To be a camp person in the 90's is just weird. They started the Britney Spears era. "Oh i'm free i'm a bird in the tree" and i DON'T DO DRUGS because i'm to cool for school. And they would have you believe they were ACTUALLY drug free already in 1989 but they want to act coy about it. In fact - they saw a friend "alledgedly" do drugs at a party in 1990. They have never done it themselves of course but now they are "veteran drug users". BS all the way. And they have a story about how drugged up they were 1985-1989 although nobody can confirm it and now we are supposed to cry about it. I mean, they may have smoked a doobie or two as teenagers and now they are "casualties". Also they have a full orchestra behind them so they are an absolute pillar of morality and goodness. This narrative stared already in the 90's where people were like " oh yeah, i heard he had drug problems". It's the ultimate normie fantasy of a rcok star but WAY off the mark.
