I bought both the Watchdives (on rubber dive strap) and the Steeldives (on bracelet) Capt. Willards in the standard color and even though I only have a 6 1/2 inch wrist, the lug-to-lug makes it wear smalller. Both are excellent in terms of operation, both utilizing Seiko movements. I have to say, the Steeldive bracelet looks to be a bit better, with 6 micro adjustments And a tighter linkage tolerance, but I'm only judging from the video. That white dial does look great.

I always seem to be wearing the Phoibos Wave Master when I catch one of your videos and now I find myself not only wearing the watch you inspired me to buy, but I am also waiting on delivery of the this watch after seeing Jody's review. I grabbed it for a great price of $56.00 during the Aliexpress sale. I've been a fan of the cushion case ever since I picked up a Steel Dive Capt. Willard. Great review and I can't wait to have this one on my wrist.
Ok this is weird. I got my Addiesdive today😮. I bought the black variant that only took 10 days to get here. I got the sale price of $66 and that's a steal. The version in your video was $55 for a few days. I only had it on for 2 hours but I'm impressed so far

Got the same design from “Steeldive”, with a green rubber band, to match the dial. Tried some nato’s on it- yet it looks even more weird(because of the short lug width). I too never owned a Willard style case, so that scratched that each. It’s comfortable on the wrist, it actually surprised me. Thanks for delivering really great content 🤙🏻
Bought the bronze cased Addiesdive 2 months ago and the watchdives olive green dial Turtle. I really like them both. Not complaing 1 bit due to their prices. My bronze Addiesdive gets me more questions and compliments than any other watch i own. And i have a lot.

Everytime I wear it somebody wants to see it. I was skeptical at first with any watch from the watchdives website but now after having 2, I'm hooked. Just ordered the Steeldive SD1981 with the Tiffany dial off of Aliexpress today. $137. Out of stock everywhere else.
Love the video man, especially the spicy metal intros. I`ve made at least couple dozen Seiko mods using dials like these, in lots of colours. They're really nice for being inexpensive. Seiko OEM Glacier dials are on another level. (got a bunch of those builds coming up soon too) Cheers man! Keep it up!
Picked one of these up before Christmas for £43 delivered so around $55. Only negative is the bracelet and even that isn't horrible. Put it on a rubber strap and it's now my daily wearer. Running at +0.5s per day so excellent regulation from Addiesdive. Just don't look at it under macro...
Got the watch off Amazon and loved it. It’s a real strap monster. But I’m returning it because water leaked in. Fogged the glass then ruined the lume. I’m hoping it was a one of QC issue and the replacement will be perfect. My Invictas and Paganis have held up fine to the same pool.

You just got a subscriber. I like your style and honest opinion. I’ve personally sworn off “cheap watches” in that $100-$800 range, because when all is said and done, I’ll have a few thousand dollars worth of watches I thought were cool at the time of purchase. I’d rather just have one watch that I really like in that $3000-4500 range. That being said I like this watch your reviewing and may give it a look see.
I’ve got a Addiesdive “ Tuna” style, and I find it reliable, very well made and has better specs than Seiko ( crystal, signed crown and bracelet) with nh35. Nice watches.
Seiko Tunas are deep into the upper end of Seiko watches. We're not talking "street Tunas" here, but the 7c46 watches and Emperor Tunas--much less the spring drive Tuna. The look is one thing, but greater and lesser Tunas are true tool watches meant to be used hard. Form follows function in their case, even if the technology of the trade has largely passed them by.
I have this watch. I also have a Steeldive with purportedly the same nh35 mechanism. The cases by my measurements the cases are the same. The watches seem to differ only in three areas. 1.crown logo differs, 2. the case back logos also differ., 3. the dial lettering is different. it also has the same dial pips on both. I conclude they are actually the same watch. What say you?
If you get the doxa, get it with the rubber strap. The metal bracelet is horrible. The first link that flares out is too distracting for how much it stands out and brushing is not even the same direction as the watch case. Also, it's very heavy and the clasp is easily thicker than the watch itself. Rubber and bracelet are only $50 apart BTW if you buy them separately
Have been watching these watches and manufacturers. I love the Doxa Clive Cussler, but at these low prices, these watches are a steal. As you know, I'm an emotional purchaser, and these watches raise the heart rate. Thanks so much for the review and for sharing this with us all. I would like a broader, perhaps more contrasting, minute hand. It will need a nato or sail strap, as that bracelet is terrible but added to the list, but maybe with a different face colour. Addiesdive has my favorite "clomage" logo. Capt. Willard cases don't look right on a bracelet IMHO. I have a Seiko SBDC143. It stays on a "chocolate bar" rubber strap.

But they channel is new so I don’t have many sent in so I buy what I think is cool. And I wanted to try out a cushion case

Rede keine Unsinn was die Ganggenauigkeit eines ganz einfachen und billigen Massenautomatikwerk betrifft. Kurzfristig bei absoluten Vollaufzug läuft dieses Werk in der 'Norm". Aber schon nach wenigen Tagen muss man froh sein, wenn solche Werke +/- 50 Sekunden laufen. Da wäre ja jede gegen jedes sündteure Manufakturwerk eine Beleidigung.

I agree. Quality over quantity. Some of these brands do make it hard not to blow a couple hundred though.

I believe Steeldive has switched to a milled clasp.
Just one more watch is good one of my favorite channels.

That case is not based of a Doxa. It’s based on/copy of the seiko turtle. Doxa is case is different.
