    I was hoping this paragon would be much more support based. I think giving an enhanced Ultraboost to all monkeys in its range could've been cool. And for the trap they could've had it give more money per bloon trapped, and maybe just had it able to hold more bloons. It didn't really have to eat BADs

      what i hoped from the design was that the claw can do a bite attack that deals insane damage to bloons. Its a claw similar to excavator’s claws, square and teeth like-object attached to it. the light shines inside the claw, i think that resembles bloon trap pretty nice

      @@dougman1067 i think it would be cool if it could suck up bloons into its chest and make them give twice the cash, meybe even work like a bloon chipper that gives cash, and had an ability which had a very long cooldown and released it as a much stronger XXXL trap but after u use it u dont get the sucktion back until the cooldown comes back. Or just be like nk and make it pointless

    I feel like instead of 3 damage turrets it would have been better if each reflected one of the engineer pats. Like one of them could be put on the track, one of them would buff towers in its range and the last one would be the damge one. Or it would have been cool if it could over clock other paragons so it would be a paragon support.
    I think its a cool concept but it's underwhelming how it incorporates the pats.

    Here’s how I would’ve incorporated Bloon trap: one of the sentries is placable only on the track instead, and functions as a sentry + bloon trap, when the trap is full the sentry explodes dealing high damage.

      I like that idea. Mine was that if you had all the sentries down, then moved one, it would leave a bloon trap at the nearest part of the track to the explosion. Maybe an XXL where the main turret used to be and a regular one for all the mini turrets

      Or like one is like all three of the senterys here combined and the next is a one that can have a stackable ultra boost that’s even better and the last ultra sentery should be a bloom trap spawning that can take 1,000,000 rbe and gives 70,000

    If they were to make a trap for the paragon, wanted to put this on the last video you made of the para. They could make it so the trap can take like 10x as much bloons as XXXL Trap or alternatively, if a BAD goes over it, it can hold the bad and place and deal % DOT but can't take any other bloons in while it's holding a BAD.

      Honestly, they should make traps be able to damage BADs, because if you are going for a paragon its obvious youre going for late games and there would already be more than 1 BADs per round

    It's really a shame that NK missed the mark game-play wise with designing this paragon. It's so far my favourite from an aesthetic perspective (narrowly ahead of the boomerang paragon and miles ahead of everything else,) the visual design on it is really good, and the high degree red sentry stream looks fantastic. There's a lot of things about it I really want to like, I actually like the engineer tower's basic attack and the pin aspect of it. It's just so undistinguished in terms of what niche it fills, and it lacks several of the defining features that make T5 engies stand out. I really hope that NK go back and redesign this paragon. Kind of feels like community reaction to it has been polarized, so I could see it happening, though they tend to just release new things rather than radically change existing ones.

      In terms of the niche it fills, I think the gimmick of it scaling in attack speed as time goes on is very interesting and I hope that stays as a mechanic as it encourages players to buy it early.

      @@yaboyender6596 As far as I've read, it only overclocks itself at the beginning of a round and doesn't increase aside from possibly Degree mile markers, so no, it unfortunately barely even excels at that, the only real benefits I can see from it are the dps from turrets and the fact it stuns MOABs up to ZOMGs
      Edit: Apparently I didn't read far enough, but even still its a bit underwhelming for being the first representative of the "Support" category as a paragon

    Imagine if the engineer could make a bloon chipper type sentry (to kinda incorporate the trap) that could suck up moabs but it sucked up the higher level bloons slower or something. And obviously capped out at 1-2 bads per round

    Hopefully Ninja kiwi will do a little bit more for the later paragons since this paragon doesn't really utilize the bottom path as much as previous ones. Not complaining, just hope that they do more creative stuff for the future paragons. I think doing more paragons with support could make things more interesting instead of focusing on raw DPS.

      But it does have utility! It stuns, and has a damage mechanic that isn't instant but gradual. They have variety to them. I am very happy with how this one turned out. The unique sentries that spawn extra sentries, and just the art itself is enough for it to be epic. Although, a bloon trap paragon sentry would have been cool, I admit.

      @@kribyy7784 I was only disagreeing with the comment a little because I felt it was a creative paragon and was worth the work. It is different from the other paragons. I myself too would love to see a utility paragon. We will probably (or hopefully) see that needed support in the village, farm, alchemist, and the ice tower, to name a few.

    Alright, since everyone has their own revamp ideas, here's mine:
    - Nerf the sentries a bit
    - Add a sentry that drops slightly nerfed big traps, but can have multiple down at once. Higher degrees increase max RBE and slightly increases speed. Cannot hold BADs
    - Add an aura buff that increases attack speed of all towers in range and attack damage of all mechanical towers in range. Buff amounts depend on number of towers in range and tiers of buffed towers. Buff does not affect paragons, instead adding power given to paragons from T5s that are upgraded to paragons within range over time. This makes degree 100s possible in singleplayer without geraldo. As an aura buff, it cannot be absorbed by lich.
    - Remove self-ultraboost and buff main attack by a bit
    - (Most important) Foam gun

    Idea for implemetation of bottom path:Multiple XXL traps across the map(1 near the exit,1 near the paragon and 1 near each sentry placed so a total of 5 XXL traps)
    Maybe even an ability that can trap the bad but that would need extra balancing

    I think a cool way they could have implemented the bottom path better AND add in another feature people have asked for would be to make the sentries act like a Bloon Chipper. Basically it would suck in bloons constantly, stopping after it has filled with enough RBE, and damage the bloon according to their tier. Ceramics would simply be destroyed, but MOABs and BFBs would be taken down a single layer before being spat back onto the track. Each sentry could even have different properties. For example, the blue turret could be able to suck in ZOMGs, but suck in much slower. The red turret could suck in fast and have high max RBE before getting blocked, but it could only suck in ceramics, then the green turret could just be in between those two.

    Literally add a reskined Bloon trap that works on bad and make it spew foam every round. Make it scale depending on level and people will be happy. If they want extra credit just make overboost go to 20 stacks and have it be the same ability as 050

    Kinda silly how degree 1 and 100 have the same cap when getting a degree 100 probably takes longer than the time it would take for degree 1 to cap it's attack speed

    My idea to add the bloon trap is that the paragon automatically throws down 3 bloon traps on the track, a weak one close to the start, a stronger one in the middle, and a very strong one directly at the end. Also for path 2, give the paragon an ability that gives the same buff as ultraboost, but can be used alongside it.

    I think trap could work kinda like BMA where it becomes much more powerful in exchange for not getting money. That's why I would like to propose the paragon VOID trap. Basically a bottomless trap that absorbs regular Bloons, MOABS, BFBs and DDTs. (Would be an I win button if it could absorb BADs. ZOMGs feel a bit too tough to get eaten too.) Trap has either an infinite or absurdly high rbe cap, and collects for $0 whenever/if ever it does.

    Bro I swear every time a new paragon releases, I realize how good some of the paths can be. The dart and boomerang were monkeys that I used a lot for all paths except for plasma monkey fan club so I didn’t really have any realization.
    For the ninja, I really never used the middle or bottom path despite them being the two best for pops, especially the bloon sabotage
    I never used the trade empire because I didn’t think it was good. Then I realized a lot of them can really boost money making.
    For the engineer, I used to always start games with the top path engineer. I always use ultra boost. But I never realized how good a boosted XXL Trap could be and I never used it. It really is good when you boost it and have a farmer near it. It pops out a trap very quickly and only has a ddt and bad weakness.

    You know i feel ninja kiwi should of given the engineer paragon a bloon trap sentry gun amongst the abilities: so instead of spawning extra sentries, it drops bloon traps, maybe just the normal xx4 bloon traps, or maybe slightly better ones (better than 4th tier but worse than 5th tier) (also maybe let that same bloon trap sentry gun shoot foam to get that tier 3 representation for all 3 tiers since it already has sprockets and double guns represented)
    Also they should add a little effect on the paragon that activates each round to communicate to the player the engineer has over clocked itself (and preferably add some text saying it can do that in the description)

    What if one of the sentries was replaced with a Bloon Trap dispenser? A separate, smaller building that can periodically spawn Bloon Traps, maybe even multiple at a time. It would probably only be double or triple the power of the Tier-5 Engineer, but it could also trap a single B.A.D before destroying itself.
    Another of the sentries could also apply Foam around it, like a Spike Factory.
    Plus, maybe a secondary ability would be good for this Paragon, allowing it to actually buff other Paragons exclusively.

    I’m going to drop an idea for how the paragon could have been made, since others are saying their ideas as well.
    -In addition to the engineer’s main attack, it drops suds on the track that deal damage over time to bloons that cross it. These soap puddles would also de-camo and de-fortify bloons, with higher degrees allowing it to de-fortify BADS.
    -4 unique sentries can be summoned, as opposed to 3, to match the number of sentries made by the sentry expert.
    -First one acts like a Tack Shooter, dealing rapid damage in a radial attack. It will do best against many grouped bloons. It’ll also drop mini sentries near the track with a weaker attack.
    -The second one resembles a dartling gun. It will deal plasma damage, with it dealing the best MOAB-class damage and working well on straight lines.
    Its sentries will follow the same target as the main sentry.
    -Third one will be explosive themed, taking parts from bomb shooter, ballistic missile sub, and mortar. It’ll shoot powerful missiles from the sky that have a large explosion and have a burny-stuff affect. It’ll also shoot out weak sentries whose main damage output comes from the explosion they make when timed out or sold. All of the attacks it uses will have a massive damage bonus to leads and DDTs.
    -Finally, the last sentry is a combination of the Bloon Trap and Bloon Chipper. It will suck up neaby bloons and MOAB-class bloons, dealing great single target damage. MOABs, DDTs, and all bloons are instantly destroyed, BFBs are destroyed, but leave their children, ZOMGS get two-shot, and BADs only take a massive amount of damage. Rather than shooting out sentries, it will place bloon traps on the track that can take down up to ZOMGs. Once full, they explode and give money.

    You can micro the turrets, when you replace a paragon, it will replace it, and explode the last one, so you can replace the paragon in the same position, and it will not change at all. And it will cause an OP explosion (Without using this I wouldn’t have been able to beat elite lych this week)

    bottom path might be in the blimp stun, it’s like the pin upgrade with the blimp targeting of an xxxl trap

    Based on the stats given in the Discord screenshot for attack rate, I think with +10% per round it should max out after 50 rounds, not 60. 0.3 to 0.05 is 6x total, so you would need to add 5x or 500% to get there.

    I have a somewhat idea on how to make the engineer paragon utilize it's paths better
    First thing, is make it so that it can place down a Bloon trap. Once full, you can sell it. This further pushes the "support" part of the engineer monkey, in wich it helps creating more cash
    And the second thing, give him an ability where he places down a tower that boosts any non paragon tower around him. The boost will obviously be better than Ultraboost

      I feel like paragons aren't really designed for late game but for bosses so I wouldn't add much except a more powerful ultra boost that can go to paragons but only once on paragons. Assuming it still does the exact same thing but stronger.This will only work on paragons.

    Personally I'm disappointed in this paragon, I'm not saying it's bad, I just wish we'd finally see so support in a paragon rather than just more raw damage. and the missing path is difficult to overlook, They didn't even need to make the trap suck up BADs just a super powerful once a round or long cool down trap would have been awesome! Also I think if the engi paragon had an ultra boost like ability that could boost a single tower by a lot even temporally would be super cool, especially if it could buff paragons or was so strong you could only use it a few times a round and after the tower is boosted it can't attack for a short amount of time (similar to Ben's ability) just to help balance it out a little, and maybe even the engi paragons sentries could buff other nearby towers similar to an alch buff but the sentries could provide their own unique buffs like extra moab damage, increased projectile speed ect.. they could even shoot foam as the buff so then the buffed monkey's would be covered in foam. Idk I'm just a little bored of the raw damage paragons, I want to see something different and unique, not that the paragons aren't super super cool but when they all do this much damage it doesn't really separate them that much, at the end of the day tho I'm happy NK is providing free updates and giving us paragons so even if it's not what I expected I'm still very happy with it.

    If you didn't know a while back they changed it so if you have cleansing foam and sentries it would apply the cleansing foam to the bullets of the sentries and the engineer itself and if you look at one of the arms or maybe even both of them it shows the cleansing from centuries on the arms that shoot the kinds of phone which because of how fast the fires which would be better than the actual kinds of film itself you would have more range it would be more accurate it allows you to do more damage to that and to actually pop leads
    Also it does have bottom path capabilities that is it has the pin from bottom half but they buffed it so it can actually stun

    i think something to include the bloon trap into the paragon would be a sentry that eats bloons, then spits them back out as attacks, it would be able to eat ZOMGs but they would instantly fill it up and it would shoot it back out, doing 1 pop per 2 health each bloon it ate had.

    i think for the trap, it should be an ability that can hold up to 1 or 2 bads worth of rbe and can only be activated once per round, but can be placed anywhere
    I also think that it should be capable of overclocking nearby towers, and also give weak overclocks to other paragons

    before this got release di thought the engi paragon would be op af and be the best one by a long shot, but now considering its cost, i still consider dark paragon the best for its cost and boat for end game

    I feel like they could've easily included all paths with the sentries it makes. Such as one sentry being the top path where it's all about projectile damage, a middle path sentry where it lays down cleansing foam in the surrounding area and overclocks nearby towers, and bottom path where it's like a turret with a bloon trap as the base of it or something similar.

    I feel like it would be cool overpowered or not that any tower near its range gets a 10x overclock buff on it or have a support sentry that like gives special buffs for towers

    Kinda wish they went all out on the support aspect, where a cool incorporation would be that master builder could "teach" glue gunners a better formula that acts like a buffed cleansing foam. It could teach Mortar and dartling gun advanced targeting etc

    Along with someone else's idea, maybe to inpliment traps would be to change the green centry into a lazer+trap that can only be placed on the track, and once the trap fills the trap instantly explodes and gives cash.

    Imo the engi paragon should have it’s backpack act as a trap so once every X time it’s backpack sucks in the most powerful balloon on the screen only as high as zomg or it should only active when balloons are close to it where the traps suction actually slows down balloons and gives extra damage to attacks

    Fun fact: A max buffed sentry champion lasts longer than a degree one master builder. The sentry champion lasted to 192(198 at best) rounds. Isab tried it on one of his max buffing videos.

    I think that the bloon trap part is the towers design, kind of like how the plasma is added to the spike balls in the dart paragon

    I had a concept for the engineer paragon, the Bloon trap would of attack that sucks in bloons until it releases in an energy blast from the champion sentries. It would of been called the the Bloon Chipper

    Fun fact, the Sentrys from the paragon have the shortest hitbox, you can put them all together on the side of that pool in logs

    I think bottom path did get included, with the pin on MOAB class bloons and multiple shots at once. Trap could've been included by making it swallow a single BAD/equal RBE and dropping max twice per round to balance it. Max RBE could scale with degrees

    Idea: on each sentry explosion it drops 5 normal traps, one at the furthest possible place on the track, and the rest randomly

    I would have liked to see to integrate the bottom path maybe the fourth claw that doesn't get used maybe every once in awhile pick up a zomg or lower and put it in the back of the suit

    I do think it's a bit too underpowered for its price but I do really like the utility of it with abilities. Seems like it'll really shine on boss maps with multiple tracks.

    I think a trap that could suck up ZOMG's at a higher amount then XXXL with the same or faster spawn rate would be fine.
    It wouldn't be super op as other towers can do it, but it would be really good and have the big trap part of it.

      I agree. I think NK's intention is that with the stun on MOAB-class bloons and pin on normal ones, it makes other towers including other paragons you have able to get more damage in.

    They are not planning to add the Bloon chipper in the game right? It has some similarities to the Bloon trap, it sucks in Bloons, so maybe they could try to implement it to the paragon somehow, maybe have a hand or another sentry?

    Isab it says that the attack speed bonus is degree independant, meaning the bonus stays the same from degree 1 to 100, so it still takes 60 rounds

    besides the blatantly weird choices they made for this paragon the self ultraboost is a fun mechanic because getting the paragon later means you sacrifice attack speed creep for more pops/higher degrees. ofc this would still be a gamble you’d have to take if you had the option to ultraboost other paragons too ahaha

    Hm, we have 2 primary paragons, a magic paragon, and now a support, we are more than likely getting a military paragon next, i really hope it's sniper, i just love spamming them out. Also hope that if it's not that it's atleast the plane, because i want a flying fortress that covers the screen in darts while also dropping Little Boy's all over the screen.

    Boat will just always win in Freeplay because of ability, engineer rivals it because of it's burst, but it requires so much effort to be nearly as effective.

    It is worth noting that each time a new paragon gets released, the freeplay scaling gets more intense, so even testing old paragons, they wouldn't get as far as they did prior to the update.

    they can make each sentry different like make one put down sentry champion stuff and make another periodically give the overclock buff to towers in its range cap it like at 3 or 5 towers and make the last sentry periodically shoot out a XXXL trap bloon trap but give it more space to contain the moabs and stuff no need to make it swallow up the bad

    I think they need to add 2 things, visuals to the ultra boost, and have the ultra boost effect the engie, the turrets, and everything in both their ranges, making it a support paragon like it should have been, and adding more strategy into where you put the turrets, to maximize their support on your towers, and their damage

    The paragon could have dropped like a landmine that instead of exploding, it latches on bloons and sells them like a bloontrap would but instantly. This way, the bloontrap and the white substance gets addressed by the paragon.
    For balancing, the paragon could drop it every once in a while or only work on moabs/small bloons
