J'ai bien aimé le début de la liste des joueurs.
      On voit les connaisseurs.
La différence de qualité de retransmission entre la B B C et la télévision française (j'ai vu le match du Pays de Galles
      contre la France) est phénoménale.

We need a good 30 minute highlight reel of the classic these two had in 1971, one of the greatest matches ever, just like this one!

Thank you very much for this video of Welsh rugby. Can you have the opportunity to get the matches Ireland - Wales in 1976 and 1978, and also Wales - England in 1977, and Scotland - Wales in 1977. That would be fabulous because I really love your Welsh rugby videos from the 70s.

Those are old fashioned "invalid" cars and space was made for them at most international grounds, usually in the corners by the touchline.

3:39 I believe that is a boot to the face of the Scottish player! YEEEEEZZZ@SSS, If that game was played according to today's rules, the Welsh fullback would probably have been banned for life or a very long time?

Interesting that Robbie Clark's try was made when Scotland was down to 14 men as Bigger was off for medical attention and his substitute was not yet on (substitutions only being allowed if a player was judged to be unfit to continue by the team doctor).

Some stamp to the head of PC Brown by JPR. I think he got payback shortly after....new shorts?

Most of the kicks by Peter Brown look slightly "inebriated" if you ask me, especially when he turns his back to the ball & walks away, blows his nose, lumbers in and wallops it one. Who cares about technique? Bah!

Looks like he's wearing the old Adidas "Flanker" type forwards boot too!
Not clear if it's the type with the squared-off & reinforced toe cap though...

I think Bill McLaren had a wonderful turn of phrase, I'm sure he once described the ball going over the bar from a Peter Brown kick, like two pound of haggis.😂

Just a few comments about laws, and I have reffed since the 90s: kickoffs were placed, and there was no reason to change that. Kicking to touch behind the 22: of course since the late 2000s, one can't pass the ball back to someone in the 22 outside the 22 for that kick to touch. It has resulted in more running out of the 22, less line outs, and therefore, more running, and from that? More tackling, which means more likelihood of guess what? Head concussions!

Having seen many old videos of the Arms Park during this era and earlier, I have to wonder why the pitch's lines weren't back about fifteen yards toward the west. The west end or River Taffe end of the stadium had all sorts of room between the in-goal's dead ball line and the uncovered bleachers at that end. Then on the east end, the town end, the corners of the in-goal were in the dirt track that circled the pitch, very close to the bleachers on that end. Why? I would like to find out. I mean, there were worse situations: Wrigley Field, when the Chicago Bears of the NFL played there, had the southeast corner of the end zone cut off by the visiting team's baseball dugout, as both baseball and American football were played there, and on the other northeast corner of the end zone, it was a yard away from the brick outfield wall.
