As for the European rating. I think they would have to take initiative on the European side to test it, the reason being that AHC is mainly marketing to Asia. Just like FDA approved sunscreens aren't tested/rated in Asia because their target audience is in North America. As a Canadian living abroad, I go by what I see. And what I generally see is very flawless youthful skin among Asians, especially those who take care of their skin.

Oh I see you're using a measuring spoon. There's a video it that compares lotion/cream vs spray vs stick sunscreen under a UV camera. The coverage of the lotion and stick was pretty impressive compared to the spray of you're curious to see. Thanks for this video though!

Do you recommend mixing sunscreens? Like layering two different types of physical sunblocks? Love your accent btw!

Hi, Meowmix, thanks for your question. Well, if layering two different sunscreens with the correct amount each, then you would get a very greasy skin I'm sure. If not using the correct amount of each, you don't really know what factor you get onto the face, though one would assume half and half of two different SPF50s should give the full amount of protection but maybe not, like, there is a lot more chemicals in an SPF50 than in an SPF30 for not much more protection (1%-point) but half SPF50 might not be just SPF25 (I would like to know actually). Finally two different sunscreens could counteract each other, like a mineral base or top mixed with a chemical base or top and the chemicals might degrade much faster than otherwise, as explained in this video here th-cam.com/video/zD-xYUOrC9o/w-d-xo.html and for that reason one should be a little careful with hybrid sunscreens, which I think you asked about earlier.
Bottom line: I would not mix or layer different sunscreens, however, maybe I would top up during a day with a mist sunscreen using the same actives as the one originally used or very similar to, as in using a La Roche-Posay sunscreen and then later their mist on top if I felt it necessary, as their sunscreens in essence usually nowadays are using long lasting filters (but sweat and toweling can remove it, it's difficult...)

Hi Shumila Pervez, thanks for your question. I use La Roche-Posay SPF30 Hydrating Lotion ECO tube, make sure it's the one without Ethylhexyl Salicylate, there are two versions. It is cheap for the amount you get th-cam.com/video/nMP6Dc8uccg/w-d-xo.html
