I actually do like how all the paths were incorporated. Yeah it’s not shooting 32 darts out in a circle, but the 16 gets the message across with less clutter, then you have both homing missiles AND darts (the front facing dart attack actually will bend direction to target bloons) does a good job covering the specter path & the several bombs you can target along the track is a cool blend of Bomber Ace & Ground Zero/TSAR Bomba
see how long a superbuffed pirate lord can survive, it got heavily buffed and it’s damage is on par with stuff like carrier flagship and archmage now
Personally my favorite aspect of it by far is the carpet Bomb ability. It looks super cool and has the damage to back it up. The rest of the attack feel somewhat underwhelming, particularly the large dart volleys and missiles, which I think are a projectile reskin of etienne’s ucav
I wish it incorporated bottom path better. Either a slight homing on the ring of 16 (not full neva miss, just how the spectre darts have a slight home), or better yet now that I think about it, make the forward facing ones aim like a spectre instead.
And the carpet bomb bombs look like pineapples

I think, when it comes to paragons, the key is that it feels like the apex of the particular monkey - engi doesn't feel like the logical apex of a tower of which the key paths (really, ultraboost is too good imho) is focused on assisting other paths and crowd control so to speak. I think the best way to go about engi paragon would be a passive in range boost to attack speed that grows to some extent, and lower base damage in exchange for stronger debuffs. Just my 2 cents, as someone who is barely capable of doing chimps occasionally.
I got to round 98 on dark castle chimps once and I think that's the best I've ever done at anything

Tbh i feel like people who don't play chimps/impop are the people most suited to making balance changes for things like smines, vtsg, paragons, e.t.c, as people who usually mostly play chimps/impop dont really get paragons or anything like that in their games
From my own testing, ace paragon seems to be really good at dealing bad damage with the ability but sometime misses ddts and ceramics with the homing darts
Yup but falls off hard past 199 cuz it has no Bad stopping abilities; from my tests a level 76 cannot beat a r200 bad on alpine run, so boat at least is better for cost imo- I wish it was just a bit cheaper, like 700k or something

Yes
Even with the ability it misses DDTs and ceramics on later rounds, because once you press the button, it takes about 4-5 seconds to actually trigger the ability.
they should fix engi and plane paragons man, especially engi with no bloon trap
ever ace paragon video ever, people give up on 201 or 200. Its crazy how this man was able to extend it to 219. This really just shows how much effort he puts into videos

I like how on figure eight and figure infinite, the inner wingtips don't move. It looks like the entire plane is pivoting around the wingtip, pretty satisfying imo.
Also testing this paragon crashed my game lmao.

I like how NK says that they don't think of paragons as 5-5-5 towers but when they first added them and it said it was a 6-0-0 tower when you got a paragon then they changed it to say 5-5-5.
And for dart paragon, that makes complete sense. It's just a buff top path mechanically (hence why idk why everyone's mad about engi paragon revolving mostly around sentries)

Boomer: Glaive Ricochet from top path, super speed from middle and explosives from bottom
Navarch: Airplanes from top, hooks from middle, farming from bottom
Ninja: Shurikens from top, Passive 50% slow from middle, Sticky bomb from bottom(missing caltrops but honestly who cares)
In comparison, the Engi feels like a 5-4-3 at best. The bloon trap is a pretty sizable part of the tower

Its a damn shame and it kinda ruined the firdt support tower it doesnt support anything besides itself its just Another Dps tower and we have enough cool and strong dps towers
On mobile at least(havent tested pc), i found that you actually can put the bombs even closer together by setting it to a red targeting and then clicking somewhere else to cancel the target setting. However, it will still be set to the illegal targeting.
I noticed that too. I was able to cluster them together a few times. I don't think it worked every time though.

truly life changing
in my run on easy and with intense ace micro, the paragon got to the same round (194) as the buccaneer for degree 1. Still, I think it's clear the boat paragon is better pound for pound, since the ace can only reach similar (if slightly greater) heights with near-perfect micromanagement.
It wouldve been rly funny if the higher degree it is the bigger it gets

I really like the front facing dart attack because I feel like it's a callback to BTD5's ace specialty building. And this could be a result of since it's a paragon, it'll inherit ALL ace attacks, even old ones from BTD5.
Imagine if the village Paragon doesn't buff other paragons and is effectively a support temple 2.0

Now that ramping past 150 is higher, would you re-test the other paragons?
There's no difference in round 150 ramping since the first paragon was added (only 250+, which no paragon has gotten to)

I would really like to see a comparison of the targeting options. That frontal attack seems to make a big difference on cleaning up insides.

Yes, wingmonkey is the best, I was going through round 220 easily with wingmonkey on. Because then not only do you get the frontal attack but you'll usually be getting the most of the dart spread too.
It would've been so easy to just slap the three 5th tears together, just
- three bomb streams that do a shit ton of damage (maybe a few more since it's a paragon.
- The sky shredder amount of darts constantly firing out
- The top path moab missiles, a lot of them
- a really powerful nuke
Have you concidered revisiting the "How far heroes get" series? Mainly thinking about how Ezili now has an answer to Purples (along with the other changes made since the video first came out)

I am very excited to see how good this is against bosses. The only thing that could justify its price tag is insane boss damage. So it'll be fun to see
I reckon this is one of the best balanced paragons for its price imo, maybe along with the ninja. Bucc is op and boomerang is underpowered but this feels just right.
That’s the same round I lost to (I won’t spoil it) with the degree 100 when I tested it on Logs (although I tested it on medium, so the bloons didn’t move nearly as fast).
5:35 Sounds like a back-pedal to me. When you lose a round and it shows the game's top popper, paragons read 5-5-5.
Only complaint is that a basic 005 FEELS more powerful. For this massive pricepoint even at level one is should still FEEL worth getting rather than feeling like you wasted your time and money.
I think it'd be neat to see the Ninja, Boat, AND Ace all at once. The boat and ace especially, as the boat will make up for the fortified bad weakness of the ace by just deleting them. As for the Ninja, it would largely be for support in this case, with the permanent speed reduction and sticky bombs dealing massive damage. I feel like they all compliment each-other decently well
It makes me wonder how far all 6 tier 100 paragons together could get. It would have to be at least 300, right? I know the ramping gets absurd at 250 now, but their individual popping power combined with how they support each other would be really strong too.
honestly i could see elite bosses utilizing some really sweaty ace micro, getting sub-1 min tier 5 elites

Maybe it will also buff all water based upcoming paragons too with the ace para
I’m pretty sure ace and engi paragon have the exact same damage values, 200 for degree 1 and same multiplier for bosses and elite bosses
No idea why but for some reason dart paragon has 10x damage to elite bosses. All the other paragons have 4x damage. Goofy.

goliath doom ship needs micro to be useful as possible, wonder how much damage it would deal to bosses ( the boss layer, not the insides as its weak on cleaning up and strong on damage focus )
Can we appreciate that it gains the front-firing mini gun from BTD5? It was locked behind having the max upgraded building (basically knowledge).

I really wonder what the stats for this paragon are specifically. Also kinda wish it would have had 2 more spectre type guns that auto lock while the twin guns that it currently has was the pure micro one (also they should of had 2 extra rows of bombs fired per shot. Also maybe have 4 more homing missiles and have them pierce like the Hydra Rocket Pod missiles so it's like a more accurate combination of the Fighter Plane's missile + the Neva Miss Targetting but only for these ones.)

The Navarch hsa global range and high damage, but it also requires you to have a lot of water to place ships, either to grind pops or bananas
to me it looks like the ace paragon becomes more like a 5-5-5 when its degree 100 and more like a 4-5-3 at degree 1 like ISAB said
My opinion:
1) buccaneer paragon
2) ace paragon
3) ninja paragon
4) engineer paragon (600% ultraboost)
5) boomerang paragon
6) dart paragon (if the map have a lot of wall dart paragon is 4th)

boat paragon's ability to just instakill an fbad makes it very very cracked
I think it's good that Kiwi made a paragon max, it stops people from brainlessly putting all the paragons down and sit back, it actually got to think about it, it's like "do I really need _____ Paragon?" makes you carefully think it out, each paragon has a difference in every map, dart paragon is terrible in open maps but good in narrow and cramped maps like cornfield, plus it's most likely ninja kiwi will increase the maximum of paragons as more paragons get introduced.
I can only see your point on events and ranked modes. On freeplay the limit is just plain stupid

Boomer paragon is basically dead and for t5 bosses logically only makes sense to get the strongest paragons
This doesn’t change anything but make the weaker paragons unusable for no reason
Fun fact: If you look closely, you can see the mini bombing planes coming out of the ace paragon's underside.
Rly a good paragon,uses all paths,requires skill instead of mindless dps,looks sick at higher degrees and got rly far,downside:requires pops and not an alternate way,expensive
It’s deffinitly a lot better than engi. It does have some flaws imo: requiring pops IS a weakness, it means it’s worse in boss events where pops are harder to get, and which are the main uses for paragons. Also, the attacks other than the carpet bomb feel underwhelming both visually and in terms of power

Could you possibly add the paragon records to the descriptions for videos in this series, because you reference the records set by other paragons in the video and I have no reliable way to check and see what those records are when I can't remember the round numbers.
I feel like the ace paragon would do great when paired up with buccaneer paragon. Ace does massive damage against bads and the buccaneer cleans up the insides with its auto hooks
They should’ve made the paragons description “THE BIGGEST PLANE”
This goes to show that the ace paragon is truly an Incredibly Strong Airborne Behemoth(I.S.A.B.).

I really hope they will add the posibility for paragons to buff each other, it would add a lot of complexity to when to build what and make it esier to incorporate diferent paths. Like it would have been really cool for the engeneer paragon to do that or for the pirat one to have a special buff on boats and aces.
That is the only reason I can really see them limiting the amount of paragons you can have.
Imagine navarch buffs the doomship like the 5-x-x buccaneer
"We don't consider paragons to be 5/5/5 towers" Dart Paragon - Doesn't have fan club effects, it's basically a 5/2/5, so they haven't backpedaled anything.

i got my first degree 100 paragon with the ace today. i got to round 197 without micro or ability placement
I'm surprised that Degree 100 doesn't have a third, larger cockpit.

I love how agile it is when you turn it around and everything. Somehow it always gets a laugh outta me
i do wish they had more of a flying fortress incorporation, considering its where the beefy price tag comes from
Imagine the alchemist paragon is the transformed beast with gold on him and his permanent brew potion buffs 3 or 4 times it does at its base and it can buff other paragons.
It would be a bit better if the basic purple missiles had at least some "Neva-Miss" applied to them, so that they could at least avoid the near-misses
Next paragon, Wizard Paragon *Lich*
-They are commonly for their various of strong spell and magic.
- Able to turn any killed bloons on the spot the moment they are killed to the undead with the form they came in
- Can summon ghost fire on the ground that burns enemies and turns them into undead.
-can summon a skeletal wyvern that circles the map and deals damage and apply fire debuff which turns them into undead after killing.
- All of the accumulated kills are summoned at the back into undead that could obliterate bloons
I am sure that the Deva thought about making it have 32 not homing projectiles but instead aimed to lower amount higher damage, good choice to lower lag
I don't really see the problem with a 3 paragon limit, since they're so expensive to begin with. It makes much more sense to me to focus on a few mid-high degree paragons rather than many low degree ones.
I kinda agree, for challenges like races and bosses, but part of the problem is when you're doing casual play and just wanna drop every single tower in the game and experiment like that on some random round 350+ freeplay save.
That would be bad for highest round runs. We need all paragons to push the limits of the game
it's not so much a 5-5-5 but a 4-6-3
It would be nice if the forward firign attack, that does most of it's power, had a wider angle it could fire in, or even just 360 to really get the spectre path in

So I realize the pattern that could tell us what the next paragon will be if you look at the primary military and magic the paragons are always right next to each other if we’re counting the vengeful as one as well so the next paragon might be a bomb shooter a Heli pilot, or the alchemist

Ability aside, I figured that the new Paragon is best a destroying clusters of bloons, but after watching this, clearly it's still crazy against elite bloons.

They need to make all of its missiles homing, make carpet bombing have a much smaller delay, make the anti-Moab missiles do more damage, and make its level 100 much more potent since it only seems to get a minor damage buff and faster shooting.
i think i just realised why i think this paragon is weird; the huge plane going in such tiny circles looks so strange, if the flight paths were just a *little* bigger it might help

I like this paragon including all paths, but i dislike how heavy the micro is for it, to me it feels more powerful the more it can do on its own
have you compared paragons to 555 towers yet? like do the official "555"s go farther than the modded ones? i assume so since they have the degrees but there have been some of the 555s feel better than paragons
nojroom bloons did this with some. i think he might do the paragons vs the 555s when gets them unlocked on his new account
Whats the highest round you can reach right now in singleplayer?
With the 3 paragon limit if u have a saved game with the last 5 u still have them u just can’t place anymore cause I’m round 280 with 100 apex, 80 something boomerang, 80 something ninja, 60 to 70 boat, and 80 something masterbuilder paragon

Wait there's a limit on the paragons you can have? I have all of the paragons on one of the maps (currently going on round 277+ and going strong ) and the only ones I don't have placed down yet is the engineer paragon since I'm getting up the money (I sold lots of things since my phone was lagging like crazy)

Actually it is a 555 tower it has the A 16 dart volley which comes from the top path you’ve even said that basically that constantly shoots out 16 bombs four of them at which home in and then the middle path is just the ability so it actually is a 555
I remember saying I wanted a high micro Paragon and someone asked me if I was high. Guess I got the last laugh.

So we have Dart and Boomer for primary, This and boat for military, but only ninja for magic and only engy for support If we're going off of that, then shouldn't the next paragon be a magic or support type?
I wonder if once they add every paragon, they'll give us an option to buy like a monkey power that allows an extra paragon
If the front gun was aimed like the spectre/fortress, it would be a lot more powerful.
when you used him ability at round 200 he only damaged 400k but at 13:12 he damaged 6000k (at one time)
For 800000 dollars, unless your fighting vortex, you might as well just go for the boat paragon.
