Beautiful! Played lots and lots of Elite Dangerous, but never got to Odyssey. Enjoyed seeing this kind of gameplay.

Why we can't see the atmosphere before you enter it???

classic! I haven't played in so long. It was actually the VR that pulled me in. Being able to look around inside my ship and feel like I was "actually" inside the ship through VR was awesome as opposed to just looking at everything on a flat screen of detachment. I escaped reality for hours/weeks as a Void Opal Miner. Granted I couldn't walk around in my ship like you can in Star Citizen, plus Elite Dangerous procedural generation means if you've visited about 10 planets, you've visited them all but I did love to immerse myself in the belief that I could navigate our galaxy in a loosely based NASA reality. Plus the menus and the ships just felt so real, almost visceral. All the sounds and the complex menus made me feel like somehow I had gone through some sort of astronaut training. Like no one could just pick up my ship and fly. You had to have knowledge and experience and an understanding of all the complex menus and controls to properly navigate the galaxy. Especially if you went WAY outside the bubble.

Yep- that is a gorgeous planet.

If only there were things we could do on planets, like building a small base, prospecting and building mining wells, for minerals, ice etc... This would make the player stay a while on said planets

elite dangerus have better flight mechanics and more stable than star citizent. star citizent is better in all the rest. man star citizens is looking 1000 times more pretty for sure. but elite is away more realistic in flight model.

I'm sorry to be that guy but Star Citizen is far better peaceful etc

So I’m not sure what I am doing wrong but I go into camera suite and select a camera angle but when I exit the camera suit it reverts back to first person but I want to play in third person view. What am I doing wrong?
