I really miss playing this game but I did get burnt out with it.

Same I always want to get back into it, BUT I dislike the material grind and odyssey needs a lot of work I check in on updates every other month though.
I had taken a year off and came back just as the proteus wave was being fired. I had no idea any of this had been going on. No matter to me though, I am an explorer and am far out of the bubble.

Well in Hip 22460 they attack you no matter who you are and what you carry ;D

So bad this game has no ships interiors and just black screen when you get in and out of vehicles and ships :(
It doesn't bother me as much as I thought it would. But still, here's hoping that eventually we'll get those - or at the very least, walkable bridge spaces.

We can't wait for you to join us! The situation with consoles thoroughly sucks, but Frontier is clearly bending over backwards to try to make it right for console CMDRs.
I don’t complain much and I understand Frontier: it’s a business after all but giving us console players the chance to bring all our hard work to pc is honestly awesome and rare! Can’t wait to switch, already got my pc laptop with odyssey installed and ready!!!

Since the update ive tried plotting a course to hip 22460 on my nav but that and every system near it says course plotting failed. I tried to hard to make it before the update but that didnt happen. Im just tryna see my first thargoid! Any help here would be appreciated guys.
They will just kill you there on sight. probably you should be looking for another thargoid-populateed system if you just want to see them.
Are you plotting a carrier jump? If so, I'm not surprised. The surrounding systems are pretty well packed. (I was lucky to get a good slot next door in the same system where the Musashi was anchored before the Proteus Wave.)
If you're just trying to fly your ship there, it means that either your ship's jump range is too short to make one of the necessary jumps along the way, or (more likely) the course you're trying to plot is too far for the nav computer to handle. In that case, just plot a course to an intermediary system between you and HIP 22460. Once you get there, try plotting the rest of the route. I commonly have to do that when heading out past the Witch Head Nebula or to a remote Guardian site.
You can also try tweaking the nav parameters by turning off options like "only use scoopable stars".

@@OGkrymsonclouds BE CAREFUL! My friend and I are in souped-up Alliance anti-xeno ships and we still have issues facing the Goids. They're hyper aggressive in the system.
Head towards Maia and scan for non human signal sources threat 5 is either scouts or 1 interceptor if it hasnt changed since update

You can do all this in Horizons except be on foot firing hand weapons.
@@hullster9970 Plus all the other stuff you can do by foot. There are 7 different classes of mission types like it is for ships
and there are combat zones on the planet like in space, new engineering with all the associated grind (looting bases is funny too).
So it is much more than firing hand weapons and it is much more fun playing Odyssey as after the unfortunate release.

@@francez123456789 The issue is some people can't afford to spend a couple of grand on a decent gaming PC. Now GPU prices are dropping, it should be easier, but it's still twice, sometimes three times as expensive as a next gen console.
