I was at this game in my home town, I was 13. I was in absolute awe of the Welsh teams resilience and I remember everyone in Rotorua backing Wales that day. If I remember rightly Wales were 5 nations champs prior to RWC? An awesome backline! Wagged school to go watch. Remember running on after full time and thinking, Yeah I'm taller than Jonathon Davis - WTF?

I can never understand why the Kiwi's "Boo" the Aussies whenever they play rugby....does ANZAC mean anything to the Kiwi's?

@@admiralbenbow5083 This game was the play-off for 3rd and 4th and yes they were beaten by NZ in the Semi-final played in Oz prior to this

オーストラリアは三位決定戦に回され、温泉地Rotorua 臭い所へ追いやられた？ などと新聞に書かれていたような記憶。
