Technically yes, all you need to do is copy over the OnionOS files on an sd card, if your phone supports sd card you can plug one in and copy the files, if not you will need to use some form of transfer between the phone and the sd card reader via USB. Just google OnionOS and then download the ZIP, extract it all into the boot directory of the empty SD Card and plug that in the Miyoo Mini
Can I just do it with the SD card that comes with it? Like make buckup of BIOS and Roms, then wipe all data from the card, install Oninon OS and then put the backed up BIOS and Roms.
No, you only need the old one to copy over the Bios and roms, you install onion on the new one, put it in miyoo mini, after install is done, take it out and put it in PC and copy over the bios and roms
What aboit firmware version? In onion docs they specify 20230505**** - 20230628**** (links to download firmware). My MMP came with 20240721**** firmware version.
It shouldn't matter that much, I cant find any info on this so you should be good to go, dont forget to make a backup of the original sd card if you plan to use it for OnionOS
Hello, thank you for this explanation, but I have a question. Can I do this explanation on the phone?

@@SunwindPC But do I copy all the files to the SD card all at once or should I choose a file to read the device and then copy all the files to the SD?
just extract the whole zip into the sd card
Can I just do it with the SD card that comes with it?

You can do that, yes
Thanks.
Can I take the roms and bios files from the sd card then add to a new sd card and play them on a new device
Yep, in fact its recommended you do that, because it comes loaded with all the bios files you might need
We should download onion on the old card first then upload it onto the miyoo mini plus then add the new card afterwards?

i can see the games in my onion os but... it says "the requested file was not found".
no game is working
Did you copy the bios folder?
@@SunwindPC correction, only GBA games are not working, am trying to play pokemon fire red and emerald
GB games are working.
@@SunwindPC i refreshed the roms, now it is working.
Great!
