- How Good Is The ENGINEER Paragon Vs. ELITE Bloonarius? BTD6 / Bloons TD 6 - in the first boss since update 32.0, I figured it'd be good to try the new engineer paragon to see if it's actually worth using in this boss!

About the degree 30 glitch (mentioned at 8:09), what they fixed was the fact that you had to upgrade a specific dart monkey in order to get the high degree. It's now irrelevant which monkey you upgrade, if you have two crossbow masters on the field you hit 30. Getting a degree 20 even with two XBMs was the issue, not getting degree 30.

@@josenobi3022 I literally did the level 30 paragon "glitch" today on Bloonarius and it worked
3:33 they added a feature that the hero placing hotkey (default: U) selects the hero after the hero is placed, which might make this possible

For those who don’t know, being “flagged” means the game thinks you’re hacking and puts you in a pool of other flagged players, whether your actuslly hacking or not

If you don’t know how you know if you’ve been flagged, then look at the gear in the top-left. If you see two leaves, then that means you’ve been flagged; if you don’t, then you haven’t been flagged.
Theres a red flag when i played normal bloonarius. I think thats just a check point it appears every round where the bloonarius will spawn(first time playing but have watch isab for over a year)
I love how the BAD leftover from the tier 3 boss just casually wondered on by for a while until ISAB noticed half way through it being alive
engi sentries are almost an exact reskin of each dartling path
green sentry: plasma accelerator
blue sentry: MAD
red sentry: mix between anti-bloon and BEZ
people keep saying this, does the red sentry have any similarities to BEZ other than multiple projectiles? because at that point you could say that sun avatar, triple shot, or apex plasma master are ripping off BEZ.

I'd say that the main attack is closer to a BEZ, while the red sentry is more like Sun Avatar meets Anti Bloon

Since Monkeyopolis got nerfed to give less money, I would imagine that Bloon Trap farming is going to be more meta for making money on top of the usual basic Farm strategy.
It would also increase money count for engi paragon so why not?
maybe people will finally use Rubber to Gold... But I imagine the tryhards will just go back to infinite micro druid farming for land-based maps
Bloon Trap is pretty fun so I hope that's the case! I've been doing 204 at the very beginning with 024 village to maximize money from traps so I also get points toward the engi paragon, and if it's really that good then I might prioritize 205 after t2 or 3 for even more stonks.
Also I had no clue that the engi paragon sentries did that much damage on explosions, and I wonder if you could solo t5 elite with a good enough paragon (with cleanup). ~400k at degree 50 means each explosion does 1% hp, so enough of them adds up.
@@Amodh1257 months later but I personally always use rubber to gold and except for multi lane maps without overlapping I haven’t been disappointed

sell a sentry paragon create an explosion that deal HUGE damage, so you should replace sentry as soon as possible rather than waiting for the boss to get out of range

Btw the thing about fixing dart paragon degree inconsistencies doesnt change the fact that if u place all 4 t5s and upgrade to paragon in between rounds, u get a degree 30
I think it's more worth to place geraldo round 1 since the nft will increase its value only while geraldo is placed, meaning that even though you will pay more for it, your value when you sell it will be higher
It is not sure because it can delay your farming and make a snwoball effect that end you with less un money, however, if it is your only farming then you are rigth
Engi paragon shoudlve had an ability where he could overclock other paragons
My favorite this is that I've been going bloontrap in pretty much every game I've played (that's not chimps or whatnot ofc) and I've always been thinking how good it is, especially in the 40s. Glad to see it become a sort of meta lol

For tier 3 bloonarius, people usually do a dart paragon. I do a super buffed grandmaster ninja. Its a little more involved but it gets you a pretty high degree ninja paragon for the late game, which is fantastic. 20x shinobis, master bomber too(bc why not) homeland, support temple, cripple Moab, overclock is more than enough usually.
This could actually be a strat, what elites does it work on
@@adamduffy2407 well obviously not lych to some extent. It could be possible if you get multiple tier 5s. You can superbuff big plane for lych and put it in the corner away from lych if the map cooperates. The other benefit of lych is you can purposely heal lych to farm extra hp if you can afford it. The best is probably bloonarius. Vortex is possible if you use big plane in the corner, and just add a sentry paragon with grandmaster Ninja for dreadbloon.
I wish that the engineer paragon could ultraboost others towers, but it is good nonetheless
What about the xxxl trap tho? You know he is also in mix why doesnt paragon have xxxl trap power?

despite everything else the engi paragon attack speed mechanic is really cool as it makes you strategize over whether you should sacrifice attack speed for paragon degrees
though as I understand you sacrifice very little especially at higher tiers, due to higher tiers starting with more AS and thus needing less rounds to hit the cap/hit the same point (plus they would also have higher damage, thus having higher DPS for same AS, and thus higher potential DPS)
I love the feature of a button that instantly puts you in hacker pool. Always wanted to know what its like in there

Using the rejuvenation potion to put up more paragon sentries is a great way to buff the engineer paragons dps during boss events it seems

You should redo the how far will a buffed legend of the night go. It got a massive buff this update
Before the update a 10 farm opolis or smth just worth 200k earned the same amount as a monkey wall street if not more so now its the best option (this is overtime at high rounds so maybe it increases production)
AOR seems like a really good tower to use against almost all tiers because its stronger the more bloons are on screen
Just thinking about door gunning the sentry and blowing up stuff around the map.
Might be an interesting challenge idea (it’s possible to carry a sentry and blow it up while it’s being door gunned right?)
I don’t think you can because it’s part of the paragon
@@dragonex4723 Saw a post on reddit that said you can doorgunner the sentries, but judging by the wording it seems like replacing the sentry does not make the one in the door gunner blow up, it just disappears
1 recursive is really realizable for normal, I only used one with no buffs and it was able to kill all of tier 1 and 2 ceram rushes

with the help of this video (bombs in particular) i beat my first boss on normal. I didn't have two paragons however, I just build 30000 monkeyopolis with 420 farms and just marketplaces(and later the tier 4 and 5s) didn't want to copy everything completely from round to round. And not with geraldo.
I went for benjamin in this boss and got 6 2 0 0 farms while getting an engi with double shot then got the bloon trap with trap money I got all marketplaces in round 36-37 then saved up like 15k without selling anything

with micro it easily do 34 mil because when the big sentrys get replased the exploison deals 140000ed on degree 1
I honestly expected so much more from the blue sentry, since it was able to delete bads in normal runs. This massive damage (with more damage to bosses since its a paragon) sounds way too op on paper.

If you sell/upgrade to a t3 your dart monkey, the tack zone will be cheaper cuz of monkey knowledge
just to warn people another bug is if you open the up to level 10 hero menu and wait until it turns level 10. and upgrade then your monkey money goes to -6 milion. found out the hard way but luckily NK support reverted my monkey money

By the way, miniopolises make more money than BRFs, however they only make 150 more dollars per BRFs (example, 2 4-2-0 BRFs make 3900 dollars, a 2 farm monkeyopolis makes 4200 dollars per round) so yea, not a big difference

The opolis nerfs suck- I feel like they should have nerfed the early farms. Maybe do something like what happens in battles 2 instead of just killing the whole tower....
As stated in the patchnotes, the Monkeypolis is not meant tobe used to generate more money than the farms used, it was always designed to allow you to place more farms. There is only so much space you can use to put farms in, having a Monkeypolis basically doubles the amount of farms you can place - and that was it's intended use and main power.
@@RancorSnp it’s made a tower which already had one niche, boss fights, niche there and useless everywhere else (down from useful in bosses and okay for freeplay).
Saving space is extremely rarely going to be a useful ‘main power’ of everything especially when it costs 5K per farm to do it!

Two if this was so then the monkeyopolis should be as efficient as BRFs before hitting 10+ farms but it falls behind slowly to them.
Three It feels underwhelming too put SO much work into planning the perfect amount of farms you can put into this village and for it basically be a normal farm. However like I said early farms (aka 2 farm opolis) Did need a nerf cause this was brainless and could be done on any map.

As you can see, according to the devs themselves the way this upgrade was designed was to be able to suck in farms, and place new farms - or towers in the freed up space.
It being used to generate more money than the farms it absorbs was never something they were going for. And people have been abusing this quality in bosses so it got bonked

People are clowning on poor Engineer Paragon for building Dartling Guns again when that amazing engineer designed and built the dartling gunners themselves. Obviously the paragon was inspired by the Dartling Gun and designed automated turrets based on it

I wish the Engineering Paragon's turrets would give ultraboost stacks to towers in range, as well as an XXL Bloon trap for each one. This would have to be at the cost of severely slashing the Paragon's DPS (and it's turrets) maybe being more focused on applying a Pin effect (which really needs it's own graphic for MOAB class Bloons and above)
Benjamin also got nerfed. He gets level 10 on wave 64 now.
