    I am so glad that the S6 lite is even compared to the more expensive iPad. It honestly speaks mega value for me with the Samsung product. I just ordered the new Samsung S6 lite for $309 CAD which I feel like is an amazing deal that simply cant be beat at the moment.

    I really wish Samsung would move away from 16 : 9 screens. It's great for movies but for reading, typing (landscape), drawing and note-taking a slightly wider screen is preferable.

      samsung actually did have 4:3 ration screens (take a look at s3 etc) but apple was anal about that, that start legal dispute about whole thing, which imo samsung shouldn't budge. how can you "patent" a ratio, ff sake?? but apple does what aplle does..
      i guess samsung just didn't want hassle anymore and went with 16:9 screens, since majority of people use them for watching content, in the end, let be honest there..

      @@izoyt Especially when that aspect ratio is basically what paper is. Even adopting the aspect ratio of A4 paper would be fine.

      @@izoyt - I guess the real reason is Samsung tablets are still using Android OS that is still made for Smartphones, unlike IPad which has their own dedicated IPad IOS. Since most Android phones tend to have more Longer proportion, making the Samsung Tablets closer to it in proportion would lessen any problems with operations.
      With Google now beginning to release their own Android tablets, there’s big possibility they would be making a dedicated Android Tablet OS.

      @@inisipisTV nope, imo this is nothing to do with android, but everything with apple bit_hin, lawsuits etc. android is perfectly capable of driving any graphic , video or 3d app. it was only because (imo) major creative app developers did have exclusive contracts to apple, i guess. now they slowly adopting android market, which they could perfectly fine from start, since it is huge market and money is there. sorry, i don't buy that ios optimised bs. i have both and only reason because of owning ipad is simple fact, apps that i need weren't available in that time on android (by reasons, mentioned earlier). if i would be buying now, i would ga with android tablet no question asked, mainly because ti has normal file system without some idiotic restrictions. i would prefer more squared ratio, but as i mentioned, it is again more political than technical reason (and probably by some in house settlement, since samsung providing oled screens to apple, or at least it has till recently. don't buy everything they hyping by youtube etc.

      @@izoyt where do you get your info from buddy? Been googling looking for this and can’t find anywhere where apple tried to sue someone for using the 4:3 aspect ratio 😂😂😂
      Samsung probably did their research and found this to be the desirable size as a lot of people but their tablet for watching movies and playing games. Games are better on a wider screen.
      I also agree it could be an android thing, but phones these days are wider aspect ratio than 16:9 I think thy are 21:10 or something crazy like that. Samsung tabs are usually 16:10
      I think Someone at Samsung made a call on their research and said, that’s the aspect ratio that sells and it’s also a way to differentiate from apple and be more consumption friendly.

    This was bought to replace an old Lenovo tablet which was essentially too sluggish to cope with modern websites. th-cam.com/users/postUgkxz4qYZoyAOb_hq_UbaKI6AsZX0FnoFm-U This tablet is fast, has a very clear display with built in optional eye comfort shield, great sound with Dolby Atmos, split screen option and numerous tweaks that I've not yet explored. I've plugged a wireless receiver into the i/o socket to connect a mouse if I need it and a bluetooth keyboard works fine - unlike the Lenevo which somehow would often garble the input. Battery life seems good. In short I'm very pleased with it

    I understand that this comparation is abt some cheap, affordable tablets, but the S6 lite is cheaper that de iPad and it has quite the feauters. In my counyry, the S6 lite, with 126gb is 300€ with SD card port and the iPad10 is 400€ ,64gb without the SD port. Those are quitr different tablets. Not to mention, iPad doesn't come with the pen. So... At the price of the iPad +150€ you cand buy a samsung tab s7 or s8 with more feauter and clearly more space.

    I hate that the drawing experience seems overall better on the limited and overpriced apple ecosystem. I've made the switch permanently back to android after owning several ipads over the years and i find myself missing the aspect ratio and tapered apple pencil tip
    But at the same time, wacom pen tech is more aftermarket customizable, i get much better direct control over files on android and infinite painter has started to become a true and direct competitor to procreate, making android more viable
    If samsung would release a tablet aimed specifically at artists, i think it would be a hit. Give us a 9 or 10 inch device with a 3:2 aspect ratio, decent mid range processor, textured matte screen, a thick pen with a hard nib instead of a rubber one and, this is optional, DEX usage over usb c/hdmi for connecting to larger pen displays. Call it the galaxy Easel or Galaxy Canvas or something
    Even just a 3:2 aspect ratio with a bigger pen would be a massive step in the right direction

    • @teohontech7141
      @teohontech7141  ปีที่แล้ว
