Here's a quick guide on the quickest way to get a lightsaber in KOTOR 2! Hopefully you guys find this helpful!

IIRC, if you build your lightsaber before dancing for the hutt, the container will contain another lightsaber rather than a part

Technically, All lightsaber parts after you build your lightsaber will be replaced with a lightsaber.

Just started playing Kotor 2 for the first time after flying through Kotor for the millionth time and your vids seriously help even on this classic old game
To note on the Padawan in the Enclave. If you are using the TSLRCM Tweak Pack, then the lightsaber part will still be with Jorran and the Padawan is re-removed.

I guess use the mini map? They're all named and main locations. The areas on nar shaddaa are all accessible from the main area you start at, and the dantooine area is the place you absolutely have to go to to advance the story. So I don't mean to be rude, but if you can't find those places, you won't be able to actually play the game anyway.
Really hope KOTOR 2 releases on the Switch next. Been playing the hell out of the first one recently. These were my all time favorite SW games for the original Xbox. 🤞 Here’s hoping they don’t butcher the PS5 KOTOR remake.

I found a cheat screen on the switch, just press the L joy stick a bunch and it will pop up. You can get anything from the screen. Invincibility, lightsabers, armor, powers, feats. A few minutes into the game I already had two sabors and very force power.

i used to go to the mandalor planet theres a vault not far from where you land(dead guy eaten by wildlife) then go to the desert planet and run straight to the monster to get it pretty quick myself back in the day... just after getting to choose where to go...
bravo dude greatful thank you!!! its been so many years... i used to jump to the mandalorian planet theres a corpse by the vault 2mins from the ship or around the corner u could grab a part from that was eaten by wildlife... then would go to the desert planet take out the dragon or what ever it was and have the lightsaber that way XD
I love how you did both console command and one for those without access to a computer.
So I am going to use the non legitimate way for my other playthrough as a dark side male. Thanks for making it possible for me to have my favorite characters for a longer portion of the game! I just like having a lightsaber

I play on xbox, And I always get a lightsaber before completing a planet, for this you need to go to koreiban first, get the part from there (you'll probably have to level up and change alignment to do so, I simply glitched into it because I am good at the clipping) anyway after grabbing the part from koreiban you need to get the visas cutscene, go defeat her and bewm you should have all the parts, note that a color crystal isn't needed, lots of people think it is, but by default a green one is used so no worries.
Install the Lightsaber on Peragus mod!
Mods can give you a lightsaber on Peragus ;P

I never could get into this one. It taking a long ass time to get a lightsaber was a big reason why. It's a star wars jedi rpg. I don't wanna use metal swords and blasters.

Can confirm adding enable cheats=1 and hitting Tilda key does absolutely nothing
It’s pretty easy to verify with a google search of “kotor 2 cheats” that it does work. The difference is that in kotor 2, what you’re typing doesn’t actually show up on screen, but it’s easy to verify that you’re typing in a console command by pressing any of WASD, if your character doesn’t move, then you’re typing in the console. If it’s not working, then you’ve done something wrong enabling cheats.
@@GamingYourOwnWay I have the Free download version from Amazon Games that came out about a week ago ish. And I can also absolutely confirm that it infact does not work. After hitting the tilda key ... character doesn't move but the character windows & etc will still ope which automatically negates any code you attempt to type in.

@@GamingYourOwnWay The dialogue option didn’t come up, yes I did tamper with the will
I know it's not one of the initial dialogue options, you have to talk to him about like if you're up to trouble in Dantooine first before he'll talk to you about it. Let me find my stream from the other day where I did it, could you double check that you followed the same dialogue options as me?

open swkotor2.ini, go to the [Game Options] section, type EnableCheats=1, save, open kotor 2, hit the tilde key, type your console command and hit enter. You will not be able to see what you are typing, you can verify that you are typing in a console command because when you hit wasd your character will not move.

It should not. If there are mods that like replace items, giveitem cheats may like give you different items than intended, but mods aren't going to like disable cheats or anything.

I don't think there's a way to do console commands on the mobile version, but I'm pretty sure you can use save editors, so you could probably start a new game then just add a lightsaber into your inventory using a save editor haha!
Where can u get save editor for this?
You can also use Havoker's Ultimate Items mod which gives you 2 lightsabers when you get to your PC's room onboard the Harbinger, it works for my Android tablet.
