I want to tell you a information I think you need to know, Wendy from Red Velvet fell from two and a half meters away at the end of the year festival 2019 when she was doing the rehearsal, she was very badly injured, she broke her pelvis, wrist and right cheek, and because of that she did not appear for a whole year to the public because Her preoccupation with her recovery so she only came back in 2021 and wanted to dedicate her album and lyrics to thank the people who have been with her all this time and encourage her and give her the strength to recover quickly so this album is so valuable to Revels I hope you take a look at her album

She had to work on her facial muscles, the muscles that she has created from all her singing. She had to build them up again. Imagine how devastating and difficult a journey that must have been.

Thank you for sweet and kind words and just appreciation for her first ever craft as a soloist. The album was beautiful. No bias, I really think it is one of my favorite ballad albums of all time. Just no skips and it has variety to it! The emotions in her voice, she's a great storyteller. It all felt personal it was touching 😢💙

Wendy's album is so healing
she had an accident in last 2019 where she fell off the stage and broke her pelvis, wrist etc.
The whole of 2020 she was recuperating and she's finally back. This girl and her passion for her craft is really remarkable. I have so much respect and awe for how strong and dedicated she is.

Yes please react to her album💜💜🙏🙏, she said she put a lot of effort into her first album and wanted it to be something that healed people in these difficult times, in this album she showed her love for her fans and music. She really loves to sing and she does it beautifully, she loves what she does so much that when she had her accident she never let go of her hand from the microphone until she got to the hospital, because the doctors took the microphone away from her.🥺
The song started with "lean on my shoulder, you can close your eyes" and ended with "by the time you open your eyes, everything will be fine". ☁️🌙

You see this is what I appreciate about you guys because you appreciate music no matter what the genre is. Obviously it is a big part of your lives that's why all your reactions are just what genuinely your heart and soul speaks which I relate to a lot. It would have been amazing if Wendy watches this she would have been really grateful that you have seen her intentions with this song even if you guys are still not an avid fan of Red Velvet yet.

Her voice is on par with Taeyeon's. Definitely the best female vocalists in SM. Of course there's Luna from F(x) too... Anyway the album is all ballads and such a good listen. She even shows her real range in a couple of those.
Wendy technically has a wider range than Taeyeon does, but Taeyeon has a depth to her voice that brings me to tears on a regular basis.
*and Wendy might surpass Taeyeon pretty soon if she developed her resonance and for Luna she's one step above the two:)) just saying.....*

Wendy has been on hiatus for more than a year to recover from her injuries last December 2019. This song was dedicated to all the people especially her fans who patiently waited for her comeback. That's why it hit different when the quote appeared "I just wanna thank you for believing in me"
We are watching and hearing a woman who held her mic all the way to the hospital, was still practicing her singing even when her mouth was wired shut, and started practicing choreography as soon as her hips healed. The drive and passion Wendy has for being an artist is unbelievable. This woman is a fighter

To think that Wendy can sing gain with after having her jaw wired after that accident... am bawling my eye out the first time listening of this song. Wendy is back.
What’s more special about this song and album is that it’s her gift for fans/luvies for patiently waiting for her to comeback. Back in December 25, 2019 (Yes Christmas Day) while rehearsing she fell and was badly injured broke her pelvis, wrist and crack cheekbones. she was hospitalized for months and needed rehabilitation so she’s been hiatus for a year. She promised to comeback stronger and healthier that’s why the lyrics “ and I just want to thank you for believing in me” was so meaningful.
