SBS didn't get sued for that incident, at first they gave a half assed apology not even apologizing to Wendy but basically saying sorry to the fans .. reveluvs were super angry and then they gave a second apology and fired the employees who were responsible. The injury was super serious she fractured her pelvis and wrist and injured her face, she couldn't even eat food for a while. It was Solar from Mamamoo who found her collapsed and called for help. Wendy kept holding the mic all the way to the hospital. It's a miracle the we are able to see her perform once again, and that whole album is nothing short of a miracle, every song in that album has the ability to heal your soul.
Yes, THANK YOU, Solar! I hope that Wendy has been able to thank Solar for the save! I am certain that Wendy would do her very best to keep thanking Solar. :)

It was a horrible time for Reveluvs,, she fell from 2 meters, broke her cheekbone, wrist and pelvis, worst thing is that the SBS staff didn't even noticed it, Solar from Mamamoo was the one that found her unconscious on the floor, she spent a month in the hospital, and many more in therapy. This is the best present for us, because just a few months ago we still didn't know if she would ever perform again.
Also she is korean but went to school in Canada.
Side note, SBS are the same ones that cheated Dreamcatcher of their first win.

Here's another thing SBS did. Groups that perform on shows like that are given allotments of tickets to give to their fans. After the accident, Red Velvet didn't perform (naturally). SBS voided tickets that were given to Reveluvs, not allowing them to see the other performances live. During the show, when the cameras swung behind whoever was performing you can see this square void in the sea of lightsticks where Reveluvs would have been sitting. It's like SBS was angry that RV chose not to perform when one of them had just been sent to the hospital, so they took it out on their fans out of spite.
I love the fact that the Red Velvet members came to SBS to watch Wendy, when she performed in SBS with solo album, they just know SBS is doing shit, so they decided to protect and take care of Wendy on their own, it makes me happy😫😫😫😫😫😩😩😩❤️💚💜💖💛💙❤️

You're right about the sentence "I just wanna thank you for believing in me." Wendy knows how long ReVeluvs waited for her during her 1 year hiatus. This is her way of thanking ReVeluvs as well as everyone else who stayed by her side and waited for her all through her road to recovery. I've read somewhere that her jaw had to be wired shut to avoid unnecessary movement so as to heal the fracture. Yet, Wendy couldn't let go of singing. Even in that situation, she kept humming, and Lyricist Lee Seuran had mentioned that Wendy coming back and singing is a miracle in itself (she had posted an IG story on the date of the album release). This song, along with the other title track "When this rain stops" are her personalized thank yous to ReVeluvs and everyone around her. When This Rain Stops is also a play on words: it pronounces the same as "Wendy's Rain Stops" signifying that she has completely healed and her rainy days are over- proven in the form of this album. :) ReVeluvs are swelling with pride and emptying our year ducts with every performance, every interview oh hers. Our Wendy Son Seungwan is finally back, and she's doing so well!💙

OH MY GOD YES! I clicked so fast when I saw the notification, this was just Phenomenal I can not stop listening to this you should definitely check out the whole Album it is just Vocals on Vocals! She did such an Amazing Job she sounds and looks like a mixture between a Siren and an Angel just Wow (and I don't know why but this kind of reminds me of Splash the Movie!) I am pretty sure that this was made for her Fans saying Thank you for believing in me and my love for you guys is like my love for Water because I couldn't of done it without you, because of her accident everyone was supporting her and just wanted her to get healthy and come back, I am pretty sure it's like that but I'm not exactly sure! Also at 5:40 this Whole scene was Spectacular, at first I thought it was water or something like that but apparently it was thread I just learned that not that long ago which is crazy, also I heard that she sang during the Music Video she did not lip sync at all and she is definitely one of my favorite Vocalists probably even my Favorite, she also is one of the best maybe even the best Vocalists in the 3rd Generation! If you guys like more mature stuff you should watch redvelvet’s velvet tracks like Bad Boy, Peekaboo and Psycho etc while the red side is more cute and refreshing like the songs Red Flavor, Ice Cream Cake, and Russian Roulette etc. They are also known for their b sides being hella bops for example the song Kingdom Comes. They released a lot of music that it’s hard to list it all but hopefully you guys will find something that your ears will enjoy haha. Wow... Wendy... I sincerly cry when I saw the MV for the first time. I really don't get emotional with kpop in general, but this song, seeing her, listening to her, knowing everything that happened... Was just too much.
Red Velvet, along with Dreamcatcher, is my FAVORITE GROUP (CLC also have a special place in my heart, but it's different). They alwalys move me in a way, and the "Psycho" era had SO MUCH POTENCIAL and Wendy was AT THE TOP OF HER VISUAL... Goddammn... Was so unfair what happen.
I think this song hits very different in those who follow and love Red Velvet, but beyond this... This song is TRULLY HEAVENLY!

Hi I'm here. I haven't been here for weeks because I was kinda bu2. But here I am 😁
One of my favorite things about Red Velvet is that each one of them could go out on their own and be successful because of their immense talent but it's their incomprehensible ability to act as one voice that makes them one of the most unique groups in music. I couldn't be happier for Wendy to be able to express herself in her own way (as well as Irene and Seulgi) and I hope Joy and Yeri take their turn if they ever want it.

I'm not usually into ballads, like, I'm very picky but I really love this song. Also, how about a Red Velvet series for the summer? They have so many bops that fit the summer and it'd be great. :)
Side note about the situation: Wendy broke her pelvis and her arm(?) after falling from the platform. There were supposed to be stairs like Özlem said but she fell from a 2 meter height and they didn't even warn her that the stairs were missing.

the injuries were: fractured right pelvis and right wrist, and cracked right cheekbone as well as other injuries and bruises. I assume the other injuries were to her nose and jaw since it was said that her jaw was wired shut so she had to drink through a straw and also her nose has changed since surgery was needed

You know, this song STILL makes me tear up because I try to imagine what she went through. She is SO strong, being able to come through that horrific incident, heal up and come back.
She's my personal hero. She had a really bad accident, worse than mine, and did what I was not able to do. Just cannot help but admire and love her!

her hip, her face and hand are broken. they had to binf her chin because she shouldnt speak for awhile.. her injuries were so bad. still holding mic so long gave her pain. she didnt borb in USA, she is korean, she went there to study in her early age. she worked so hard for this.my heart hurts I cant imagine the pain she had. she is super positive person, if her mental state wasnt that great, I dont know what will happen to her. she is amazing person.
Wendy isn't from America but she moved to her sister (or did go with her when her sister moved) to Canada when she was like 12 or something. She did go to school there for several years before later going back, I don't know anymore if they scouted her in Canada and she came back to Korea before.
And no unfortunately SM did nothing and SBS half-assed their apology.
But don't know what may have happend behind the scenes.
And she fractured bones in her face and also had some serious hip injuries she also need surgery to fix her face bc of the severe damage (some knetz criticized her for her changed looks 🤦♂️)
And yeah Wendy said that this was a song for her fans and for the people that helped her going on.
To add to Solar finding Wendy story. Both of them actually were rehearsing at the same time because they were supposed to sing a different Disney song individually but on the same stage (but I forgot what song), so Solar was around the area when Wendy fell 2 meters from the tunnel. They are also friends with each other and shared the same birthday too!

Another main title track that came out from this album too, When This Rain Stops, also for the fans and everyone. This song is about her bibliography, her feelings, the things that she wants to tell to everyone. There's a live MV for the song too. Enjoy the lyrics, it's really got you there. Huhuhu ㅠㅠ
For the start, I might suggest you to react to the unhelpful guide to red velvet (psycho era) or the latest 2020 (i dont remember the title)..
