1:26 the ultimate tree dissolution effect is nailed, perfectly timed and nicely vanished, I didn't even noticed how clean was that disappearance. Truly blizzard level of quality!

The only thing I'd change is that pulling an ally creates a platform under them that lasts a few seconds.
He already has the platform as an ability, so it would fit him and wouldn't allow him to just off their team off the map purposefully or by mistake.

u could say that with any role “can’t wait to try to heal a mae until she ice blocks herself and then i die and she dies too 🙄” or “can’t wait until i try to heal a rein and then he charges away 🙄” like yeah there’s always ways you can use abilities poorly in relation to your team with every character/role. that’s why it’s a game and takes learning/practice to be more efficient than someone else lol it seems like they can heal in other ways still and that if this ability is used wisely it could be super helpful for the whole team

I want a poison/glue offense character. So the hero can switch between poison and glue. Both options can spread on the ground and stay there for a few seconds, Poison damages, glues slows down characters. Altfire is switch attack. Ability One is a glob of either that deals more damage or slows more. He can fire glue at walls and he and other heroes can use it to wall climb. Ability two is a big blob that attaches to surfaces and explodes when in contact with an enemy. Ult is he spreads both poison and glue wherever he runs for a short time.

I like that they are giving a lot more ways to SUPPORT teamates other than heals and buffs even if these abilities are very easy to grief teamates with.
Real talk; I've gotten sick and tired of people doing their own trolling, i.e. slapping people asleep, not prioritizing support (looking at you Rein) and not staying in line of sight so I can freaking heal them, then bitching at me. This, will be fun.

Lifeweaver's voice actor is Phuwin Tangsakyuen, a 19 year old actor from Thailand, who's been in a handful of TV shows and most recently a Thai horror film. He has his English from attending an international school. He also speaks some Mandarin, plays the piano and sings.

A potential change to the grab ability that could be interesting, if it needs a rework, is making it only grab allies who reach a certain health threshold and pull them towards you while healing a certain amount of health. This way it doesn't have as much troll potential and it reinforces the life saving capabilities of this ability. Of course when I say threshold, I don't mean dead, more like anywhere under full hp. Even 1 damage would work, just something to keep trolling to a relative minimum.
You can just say you main Lucio and are mad that some boop kills will be taken away lolol jk of course. Yeah I can see this but from the trailer it looks like to be anti boop ability to me and you're not usually almost dead when a lot of those kills happen

I love that we're getting new Support heroes and the fact that when we all heard about Lifeweaver's ability to pull teammates in we immediately went to trolling teammates and not saving them from environmental eliminations... Or was that just me?

The pull is directly on you so there is minimal trolling potential but it is still there
@@Joe-yu6ih pull as you jump off the side, pull them out of LoS when they’re ulti-ing, pull them into a group of enemies alongside yourself, pull them out of a team fight, pull them off of obj during overtime, etc. etc.
the extremes should always be tested when new elements are added.

@@StripedJacket (on the flip side tho) Pull a fully charged Orisa onto a enemy controlled objective/point (maybe), pull teammates from a troll Hog hook/Lucio boop, pull a tank with you onto Obj to contest into OT, lots of Ults that can be played up or denied with that pull honestly (Cass, Reaper, Lucio, Rein, Mei, etc.)
As a tank, I just may switch to healing main because of this one character. But if he loves nature... Please, have him and Bastion become amazing friends.

His kits seems like something the support Symmetra should've been, like creating platform, pulling allies to herself(teleport), creating a big structure in the middle of the battle field.

If your teammates are overextending then I don't think a 20 second cooldown ability will stop them lol. Really the ability will help you coordinate with teammates to make riskier plays knowing that you can save them.

honestly don't care for the voice chosen. sounds like a person talking into a Mic rather actually acting like the character they portray. When Mercer speaks you know he is talking as Cassidy not himself. This guy just sounds like a youtuber speaking from a script written by out of touch 40yrs trying to figure out how 20 yr olds talk. Kiriko kinda suffers from this too in my opinion

This is a character that can either pull you back from danger like a parent... or throw you off of high places like a parent.

His flower pad will be super cool for plays, especially with hitscans. His pull can save allies from ledges, when they're slept, or if they're out of position (although the troll potential is scary to think about). His ult is honestly a little underwhelming but we'll have to see. Lastly, I wished they showed how he does damage but I don't mind waiting. Super excited for his release!

I really really love seeing Blizzard plans to disrupt the meta. Just one character with interesting abilities can really shake up the game in so many different ways. It forces people to think differently every season. This hero looks so cool and will be so much fun playing a new support finally. Bring on more supports!
yeah, I just hope some of his abilities have different numbers to them when he's released. He's dash for instance at the time of writing only heals like 20 in the early access build.

The game will probably allow it only if that teammate is in "the death zone", the same way it doesn't allow kiriko to tp straight to the void.

Okay I love the anti-boop idea! Genuinely surprised me to see we can now save our teammates when they’re falling off the map. But I hope there are limitations in place so we can’t just pull people anywhere… maybe the ability will require the teammate to hit the interact button in order to accept the pull? I imagine it will be frustrating lining yourself up to get a good ult and then this character just plucks you away somewhere else. (Also, what everyone else is saying-PLEASE do not let that ability enable gameplay sabotage by pulling teammates off the map!)
it just wont work that way. people are scared because they think they will get trolled but life grip exists in blizzard games already and its incredibly valuable and frankly I'm surprised it took so long to get it implemented in Overwatch.

@@rcarl5515 Maybe not in comp, but trolls are still a thing in unranked modes. I doubt it’ll be a big problem with this new hero, but I was only thinking about different ways the ability could be implemented.

Well, you can freely pull teammates in WoW, and also in HotS. All in competitive scenarios, so it was a matter of time it was added here. Yes it has troll potential, same as the platform, but honestly their report system is quite good for that matter, so it's nothing you will see a lot in comp (which, as sadly as it is, it's probably the only target that really matters).
