Honestly I get how ppl don't like how this is a viking a assassin's creed game but we had a pirate one and I don't think pirate's were really stealthy assassin so the viking thing kinda grew on me the only thing I wish they had was more assassin content for gameplay and story
Yea, but you had the pirate one with the same stealth and combat system as the ones before, it was good and fluid, I wouldnt mind if it had the same system as the older ones, not the arcade rpg style game
@@jamesjohn8740Right?! They were just hopping on the pirate bandwagon. I constantly read comments about how they miss the assassin aspect of the past games lol. Last time I checked an assassin was someone who murders important people for religious or political reasons, exactly what happens in Valhalla too. Assassin doesn't mean stealthy in a cloak 😂
Btw if you go into gameplay options and turn on guaranteed assassination, you can truly begin to feel like an assassin, it is possible, just requires time and patience with the ai
The game has some crazy untapped potential. Drop the Assassin's Creed title and fully delve into the Viking experience. The foundation is clearly there, just spend some more time polishing the game, take yourself more seriously as narrative driven title and we could've had something special.
@@jamesjohn8740 Fr, remembering having gotten all the sets and I just felt like… that’s it? Then I learnt that apparently 90% of the gear in Valhalla is in the damn store.
I don't understand this concept. The game ties in to AC. So they're not obligated to make it a new ip they could but there was no reason why they should. AC has always been about the ancient war and the three parties in that war not just the assassins. We've played as templars before. We've had games fully focused on templars. Valhalla is about the isu as well as the origins of eagle vision. It actually makes less sense for it to be its own thing than it being what it is. A side chapter of the AC story.
Because he acts like an idiot kid and most people can't listen to over the top shouting and immaturity. Act your age man, not hating, just stating facts.
I was just looking for a video to see if valhalla was worth buying with the steam sale and I'm so glad I discovered your channel this was a great and funny video! def gonna check out your other vids, also this games not like an ac game but I will still probs get it since it looks like a cool viking game
I love AC Revelations specifically with how you could do missions with your assasins and Train them up to be a higher rank and could command them if only a newer version with that feature but like they are ai that can follow you around when you want them to and then vanish when you don’t want them following you making many options to like idk send to attack certin units cause a distraction and so on so many opportunities
Funny how people don't call the rpg games as assassin's creed while these games literally gave all the information on isu about which we had very limited knowledge. You are utterly mistaken if you consider ac games to be related just with the creed coz the entire jest of this series is to protect the world from the solar flare. This is what forces the modern day assassin's to go back in time (memories) to discover how the isu tried to prevent the solar flare. For people who say that how is odin related to ac, well if you paid attention you would have understood that odin was an isu but since Eivor doesn't know about the isu like basim or sigurd, He recalls the memory of odin according to the norse myth. The entire story of ac from the og days till the rpg has been written brilliantly, connecting every dots but I do understand that not everyone have that much of patience to try and understand such a complex and rich story
i played this for nearly 200 hours at release. i did every main quest, got all the story endings, did all the side quests and errands and explored the entire map. whole time, i was huffing copium because i just couldn't allow myself to admit that the game i spent 60 dollars and all my free time on was actually kind of bad. there are things i really liked about it (voice acting, character customization, side quest variety), but those things just don't outweigh the negatives for me. i'll replay odyssey or origins any day of the week but valhalla is dead to me.
Oh boi you sound like myself lmao. I bought the gold edition cuz even tho i knew the game was not gonna be a true assassin's creed game, I'd just finished watching Vikings tv show and man was i stoked to play a viking game! And all throughout my playthrough i was high on copium constantly telling myself that it gets better lol. Completing most everything in the game took me 220+ and i never stopped hating myself for that act of masochism 😂
they brought in the new system of combat becuase it extends the game by requiring you to have certain levels of gear to kill enemies in a decent time, however with valhalla they massively reduced this aspect and so hopefully with the next one they just remove it entirely.
the problem with this game is not the game itself. It was because they tagged the name "Assassin Creed" into it. It was forces to fit in into the Assassin universe because of that tag. i just wish there would be a game contribute toward the Viking era like Skyrim but more toward Viking
Valhalla is probably only AC game which connected other assasin creed games into it and revealed deeper their stories. Stealth game is also very good in Valhalla after you get enough abilities and skills, so its very much AC game.
Dunno how much this has to do with assassins but if you think about it as a viking action rpg it seemed pretty fun, tried it for a few hours last night
The only issue i had with the game was completing the last tomb because an object got stuck. Overall i really liked it maybe a bit long if you want to complete 100% but definitely a good game
Also the stealth in ac valhalla is great only if you are skilled enough to stay undetected and know how to use the special adrenaline abilities to the advantage of stealth. So for people who complain that stealth is non existent in this game are basically people aren't skilled enough. Initially I had the same complaint but with time it grew on me and now I know exactly how to use the raven to know where the targets are and study the environment to take down the enemies, use of smoke, berserker, poison arrows, distracting enemies with raven or playing dead ability. If you complain that you are bad in ac valhalla then just know that you aren't made for games like the new hitman series. In the end I'm just gonna say that grow up and try to enjoy things the way they are, when you are trying something new, be unbiased and give it a go and love your efforts you put in your videos ❤.
Great points. Im glad someone recognizes that you can actually do stealth in this game. I will say when i played unity i felt that was a little better but that game is catered towards stealth. I totally agree though when you started using other abilities and armors and weapons in terms of stealth it challenges you more-so. One of the problems is that players got used to dual axes and raven armor for most of the game, and never attempted to try new stuff.
Sorry for the 4 month late reply but you're partially correct. Stealth is _mostly_ viable in the game but there are plenty of times when the game either forces you out of stealth for no reason other than "story" (even if it doesn't actually make any story sense to run in blindly) or lets you stealth but discourages it. That being said - I don't disgree with you BUT this game on release was a different story. Stealth was not very viable due to enemies spotting you through walls, sometimes from miles away and you had 0 reaction time if you started to get spotted. It has since been improved quite a bit but you're still gimped in comparision to previous games in the series as you lack a lot of tools available we used to have. Also don't say people are just not skilled enough at the stealth and that's why they say it's bad. There are some damn good stealth players (some particular youtubers come to mind) that hate Valhalla's stealth system for a good number of reasons. Them being "unskilled" isn't one of them. Turning to insults to dismiss people's opinion isn't a good look on anyone. P.s I also don't like Odyssey's & Valhalla's "adrenaline" system (at least for stealth) and would much rather have actual tools and stuff, but that's quite subjective.
I’ve put in about 250 hrs in Valhalla still trying to 100% it. I only have problems with the reoccurring execution animations escoecially on the big guys that you choke. It wastes a TON of time when you’re trying to do things like the forgotten saga runs
I just started playing since a week ago and I'm at Ragnar's old base and I got to tell you I think you just got super unlucky with the bugs because I haven't encouter one crazy bugs like the ones we see in your vid... Unless one year later they still patched some stuff?? I mean if that's the case the case its just crazy Valhalla been released already 4 years ago... I don't think it would take this long to fix one of the biggest title... Anyway that being said, Im truly enjoying the game, it's just fun. The graphics are amazing and the sounds too. The environment is really fun to explore. Gameplay wise I agree it feels clunky at time and the combat kinda sucks but I guess with the houndreds of abilities you can unluck the gameplay will gradually gets better? I hope so... I got the ultimate edition that came with all the DLCs like a year ago under 25$ just never had the time to play it. For that price it's really hard to be disapointed when for the same price you can buy just one fortnite skin, let that sink in... But I can see why a lot of people were disapointed about the game espcially if one bought it full price. But then, anyone in this day and age who still preoder video games kinda deserves the bad product they'll get. If anyone reads my ramble and you want to play Valhalla but you're not sure because of all the bad reviews, don't listen to them, the game is really fun and if you just want a huge single player campaign that will last for at least couple months get this game, it's really immersive, BUT at one condition just get the game at least at 75% off I got the ulitmate edition for under 25$ (I had that super gamepass deal I think it was like 90% off). anyway just get it while on sale that way there's zero chances you'll be disapointed, 25$ these day = ONE useless fortnite skin or you can get a full next gen experience and a game that you'll still be able to play when the severs shutdown... Gaming mentality is so backward if we really think about it. Meanhwile I do agree Ubisoft is getting extrmely bad but then prime exemple is fortnite making billions and selling ONE skin for 25$ yet people think it's ''worth it'' but buying a brand new game for the same price is not worth it? Some humans.......
Valhalla has all the stealthyness of other AC games once you get out of Norway especially. You start off rough at assassinations which makes sense story wise. Its cool because the further you go the more effective you become at it and start assassinating even the bigger guys. The combat also gets a lot better later on as you level and unlock more abilities and levelling skills. Also once you start nailing hitting weak spots with your bow its really satisfying. I think some AC games before had cool looking fluid fighting that just kinda felt op and like it was happening through autopilot. This game actually has more skill expression I feel.
Just started giving it another shot. Going in with the mindset of it being a random viking rpg makes it much better, the fact that they just slapped the assassins creed title on it is really what disappoints me. They could have made this a new ip or it’s own standalone thing at it would be better, because it truly does not feel like an AC game
I pre-ordered this game and just can't quite get into this game. No matter how many times I try and want to like this game I just get bored. They didn't surprise me at all with this one. Really wanted to like this game. Never finished it
Heyo, been watching your videos for a while, thanks for constantly keeping me entertained. I just wanted to comment to say putting Ragnar Lothbrok specifically into this games thumbail is genius! Love his character😁👌
I played like over 100 hours in this game exploring most of the map and doing most of the sidequests, couldn’t be a bigger waste of time trying to find something I could actually praise the game for, of which there is only a couple, such as the authentic Viking feeling with the music done by Einar Selvik and Jesper Kyd, that alone made playing somewhat bearable. I agree that if this game didn’t have the AC name attached to it and was it’s own IP it would probably be better if they went full-on into the Viking fantasy, but Ubisoft needs to make money so they slap the AC name on it and ship an unrefined, unpolished, and unenjoyable game.
They put most of the best weapons beyond their pay wall and make resources really hard to come by so people will lose patience and buy stuff to make it more enjoyable.
man its nice to hear someone talk about how i feel with regards to valhallas combat. it killed the game for me, couldnt enjoy it. Since theyve turned the games into RPG's its ruined the whole experience i was really hoping they were going back to there roots with valhalla but clearly not imagine this game with the old fighting style but with the raw, visceral brutal combat of vikings... it would have been insane but yea... hopefully we get a good viking game one day from some other studio
As a Viking game Valhalla is great, just like for instance black flag is a great pirate game. If every asc was all about assassins it would get very repetitive. The way they switch it up every assassins creed & do new locations with different characters or lores. They can really expand any direction they desire, ensuring they keep their players entertained.
I swear, the combat in Dark Souls - which was released in 2011 - is IMMENSELY smoother and better-looking than the one in Valhalla. 2020, sweet Christ, they had the means to make it look good and they didn't.
Im subscribing to this guy. Funny guy + accurate review. I love all AC series. If it's AC that let's you feel like an assasin, I'll go for it for sure. Love the cloak system.
I'm still questioning why Ubi doesn't make animations as fluid as that of For Honor's and Wildlands on their AC Games. I remember it being present on of the AC games and just once. AC3. You know the feeling when controlling Connor and when you change directions it feels and actually looks that he doesn't want to stop? That. Ubi is trolling at this point ig

dude this game has some impressive abilities you can use to mix it up, however if you play this game you need to approach it the right way, i would advice to not stick with using same weapons for too long or it could get boring especially if combat is important for you, but switch them often and you will be fine. there are actually many different finisher animations in this game the problem is some of the weapons only have 1 or 2 different ones and it also depends from which direction you perform them front finishers are different from rear finishers or finishers from the side it´s weird i know. the guy in this vid does not explain it detailed enough for the best experience

I actually didn’t understand what i was supposed to do , and i got stuck and confused on certain story missions. After i finally figured it out and understood how to progress, my second play through was vastly more enjoyable, and its a fun viking game. It really was a love hate relationship.
It's still an assassin's Creed game, their group of assassin's were worldwide just like the order, so it's not crazy to see a viking get roped in that's what made the game cool cause in my opinion this is the best one so far, the old ones were kinda boring, only thing I miss is not being able to assassinate entire groups
Bruh said "just make it a viking game"my dude, it IS. It's not gonna be the same shit as original AC when it's a viking game. Stop expecting the same old shit and enjoy the Norse barbaric take of war
Exactly. It still also ties in with the overall story without assassins. You’d think these “fans” would’ve realized by now that it’s not just about assassins, despite the title
This game made me do stealth. Not because I want to be a stealthy assassin, but because I don't want to fight the spongy enemies using the same 5 animations.
First time around playing AC Valhalla, i loved it, 2nd time around found it rather repetitive, apart from growing your settlements and raids, it's very tedious.
I absolutely love this game one of my favourites the only thing i don't really like about this game is that the colours of the word are too dark compared to ac odyssey and origins i just wish it had more colour because it hurts my eyes sometimes
I had Assassin's Creed-fatigue at first. It's not that bad a game with tempered expectations. This isn't what AC2 and Black Flag were for their time - it won't blow you away. Beautiful visuals, but that's to be expected of a modern AAA release in a new generation.
this game would’ve been so much cooler if each character didn’t look like they just stepped off the set of Vikings and actually tried to at least look period accurate.
I´ve played every AC game except for this one, My favourite is odyssey. I feel like all the ac games are too short, I played it when it came out and started recently to play it again but with Nightmare difficulty (Platinum Trophy hunting) I´ve always loved the stealthy experience. This game should not bear the tittle of ac, Its not climbing/sneaky game. I´m excited for the upcoming ac Mirage tho. Hope they finish it for once
This one was too long and got very repetitive in my opinion. Most of the side missions were similar as well. The stealth feels rushed and kind of an after thought it much of the game.

@@Stalker950-l3x if you enjoyed it then I dont care, but then you havent played that much the older ac games, cuz even ubi said that the stealth was not good; Although stealth was somewhat included in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, the features were minimal and felt forced. This is from the developers self, (not the publisher aka ubi)
This is a really fun game. I've been shit talking this game a lot until I decided to give it a second chance. Now it's one of my favorite. PS the bugs and glitches in this game is insane.
Give it a shot and trust me you won't regret it. Most of them don't pay attention to the lore of ac even while making vids and my advise is trying to use stealth abilities which you unlock by free roaming as much as possible. You have to take time and be creative with your kills so if you're up for the challenge then this game is beautiful. My favorite was ac 4 black flag, then origins and now Valhalla and I do like Odyssey as well
i think it’s worth it. people who don’t like it probably have their reasons but i always thought it was a great game. i’ve beat the game and all the DLCs and now i’m trying to 100% it, but just taking my time not in a rush to beat it. i’ve played it off and on since it’s released and it’s been a great time.
Valhalla is a good game if you don’t think as AC game and it’s a slow burn type of game that you play for a short session for multiple months. Basically it’s a game for grown up who just wanna chill and not to be all up in the gaming mantra
What keeps me coming back to AC Valhalla is that it’s a Viking game and the only one so far (until SuckerPunch steps up and make a better one then Ubi) that’s literally it. I like the double weapons, clothes, boats, etc but the combat is what kills me. It’s mad boring and repetitive and there are no combo options. Just spam one button 8 times and the enemy dead🤦♂️
Its a good standalone viking game, and honestly the Norse-gods as ISU makes it so much more interesting as well. And the serious tone makes the stories more interesting, odyssey was wayyyy too childish and Marvel-movie like.
Agreed. I'm the sort of person that gets bored of games quickly so any game that can make me put 50 hours+ into it is a special game. Valhalla may have some classic ubisoft tropes but it's still a great game and not everything has to be the last of us. Sometimes I just wanna be a viking and raid a castle
Well UK cant compete with ancient greek but the sheer power of Combat makes it very enjoyable. Actually i hope for an AC RPG, that goes back in times of the northman ancestors. The northern german tripes. They fought the same way. Fearless and with all their body. 1.80m and ~90kilo vs 1.30m and 70kilos with armor:D To play that slaughter must be pure joy.
the game is really good tho, you can’t see is as an assassins creed game tbh, it doesn’t feel like it is so i just see it as an ubisoft original viking game
The only way I found this assassins creed game fun was when I bought the double xp and coins because the skill sets are what give you that lovely combat ability stealth and arrow function with some cool moves
This game is 80% filler trash but that other 20% is so good it keeps me wanting to play it, yet I can’t really explain what exactly makes it good or even what it is exactly. Such a weird feeling.
What is the best Assassins Creed game?
Ac black flag
Assassins Creed Brotherhood
Black flag ofc
AC:3 is the one I remember playing the most as a little kid because of Smosh’s old rap song based on the game
AC 2 and AC Brotherhood were the best in term of story and setting but AC Black flag was the best for the shear fun of being a pirate in the Caribbean

I had a similar opinion my first go around. But if you grind out the beginning and unlock abilities. The combat improves, and the story gets SO GOOD.. The Vinland story line had me leaping out of my chair 💯👏
That’s what I was thinking
vinland was pretty good but it was super short too, i got in, killed gjorm the first time i saw him and left pretty underwhelmed, the ending cutscene with the whole tribe and handing off the apple was very sweet though
@boristhedonk it was just the entire tie-in that had me shook, 😄 like I knew they could have done it, and should have done it, but I'm surprised they DID do it. Because like EA would have fumbled that shit so hard 😅
The game was never that good to be leaping out the chair honestly. Not to mention the story is HELLA repetitive
@@paynedanger1925jus got to Vinland last night and holy shit, this game is huge. Trying to get the entire Iroquois set before I kill Gorm
Honestly I get how ppl don't like how this is a viking a assassin's creed game but we had a pirate one and I don't think pirate's were really stealthy assassin so the viking thing kinda grew on me the only thing I wish they had was more assassin content for gameplay and story
exactly this
Yea, but you had the pirate one with the same stealth and combat system as the ones before, it was good and fluid, I wouldnt mind if it had the same system as the older ones, not the arcade rpg style game
Exactly they act like blackflag wasn’t a pirate assassins creed game. I personally don’t like blackflag at all.
@@jordy1278there is nothing wrong with the rpg style if done right origins proves that
@@jamesjohn8740Right?!
The foundation is clearly there, just spend some more time polishing the game, take yourself more seriously as narrative driven title and we could've had something special.
they did make something special they made the most money off this game i’m pretty certain right…?
Also lower the amount of armor placed in the store several should have been in game.
@@Hexotoxyn well said and agreed i understood this having fully played valhalla.

What settings do you turn on to make it a more immersive Viking game?
I was just looking for a video to see if valhalla was worth buying with the steam sale and I'm so glad I discovered your channel this was a great and funny video! def gonna check out your other vids, also this games not like an ac game but I will still probs get it since it looks like a cool viking game
I love AC Revelations specifically with how you could do missions with your assasins and Train them up to be a higher rank and could command them if only a newer version with that feature but like they are ai that can follow you around when you want them to and then vanish when you don’t want them following you making many options to like idk send to attack certin units cause a distraction and so on so many opportunities
Need to be brought back 100%
@@itsventt fr
I had no idea what the story was about, but this actually sounds kind of cool
The game is definitely worth playing even in 2023 - im having an amazing time and think its the best AC ive played since AC2

i played this for nearly 200 hours at release. i did every main quest, got all the story endings, did all the side quests and errands and explored the entire map. whole time, i was huffing copium because i just couldn't allow myself to admit that the game i spent 60 dollars and all my free time on was actually kind of bad. there are things i really liked about it (voice acting, character customization, side quest variety), but those things just don't outweigh the negatives for me. i'll replay odyssey or origins any day of the week but valhalla is dead to me.
@Fire Typhoon it's such a shame too. i was also a fan of that show and viking history in general. we were both played bro.
Glad I read your comments . I downloaded for free after enjoying oddysey . I'd rather put in the time playing something different
I mean to be fair your right but I’d rather play through ac Valhalla then go through ac odyssey’s terrible leveling system again
100% bro im play all ac series… but valhalla lame
they brought in the new system of combat becuase it extends the game by requiring you to have certain levels of gear to kill enemies in a decent time, however with valhalla they massively reduced this aspect and so hopefully with the next one they just remove it entirely.
Odyssey fire attacks and skills and powers were amazing to me. Combat was much better.
the problem with this game is not the game itself.
By the way, I believe there’s a setting where you can put the hood on while in combat as well!
Best advice is to play this as a Viking game, not assassin game
Love the dual axes flailing like an elementary school fighter
It looks so jank lol
Dunno how much this has to do with assassins but if you think about it as a viking action rpg it seemed pretty fun, tried it for a few hours last night
Started watching this guy 2 days ago and just realized he had 11k subs was expecting a couple 100k. War crimes.
I appreciate the support 💪

Why would you torture yourself that way
@@BerticusBersht he enjoys it?
i agree with the choking animations they are so annoying when they happen too often. i usually finish them off with a arrow just to avoid them lol
If you look at the game as a epic Viking adventure instead of a bad assasin game it’s so good
Good on you. A far better game than most make it out to be.
No! The game is actually overrated because ppl love vikings
@redfoofan4618 And it's the most multicultural game in the franchise by far.

If anyone reads my ramble and you want to play Valhalla but you're not sure because of all the bad reviews, don't listen to them, the game is really fun and if you just want a huge single player campaign that will last for at least couple months get this game, it's really immersive, BUT at one condition just get the game at least at 75% off I got the ulitmate edition for under 25$ (I had that super gamepass deal I think it was like 90% off). anyway just get it while on sale that way there's zero chances you'll be disapointed,
25$ these day = ONE useless fortnite skin or you can get a full next gen experience and a game that you'll still be able to play when the severs shutdown...
But it’s so integrated into the ac lore especially with its story
deciding to give it another shot and then blaming the title is so contradicting yourself lol

I pre-ordered this game and just can't quite get into this game. No matter how many times I try and want to like this game I just get bored. They didn't surprise me at all with this one. Really wanted to like this game. Never finished it
The combat system isn’t boring. You have to find books of power to learn different moves. It’s a great game but not as good as odyssey
Heyo, been watching your videos for a while, thanks for constantly keeping me entertained. I just wanted to comment to say putting Ragnar Lothbrok specifically into this games thumbail is genius! Love his character😁👌
Thanks for the support bro 💪 and Ragnar is one of the favorite characters from any show so I had to
This game would’ve been better with Ghost of Tsushima’s combat techniques!!
exactly! if only ubisoft could ever realise this!
They put most of the best weapons beyond their pay wall and make resources really hard to come by so people will lose patience and buy stuff to make it more enjoyable.
dude randomly asks guys to give him their "hidden blade"
man its nice to hear someone talk about how i feel with regards to valhallas combat. it killed the game for me, couldnt enjoy it. Since theyve turned the games into RPG's its ruined the whole experience
i was really hoping they were going back to there roots with valhalla but clearly not
imagine this game with the old fighting style but with the raw, visceral brutal combat of vikings... it would have been insane
but yea... hopefully we get a good viking game one day from some other studio

This game has an indentity crisis
As a Viking game Valhalla is great, just like for instance black flag is a great pirate game. If every asc was all about assassins it would get very repetitive. The way they switch it up every assassins creed & do new locations with different characters or lores. They can really expand any direction they desire, ensuring they keep their players entertained.

I'm still questioning why Ubi doesn't make animations as fluid as that of For Honor's and Wildlands on their AC Games. I remember it being present on of the AC games and just once. AC3. To each his own... but that's crazy
dude this game has some impressive abilities you can use to mix it up, however if you play this game you need to approach it the right way, i would advice to not stick with using same weapons for too long or it could get boring especially if combat is important for you, but switch them often and you will be fine. there are actually many different finisher animations in this game the problem is some of the weapons only have 1 or 2 different ones and it also depends from which direction you perform them front finishers are different from rear finishers or finishers from the side it´s weird i know. the guy in this vid does not explain it detailed enough for the best experience
The guy that made this video is a major crybaby. you may end up loving the game, maybe give it a chance.

Valhalla just needs a mod that makes all the random story arcs into side content and it will be a top tier ac game, not just of the rpg era.

Exactly. It still also ties in with the overall story without assassins. You’d think these “fans” would’ve realized by now that it’s not just about assassins, despite the title
This game made me do stealth. Not because I want to be a stealthy assassin, but because I don't want to fight the spongy enemies using the same 5 animations.
The combat gets better and more complex the more you play the game.
seriously, if they took assassins creed out of the name the game is instantly better. could even have it in the same world and everything

As a big fan of anything Viking I feel the exact opposite as you. I absolutely love the dark and gloomy scenery depicted in a lot of Norse imagery.

You gotta be less friendly with that stun finisher, instead just finish with a heavy attack.
I had Assassin's Creed-fatigue at first. It's not that bad a game with tempered expectations. This isn't what AC2 and Black Flag were for their time - it won't blow you away. Beautiful visuals, but that's to be expected of a modern AAA release in a new generation.
Idc what anyone says this game good ash
I'm absolutely loving this game, and that's coming from a veteran to the series.
I like Unity's combat a lot, it's way more fun and actually challenging.

this game would’ve been so much cooler if each character didn’t look like they just stepped off the set of Vikings and actually tried to at least look period accurate.
This literally is a climbing/sneaky game lmao.

A lot of enjoyment comes from the amazing environment and visuals .
Its a good standalone viking game, and honestly the Norse-gods as ISU makes it so much more interesting as well. And the serious tone makes the stories more interesting, odyssey was wayyyy too childish and Marvel-movie like.
also combat is miles better than odyssey. Its satisfying and has way more variety. And doesn't feel like a janky snoozefest
I loved it. My 3rd favourite AC game.
I don't care what anyone says, this game is amazing.
