I give Robyn a lot of credit for including animes that she personally doesn't like in a lot of these lists. Most people wouldn't do that. Honestly, I like hearing when people DON'T like something, as long as they explain why, which all these folks do. I mean, I also find it hilarious when review people shit all over something and people in the comments get mad, but AA actually reviews the stuff and we get to watch them for free.

The second I heard "Pokemon isn't a real anime!", I KNEW you'd find a way to weave in a mention of RWBY. I KNEW IT- and not just because I have had words/comments across Facebook and TH-cam with you specifically, talking about whether or not RWBY is an anime.
Bee-tee-dubbs [or BTW, if you're normal, which you're technically not- no-one is]: RWBY IS officially recognised as an anime. It has been named the first ever 'Western Anime', as it is the only anime to have its life-cycle run backwards*. So there, settled it. It is an anime. Undeniable.
[*usually, an anime starts as a Japanese graphic novel with a manga-based artstyle, then it gets an anime made of it if/when it hits a certain level of popularity, then it may get a game based on it [maybe], then the anime will get localised for Western audiences and get re-dubbed in English. RWBY started as a web series from RoosterTeeth, created by Monty Oum [RIP In Peace, Monty]; after 2 seasons/volumes, RT had their in-house game- development team produce RWBY: Grimm Eclipse based on a fan-made game project; then they commissioned for a Japanese dub of the show; then during the 3rd season/volume, it was announced that there would be a graphic novel based on the show.]
Just got to the 'an arm and a leg' joke- I now feel a little bad. As a RWBY fan [surprise there, right?], that made me titter a bit. I definitely recommend you catch up- if not so then you have something else to review, then so you can get into Volume 4, which has been SO good so far.

Anime in Japanese means animation.
RWBY is a American animation. So we simply call this an animation or a cartoon.
Pokemon is a Japanese animation. Likewise, this can be called an animation, but fans call it by its Japanese name "Anime".
So no, RWBY isn't anime because it wasn't made in Japan. Just because a website lists it as anime doesn't mean it is.
If it's not created in Japan, then it's not anime.
It's the same reason why "Panty & Stocking with Garterbelt" is still an anime despite it having a western styled animation.
"Anime are Japanese Animated Productions featuring hand-drawn or computer animation. " "RWBY (pronounced "ruby") is an American Animated web Series created by Mounty Ohm for Rooster Teeth Productions."
Another thing, Chinese animation recently is catching up in terms of story telling and quality. In Mandarin "Animation" means "Donghua".
But I suppose you'll simply be stubborn, ignore these facts and call it an anime still....

Sun and Moon wasn't out yet. Also, I dunno if those Pokemon were revealed yet, and if they were, Robyn probably wouldn't have counted them since the games weren't out yet.
Pokemon Sun and Moon came out on Nov. 16 2016, and the date that this video was made was Dec. 28 2016, but maybe this video was recorded earlier.
Shadow Kirby well no, I meant at the time that "Top 10 Laziest Pokémon Designs" went up, Sun and Moon were still several months away from release, so it would make sense she didn't know the name of gen 7's Pikachu clone at the time of that video. (I still can't remember its name...)

RWBY is a Western anime.
Anime in Japanese means animation.
Anime is a term used to state "Made in Japan"
You're basically saying "RWBY is an American cartoon made in Japan"
It's a common term when people refer to 'anime', they mean animation created in Japan, not outside.
I know it sucks, I love Avatar The Last Airbender and Korra, I'd love to have them in my "Anime" folder, but alas, they remain in the "Animation" folder.
But that's just a fact. Google search the meaning of "Anime"

I completely agree with you about the sakura tree from Fairy Tail. Because Natsu knew how badly Lucy wanted to see the rainbow sakura tree, and he felt bad when she had to stay at home because of it. He couldn't even have fun and enjoy himself at the festival because he kept thinking about Lucy and that she was home, so I thought it was completely amazing how he took the entire tree out of the ground just so she can still see it. Normal people get their girls a get well card or flowers, but Natsu gets Lucy an entire tree to make her feel better. I love their relationship. Also, on a different note, do you think that you might review Sailor Moon Crystal season 3 at some point? I would love to hear your thoughts on it. I personally loved it!! :)
Hey I have a suggestion. How about a kill la kill review? You brought up how the iconic the scissor blades were before, and that got me interested. It's one of my favorite anime's and I'm interested to know what you think about it.

I watch your videos for entertainment value. I like your team. I also use them as a resource to learn about Anime that, for whatever reason, I haven't come across. My advice to people who hassle you about what 'should' go into the various lists you've made is.....Make your own video! There's a lot more work and effort go into making you tube video than you might think. So please stop griefing content providers who actually got off their arses and made something. Mini rant over :) Thanks Robyn and the rest of the guys. Please keep making content :)

It really isn't though. Maybe the 1st half of season 1 but then it falls apart horrendously. Especially with the unnecessary harem. I think the only ones who like it are prepubescent boys/girls with inferiority complexes. :D
But that's just my opinion of course.
