you're fighting. Or a way to quickly change your loadout without going into the arsenal.
Pablo said that it's just a 50% extra multiplier which doesn't make it mandatory, just good to have
If you look at the chart, it's always been like this. It used to actually be more important back in the day before our dmg output got insane and now we barely worry about it anymore. It sees they want to offer an incentive to use the system, but they're not taking away from the people who are not playing into it (other than dmg left on the table).
yeah back in the day, like ragingmonkey said, you used to have to switch between corrosive heat and gas electric depending on who youre going against. but really that was back when tower keys were a thing and sortie was the endgame. people used to actually coordinate with frames used and aura mods equipped. These days it doesnt even matter what elemental mods you throw on a weapon itll still kill most of everything

I've kind of thought in the past that Blast should replace Corrosive when it comes to the Infested vulnerabilities, since Corrosive is already the anti-armour (thus Grineer) element. I wonder if they're going to turn Blast status procs into a small AoE? that'd be neat.
Also, I guess Saryn is getting her Kuva Sobek after all, because she wasn't already stupidly dangerous with the regular one, right? And damn straight Acid Shells better work with it!
I really like the idea of fully freezing enemies. Now, if DE would just fix CC...

The Skin Type changes should’ve been happened ages ago. I’ve always used Corrosive for Grineer, Radiation for Corpus and whatever other one I feel like for the Infested. When In a public squad it’s too difficult to hurry and switch between the status of weapons when everyone usually force starts the next mission. Been playing for 8 yrs and I’ve always just stuck to the game this way
Changes this big are a huge gamble and really complicated, time intensive, and expensive.
They wouldn't have done it normally, I don't think. It's *incredibly* rare for stuff like this to happen this late into a game's life. The complexity is too deep in how the entire game works.
I think what convinced them to do it (total speculation on my part) is having softer reworks like the big one that made Viral/Heat/Slash the meta and moved everything away from Corrosive domination, and those not really moving the needle as far as build *variety* rather than just a *different* dominant build. Their goal as stated is to make various options good choices, and the intense impact of armor essentially handicaps any effort to do that.
After several rounds of fixes and changes failed to produce a meaningful amount of build variety, I assume they decided to bite the bullet and actually rework the underlying cause of the bottleneck in viable options.
Jade should have more eyes and rings to be a biblically accurate

20:13 Huge correction here : it removes the ability for you to mod the weapons fire rate in exchange for more damage, not disabling the setting.

the only way to make the enemies not fall aprt like tissue is to nerf tenno. Happy that they are making armor stripping less madnated but the porblem remains that tenno damage also scales to high. I would prefer a popwer fantasy that is not one shot every enemy but instead just melt every enemy. )talking bout the sheer damage output)
It would be cool if they made the semi auto mod to remove auto in trade of punch trough work on all hit scan rifles, and that it gave punch trough proportional to the fire rate.
So if you put it on the Latron, it would be similar to the regular metal augur giving 2m, but if you put it on the braton, it would give somewhere around 4m or 5m punch trough.
It would be an interesting thing to consider.

I really hope we get a stalker skin for excalibur though. I love playing as stalker in duviri and honestly I prefer getting stalker as a playable frame outside of duviri but I don't think that will happen. But a stalker skin would be cool. Sadly I don't think that will happen either.

These QOL changes are quite good and long overdue, Jade sounds awesome, and I've just spent SEVEN forma on my Sobek because I thought they'd never bring out a new Kuva weapon, so now I'm pissed
Any predictions what "more blasty" might be? The only thing that comes to mind is like a shell-shocked state. Keeping loss of accuracy and potentially dazing them enough to open up for finishers
That protea prime music sounds great
Frost is gonna be sitting REALLY nice with cold proc changes. Ice wave spreading double crit dmg in an AOE? Though if regular cold procs freeze enemies and frosts abilities innately have max cold stacks. I wonder if avalanche will see some tweaks since freezing is no longer unique to it and is actually redundant with the new cold proc changes.

A Sobek variant...I never thought I'd ever see such a thing. I love that shotgun to bits and was always hoping that we'd get at least a Wraith version of it.
The faction changes are looking great
As a lifelong protea main who got her to my most played frame in one week of building her up and i've been playing since we had stamina, i am so excited for protea prime, but at the same time i am financially struggling for the first time since 2018 and probably will miss out on the prime supporter pack. It saddens me on the timing of her release. Tho, if i skip lunch for couple weeks, i could get the pack. Well either way, i can definitely buy her with platinum.
Looking forward to using jade myself never liked using the dread or despair (to me they were a waste of space and time)
even making a build for jade is going to be a challenge since I play with harrow a lot and mainly supports myself (and teammates if they want it)
And the fact you could get potential buffs when holding the weapons is definitely making me want to use jade with her signature weapons at the same time to see her true power (but regardless I'm definitely getting my hands on this warframe the day it comes out)
I heard armour changes and I thought it was for the frames/Tenno. I’m always hoping that my cold chroma gets his spot in the light again, perhaps even a slight rework for when his time comes
14:00 my 2 cents for the suggested damage info
1. I only care to know (which damage type to go with) for specialty mobs like demolishers or other bosses, for trash mobs, you can literally use anything (unless you're doing lvl cap)
2. I'd prefer to have a toggle (when pressing TAB) to see that info, so it doesn't clutter the info menu
6:36 I never really paid attention to armor since I'm Gauss so I never knew about this. No wonder a lot of people always prefer full armor strip. Right now, the DR only went down by 10% even with full (default) corrosive stack.
for a second there it sounded like you said "enemy ammo caps" instead of "enemy armor caps" and i literally had to wind it back and listen again to check...
like can you imagine if enemies could actually run out of ammo and have to switch to melee without any disarm effects hitting them? that'd be so wild.

When I used to play WF, I never used armor strip. The zaws and the buffs to damage from my warframe were more than enough to steam roll even steel path enemies.
It’s more fast scaling game modes that armor strip is necessary it’s pretty easy to brute force steel path
I just started playing Honkai Star Rail like 2 weeks ago and Jade reminded me of Robin, a girl with angel wings in her head. I'll make a Robin inspired fashion when she's released. 😍
That cold buff is hopefully going to make arcanes like frostbite a lot more viable.

While I enjoy the new scythe, if they wanted to do the seraphim theme they missed the idea of a flamed sword for her since alot of angel had swords of light or fire.

My Dante Summoner build just feel like this whole video was one big present.

Elemental buffs equals even more attack types and strategies. He's very elemental heavy... depending on the companion and with Therom Infection depending on which of the circles I am standing in.
New eximus food for my Hound.
More Crit damage for my cold control build (which already had extra fire rate and crit from the bond mods)
Obviously will have to wait till I can test it but essentially the weaker builds just got a lot better with the areas they needed.
Only request is if magnetic worked more like the arcane does when it comes to grouping.
If not that's fine the arcane will proc from of two of pets I interactions.
One final thing..... My Lenz is being brought back out of it's frosted case.

Armour cap would mean tremendous shield increase and the need to completely deplete shields before being able to stip armour or do damage? And instantaneous shield recharge for most enemies?

Interesting how western culture not only associates the inverse with light/dark but even applies the inversion to yin/yang

Also if you think acid shells will be used on kuva sobec, keep in mind how they threat hek and his syndicate mod. The only hope, that it’s not a syndicate mod, but who knows
I think they should buff electricity a tiny bit. Maybe more stuns and longer chains? Or just overall a tiny damage buff?

TBH, if we base damage scaling to game lore, Corpus should be the biggest threat to the Tenno at higher levels since they have the most advanced technology of all factions. The Grineer should be sturdy and tanky cuz of their armor sure but they also have haphazardly put together tech from scavenged materials. The Corpus have laser blasters, robots, and an actual space fleet...
