Seriously so pumped on the feedback we have recieved on the video! Could not thank all the viewers so far enough! New video is coming soon... Bought some new hardware and we have been testing 0-60 and 1/4 mile times. Planning to up production level too! Stay tuned 😁 (haha get it?)
You can see it adjusting and getting faster the more you drive it. Totally normal with a new tune. That's awesome guys! Cool father and son team! My father and I get along like you and your father do in the video. My pops is one of my best friends. Good stuff.
@@mattp9932in newer cars like this it is entirely normal for the car to need to be driven to adapt with the tune. Most new cars have adapt drive cycles for normal part replacements.
Remove the plastic cover on the intercooler , it is the same cooler that is used on the S5/S4 but the 2.0 has aproximity 1/3 of the intercooler blocked off with a plastic plate and once you remove it you have resolved high intake air temperatures and get much more consistency with the power from the tune.
I went IE stage 1 on my 18 a5 as well (about 1 month ago). I did some draggy hits and the increase was incredible. I shave 9/10ths off of my 0-60 time. Almost a full second! No hardware changes at all. We noticed the power increase after leaving the first stop sign. I’m real close to going stage 2 now.
Let me know if you go stage 2! I am curious. I love mine and the tune. Wouldn't change a thing. We bought a Draggy, so times will be in a video coming soon!
@@cargeek04 I’ve been searching high and low for a sound clip of a b9 a4/a5 with a cat delete only for a sound clip. I don’t want my car loud or to have a drone so I’ve been hesitant.
I lived with my IE Stage 1 tune in my A5B9 for just under a year now, patiently waiting for my IE catted DP to arrive before I move up to Stage 2. Nothing went wrong over the last year, no problems, still VERY fun to drive. Can’t wait for stage 2!
I love the car...I turn around 10x to take a look at it when I go to the grocery store...I have the APR tune and I'm sure the IE tune is just as good and it's scary fast! I love it big time!!!
I am just glad I am not the only one haha. My wife always rolls her eyes at me when I turn around to look at it one more time! APR was on the list. Good to hear you like it!
A couple of things… For launch control it’s sport mode, dynamic, and you HOLD traction control off for a bit until it throws the warning that it’s all off. Then it’s left foot brake right foot gas to about 2500 to 3000. That will make a remarkable difference; it’s built in launch control on a normal car lol. The oem intercooler is weak sauce. If you are hot dogging it like that, it’s going to heat soak after 2 runs. An intercooler is really needed for back to back runs, but not needed for a couple of quick pulls. Its awesome that you are doing this with your dad…my dad and I do the same thing. Nice video!
I have found that launch control still works even if you do not hold the traction button to turn it completely off. Usually I reserve that for when I want a little slide time haha. And yes the more I read and hear it seems to be the case. Honestly for my use it will be fine, but we for sure hammered it way too much that day. Been a dream since for day-to-day passing. Thanks! We have more stuff planned and are hoping to start filming again soon! We really enjoyed it and there are some new cars in the family that would make things interesting...
In my b9 a4 if you hold the traction control button down and turn off stability control aswell the launch control rpm hold point changes from about 2000rpm to wrround 3500rpm.
Good to hear! My wife was pregnant so I am a little behind... But we have another video planned that is being filmed soon. We will show 0-60 times and I will be installing some new hardware!

I have had 0 issues. Warranty will be up soon for me anyways due to how much I drive. So was less worried about that. But other than the extra fun you get everything else is as if it is factory. Highly recommend the tune. Dealer gave me an A4 the other day while they did recall work and missed mine so much!
@@cargeek04 Did you have any other mods put on? I have a 2019 a5 with a GFB diverter valve upgrade, IE intake, and resonator delete.
