    My diet I changed to eating meat only at dinner. I air fry instead of frying.. I can't do coconut products, butter, or Kefir. It took my LDL to 179. I do a Smoothie on most days. My Smoothie consists of organic frozen (kale cubes, blueberries, strawberries, avocados), uncooked oatmeal, hemp seeds,,chia seeds, cacao, 1/2 serving size of Vega Protein and Greens Protein powder, and Spring water. I am at my best Cholesterol in over 24 years. I am now at Total 158. HDL 70, LDL 81, TRIG 39. I have never had a LDL under 100. For Breakfast, I eat steel cut oatmeal with Benecol Plant Stanol spread and drink a glass of organic soy milk about 3 times a week. I eat beans once or twice a week. I am ecstatic about my numbers.

    I lowered my cholesterol in 6 months by stopping eating all foods that contain cholesterol, especially cheese. Also losing weight comes easily not eating cholesterol foods and doing intermittent eating, very small breakfast, no lunch, and larger dinner with no food after 10pm and gentle exercises. Also lowered my blood pressure significantly.

      Get yourself tested if you developed high cholesterol at such a young age. I also developed it around 25 years of age. It turned out to be familial hypercholesterolemia in my case. I was able to reduce around 15% with the dietary methods and exercise but my levels were so high that I had to take statins. There was no way around it.

    My First thought of you was, what a physical phorm of perfection. My Second thought was what a well articulated specimen (as if you also majored in journalism or literature).
    These two things distracted me from your message until you said, "Genetics Load the Gun, Lifestyle Pulls the Trigger" (What a PROFOUND statement). As much reading as I do, I don't know how I missed that quote.
    That quote snapped me out my trance, and I started listening to (not hearing) your content; which brings be to your most important attribute: knowledge & intelligence. You Are The Total Package (brains, beauty, bronze (more than likely).

    One commentator here brought up a very interesting and good point. Her Sister in law weighs only 120 lbs yet has high cholesterol and yet we are told to lose 5% body fat or more to help lower cholesterol... so what does that indicate in terms of high cholesterol? Is there then another approach if a person is NOT overweight? I would be very interested to know.
    As well... can high cholesterol cause gallstones, as they are made up of cholesterol. This was not mentioned, and would seem important to know about when it comes to the topic. Thank you.

      Hi! Thank you for bringing up these points, as there is but so much I can talk about in such a short video. You can ABSOLUTELY be at a healthy weight and have high cholesterol (and even high blood pressure). Being overweight is not the only risk factor for high cholesterol. Also, high cholesterol can cause high gallstone concentrations AND gallstones can cause high cholesterol. I know, science is so confusing and it's really difficult to find the "root cause" even though we try our best to get pretty close. Hopefully this helps! If this content speaks to you, hit that subscribe button for more. Exciting update: new video arriving this week! 🌟🍏

    This is so interesting, and I am so grateful that this video is so easy to understand. My cholesterol was really bad, but when I went on a mostly plant based diet, with meat (usually chicken) only 2x a week, my cholesterol dropped. After I decreased he tofu meals (despite all my creativity with finding and adapting tofu recipes), I got bored and haven’t been using as much tofu as the main part of my evening meals. Just had bloodwork and found out that in these five months, my cholesterol went up 20 mg/dl.
    I am taking an active role now in changing my diet and to exercise more. Also,want to mention that we only buy organic, non-GMO tofu and soy milk.

      I highly recommend you look into the new research out there on cholesterol. They have found high cholesterol is not an issue till after it is over 200 now. Now showing anything under 100 is now considered deadly. I learned this from Dr. Ken Berry here also on youtube. He even puts all the research in his notes so you can look up all the info yourself and digest it. He also explains how all this research is done and if it was a good or bad study. A lot of these studies are just someone asking someone what they had for lunch 6 months ago.....you really think we should trust that study....I'd never stake my life on someone 6 months ago memory. I can tell ya I follow Dr Ken Berry to a T cause my doc wanted me on statin, after 3 month she said glad to see you taking your statins. I said "I'm not taking them never even filled the prescription" Her mouth hit the floor and then asked what I was doing. Told her I followed everything Dr. Ken Berry told me. She no longer prescribes statins she prescribes Dr Ken Berry....been 3 yrs and she is so happy that she has taken almost every single patient off of statin now. Show's you really need to do your research. Most these people are trained by the same people poisoning you. You really think they training the nutritionist or doctor to make you healthy?...Pharma would be broke if they did that. I also follow Dr Shawn Baker, Dr Kiltz, Dr Anthony Chaffee just to name a few other for you to look into. Good luck, plz do the research for your health.

      @@nourishcenter If they body makes cholesterol all on it own why would you think not eating food would stop the body from making the cholesterol at all? Cholesterol is not an essential nutrient according to the FDA. Which means the body has no need of food to make this nutrient. Which then mean it don't matter what food you give the body it will make as much cholesterol it need to repair the body. The more cholesterol your body make the more damage you have in the body. You really should go have a nice chat with Dr Ken Berry. I think you will find it very beneficial to yourself. I would think you would be very concerned about giving bad info that is no longer supported by Medical handbook. Dr. Berry will tell ya the name of the Medical Journal and what page it is on. Cholesterol isn’t necessarily bad and it doesn’t always lead to heart attack or stroke. Hdl to triglyceride ratio is a better way to tell if you are in danger.

    • @nourishcenter
      @nourishcenter  ปีที่แล้ว +5

      You're absolutely right! 🌟 Cholesterol isn't inherently bad; in fact, our bodies need it for various functions. What's crucial is the balance and the type of cholesterol in your bloodstream. The HDL (high-density lipoprotein) to triglyceride ratio is indeed a valuable indicator of heart health. Higher levels of HDL, often referred to as "good" cholesterol, can help reduce the risk of heart disease, while lower levels of triglycerides are associated with a lower risk as well. High LDL should be avoided. It's essential to focus on the overall lipid profile and work with healthcare professionals to assess your heart disease risk accurately. Lifestyle factors like a healthy diet, exercise, and avoiding smoking play a significant role in maintaining a favorable cholesterol balance and heart health. 💓🍏🏃‍♀️

      Hello Freddy! You're welcome! I'm glad you found the information informative. When it comes to managing LDL cholesterol, it's essential to work closely with a healthcare professional.There isn't a direct "test" to monitor LDL cholesterol, but regular blood tests, known as lipid panels, can measure your cholesterol levels, including LDL. Based on these results, your healthcare provider can help you create a plan to lower LDL if it's too high. Monitoring your cholesterol levels over time will allow you to track your progress and make any necessary adjustments. Let me know if you have any other questions! :)

And yes I am aware about genetics and all . My parents do not have that issue so it might have been someone along the family tree who I never met. Get okra wash thoroughly. then cut into pieces then pour your drinking water and allow to soak for about 4 hours then drink. That's what I am doing now . The glue substance binds the cholesterol in the gut and then it is eliminated in poop.

Also w kidney stones there are certain nuts, beans [ things high in oxalates ], so it makes it difficult for me to find things I can eat ... I also have hereditary high cholesterol and am statin resistant... plan to try the plant sterols. Thank you for this video

    • @nourishcenter
      @nourishcenter  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      You're welcome! I'm glad you found the video helpful. When it comes to soy and thyroid health, there has been some debate. Soy contains compounds called goitrogens, which can interfere with thyroid function in HIGH amounts. However, moderate consumption of soy foods is generally considered safe for individuals with hypothyroidism. COOKING soy can reduce the goitrogenic effects.Regarding kidney stones and oxalates, it's true that certain foods like nuts and beans are higher in oxalates, which can contribute to kidney stone formation (if you are prone to it). Plant sterols can be a beneficial addition to help manage hereditary high cholesterol, especially if you're statin-resistant, because they work by reducing the ABSORPTION of dietary cholesterol in the intestines. Consulting with YOUR doctor or dietitian can help you create a personalized plan that addresses your hypothyroidism, kidney stones, and high cholesterol concerns effectively. Hope this helps! 🌿👩‍⚕️🍽️

If you're interested in learning more about epigenetics, I recommend checking out resources like 'The Epigenetics Revolution' by Nessa Carey or "Epigentics: How Our Environment Shapes Our Genes" by Richard Francis(love this one!). The book by Francis is what I was referring to in the video and he cites a lot of research in it. Remember, it's always worth considering how our lifestyle choices can positively impact our health. Encouraging your husband to make dietary adjustments and adopt healthier habits may be beneficial in managing his conditions. Wishing you both the best on your health journeys!

      ……. May this message richly bless you and yours as it has bless me.
      Many profess believers of Jesus Christ believe that the fourth commandment to keep the Sabbath day holy was nailed to the cross and that we no longer have to keep it, while still embracing the other nine commands. Do you believe this?
      Which one or ones of the Ten Commandments do Jesus wants us to keep and obey?
      The Sabbath command is not only to be kept but it is to be calculated by the Time/calendar God ordained in the beginning of creation, Genesis 1:14. The sun, moon and stars are God’s True Time/calendar not that famous Gregorian calendar hanging on our walls in our houses.
      This split in God’s law must be repaired!! All of God’s laws, statutes, judgments and testimonies are just and true! We must do things God’s way or else we will be worshipping him in vain. There will be no good reward.
      God could possibly allow the Leaders of this world to enforce some type of Sabbath test.
      Today, there are Sabbath laws/blue laws/Sunday laws on government books.
      The Gregorian Calendar is not true time. God’s months start with the new moon day. Read 1 Samuel 20. The Gregorian calendar do not start its months with the new moon day. So then, how can Saturday, Sunday, etc. be the true Sabbath?
      The beast in Daniel 7:25 only thought to change time on paper, by inventing his own time/calendar. For he could not truly change time because it sits in the heavens where no man can tamper with it, the sun moon and stars.
      The woman in Revelation 12 is the true church. She is surrounded by the sun, moon and stars, the lights in heaven, the signs. The true church keeps God’s Sabbath by the lights in heaven. When she is in the wilderness, she will not be using a pocket Gregorian calendar. She will calculate her Sabbaths by the signs above.
      We who now keep Sabbath by God’s Time are fully aware that we do not have all the light on this precious truth. Many of us do not yet completely understand how the stars play their role in God’s Calendar., ‘etc.
      But, if we are counted worthy to be amongst the just, we are comforted because the Bible says that, “ The path of the just is as a shining light, that shineth more and more unto the perfect day.” There is more light to come on this subject. Keep moving forward.
      Also, we cannot look to the people occupying the land of Israel today to say that they are keeping the correct Sabbath. Today, there is much controversy about who are the true children of Israel. The true Kids of Jacob are still scattered throughout the nations and still are being hated, despised and persecuted. Jesus said that there are people who say that they are Jews, but are not, but are the synagogue of Satan. Believe the WORD OF GOD above any nation of people!!!
      The true Sabbath is calculated by the sun, moon and stars. So, do your research on what you have read in this letter.
      This is how I have been taught to keep Sabbath by the lights in heaven.
      The first week is, the new moon day, then the six work days and then Sabbath.
      Week 2, 3, and 4 is, six work days and then Sabbath. There is never, ever, ever 5 Sabbaths in God’s months as it sometimes is on the Gregorian calendar!
      The Father has three category of days, the new moon day, the 6 work days and the Sabbath day. Read Ezekiel 46:1-3 and 2 Kings 4:18-23. They never overlaps each other. The new moon will never fall on the Sabbath day or on one of the six work days, etc.
      This information is helpful both now and future because we need to get back to God’s ways and if God should allow man to enforce a “Sabbath Test”, to see if we will keep His Law or no. If such a test is allowed, may we choose wisely.
      Let us seriously repent of our evil ways, stop worshiping other gods, talking about one another, stealing, killing, lying, fornicating, adultery, disobedient to parents, etc., etc., etc.
      Let us seek God, read our bibles, memorize His commandments and do them, For God’s Kingdom is coming!! Repent! Repent! Repent!
      Worship Him that made heaven, earth and sea. This Babylonian system is falling, the Powers in charge are aware of this fact but they cannot stop it. Their time is coming to an end! Our time is coming to an end!
      If any worship the beast and his image and receive his mark, the same shall have no rest day or night and they shall be burnt with fire and brimstone. Revelation 13 and 14. Deuteronomy 5 Isaiah 58:12-14.
      And, furthermore, don’t be deceive concerning the “climate change movement “ and the “pretend care for the poor.” Remember, Judas , the betrayer of Jesus Christ, who claimed to care for the poor? It is true that many common people really do care about the earth and folks. But, not this last day beast system!!
      The Bible unmask this deception. We have already been warned that the last day beast power will “devour the whole earth, and shall thread it down, and break it in pieces” …” and wear out the saints of the most High..”. Satan is the father of lies! Read Daniel 7:23,25
      With the things that are going on in the world today, it appears to me that Revelations 17 is taking place . The nations are giving their power to the beast until God says, enough.
      Also, research the “Seven Noahide Laws.” I have learned that these are Jewish laws taken from their writings. The first law in the “Seven Noahide Laws” forbids idolatry and according to Jewish doctrine, to believe in Jesus Christ, God’s Son, is idolatry and is punishable by death, decapitation. I have also learned that some of the USA presidents have signed proclamations containing the “Seven Noahide Laws”under “Education. Day”. Could these laws be enforced on all nations in the near future? Research and see if these things be truth.
      May The Father of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you all.

    Good day taking fish oil pills can it cause colestural problem?

    • @nourishcenter
      @nourishcenter  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Good questions! You’ll hear me say a lot on this channel these words - “everything in moderation”. While fish oil is commonly taken to lower cholesterol levels, there is SOME evidence that it may actually increase levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) cholesterol, which is sometimes referred to as "bad" cholesterol. However, the increase in LDL cholesterol is generally small and may not outweigh the benefits of taking fish oil - such as its ability to reduce inflammation and lower triglyceride levels.😊

      Anxiety can be one contributing factor to overweight/obesity due to it's affect on the body. But I would say that may not be the ONLY cause from preventing one from losing weight. Weight gain is multifaceted so we have to address weight loss from multiple angles (improve eating habits, walk more, reduce stress, and also tackle any metabolic health issues). In what period of time does it take to lower it by those percentages?

    • @nourishcenter
      @nourishcenter  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      👍 GREAT question! Think about it this way - The time it takes to lower your blood cholesterol levels depends on various factors such as your current levels, overall health status, and dietary and lifestyle habits. 🍽️💪
      Think about...
      How OFTEN you consume foods that could raise/lower your cholesterol.🍔🍎
      How CONSISTENT you are each day..📆📊
      How MUCH of certain foods you are eating..🍽️
      All of this is going to play a role in "how long" it takes to reduce cholesterol by those percentages. As you can see, there isn't a one-size-fits-all answer for this type of question. However, research shows that a gradual and sustained approach to making lifestyle changes can be effective in reducing cholesterol levels over time. Hope this helps!
