A little help for anyone that feels parkour is weird. I personally switched controller configs around to be closer to AC4 / UNITY. In the config menu you can also determine if a button has to be held or tapped for an input. I now hold circle to decent, hold x to parkour and my R2 to sprint while doing it just like the classics. It feels like butter now 🥂

I am a huge fan of the series and honestly this game was a huge breath of fresh air.
Yeah a lot of people who haven't tried it are judging the game to harshly. Anyone who's played it agrees that this game is definitely headed in the right direction, not perfect, but in the right direction.

You should definitely play and beat ghost of Tsushima on the hardest difficulty would be a great series to watch.
I'm from Baghdad, to get a game that accurately captures my city and history (and is not about f**kin wars) makes me tear up, because it's completely ignored despite its massive significance whether Baghdad as a city or Mesopotamia as a whole
I only played the opening so far, and I'm just speechless on how well they captured it (although it is much greener IRL since it's situated within the fertile crescent and not in the desert)
FYI: the bearded mask is based on the Mask of Sargon of Akkad, who ruled the same region thousands of years prior. The mask is in the British Museum
I played every entry since 2007 until unity. I just got burnt-out on the series, but this is a perfect entry to pull me back in
the setting and cutscenes are super intimate and i feel like alot of people don't see the cultural value in this game. the history of your birthplace is rich and also the fall of the round city was so tragic. And when you know it makes this game much more immersive.

people may not find it a big deal if a game set in their country if their country is US, Japan, Egypt, or the major countries in Europe.. because the media is saturated with them
However it is a very big deal for us, because the only media representation we get is if it's about the war, and we have so much more than that, from birth of the civilization, Mesopotamian mythologies and history, birth of religions, to the golden medieval age and so much more

Roshan was in Valhalla, she is the character that gives assassination missions / an assassin outfit. It's also a bit weird to see recycled animations 1:1 from valhalla, but it's to be expected if it was planned to be a dlc...

Fun fact: people wonder why basim didnt show more pain when cutting off his finger. When using something seering hot like the red hot knife, it will almsot instantly burn and severe nevers so you will feel mostly i sharp sting but for most the pain is mininal on something like a finger.

@@benmooney7485 i get that but i hate games were the enemies have a bar above the head and you have to hit them 400 times so the bar goes down. I never played AC because it needed skill. I played it because it had cool stories and fights. Not "hard" and boring fights.

I'm a huge AC fan and Mirage isn't bad at all, I just wish it was bigger, sadly it came and went and I'm just ready for the next AC game, hopefully a bigger one in scale.

The moment I saw those torches showed me how low budget and little ubi actually cared about the game even from the start something about it feels off and I’m not sure what it is it just felt unnatural. All they did was nerf combat and buff stealth. Im sorry but if your heavy and light are connected to one button and I have to sit there and wait to parry its not it.But yk everyone’s got there opinions. And me well I’m going back to origins

i went back to origins instead, lmfao. mirage price here is 32 usd with 20 % discount applied already using 100 ubi coin. ridiculous price for a 15 hours game for its story and 23 hours for platinum by a casual player. and its a dlc for valhalla. if its 10 usd it would make sense.
