You need to bring a pair of shorts and an old part of sneakers. When you get stuck go for a swim. This would add fun to the outing. I would rather swim than lose a magnet.

While magnetic rocks occur naturally (magnetite, pyrrhotite, ilmenite, maghemite, awaruite), I find many close to old railroad bridges. Ore cars were frequently filled to above the sides and iron ore bearing rocks would fall off the car. This could particularly be the case if the ties were looser (??) on a bridge, than the ties that sat on ground. Also where there were machine shops there were forges. I have nice magnetite rock that I would like to cut open, but there are too many other things on my to-do list. Just checked the prices on a rock cutter ($$$) and think I will keep it uncut.

Same concept as the scissors style hooks for blocks of ice in the day what you got is the single hook grabber. I think ! Lol

I love these videos and you and the Fisher my favourite. What I like is guessing the item, listening to the jokes and seeing the beautiful areas you take us too. What I miss is going to any body of water unless marsh, you could see the bottom, whether sand or rock where we would go swimming, it was better than a pool. So sad what people, mostly big companies that have destroyed the water with garbage, happy you are all removing so much garbage, maybe one day it will be better, have to stop the factories from dumping

I usually bring waders with me if I come across a lot of rocks. That ice pick was a nice find.

The circle thing looks like a puck from a shuffleboard table! They are solid metal around with a lip on both sides.

Those magnetic rocks can be parts of meteorites or actually magnetite--rare earth magnets, or just rocks with really high iron contents. At least meteorites are worth $$$

Good to have a shady spot. My favorite find was the card table parts that looked like nunchuks lol, and the rake head. Pretty good video, not a bad scrap run.

Remember. astroids are heavy iron and a lot of them are worth a lot. I now have my magnet and am will probably keep all rocks that are of iron!

You need to bring a pair of shorts and or a treble hook/claw as Tyler calls it. He also needs a “claw.” 😊🧲🎣
