Thank you for the nice test report! Answering on your feedback about a velcro around TST: Solo is a PPG wing for beginners/recreational pilots. It can be used to teaching paramotoring. Thus especially for students, we prepared an additional velcro system to be sure that TST won't be activated by mistake. It's just an additional connection point to keep TST handles locked when not used. If you are the owner of Solo you can simply cut the velcro :) We don't use this system in any of our other wings.
Thanks for sharing Fly Guy but im feeling pretty bad for thinking it's getting too cold to fly here in southern Michigan. You would probably be flying here in shorts and T shirt. Keep up the good work!
First thing I noticed on unpacking mine was the Velcro on the TST. A real faff trying to undo. The magnets are strong but not strong enough to overcome the Velcro. Seems daft design.
I got a 21 Solo after I trained on a 25 Charger. 111kg all up. It is easy to launch and fly, responsive and safe. I will say it is not a fast wing compared to the Spyder 3 my buddies fly. They have to trim in so I can keep up.
I was looking at this as my next wing too..what is your all up weight btw?? I'm 100kg in the buff..so could go for the 24 but maybe the 27 maybe better...could you ask your dealer to send you a 27mto see the difference..😉😂 ..you've already made my mind up but which size?? 🤔 Another informative vid but we a more long term use vid needed please 😉👍🏻
Kyle O put me on a 21 m on my second flight and I have one in the mail on the way for my first wing. He also had lots of praise for the universal, and said it was his favorite beginner Wing because there was a lot of room to grow on it. Such as the ability to tie in tip steering.
hmm, this is the first time I've seen this wing. so Dudek designed this ppg wing for ? a beginner? intermediate pilot? or an expert pilot?. I've noticed with the years that have passed by Dudek have always too long trimmers that flap about willy nilly.and can distract a pilot. why don't they fix magnetic fasteners?or a type of velcro? the wing is set at factory settings .and you and I know with you .you probably need to adjust brake lines.. length. and cost, please? the tst set up for an intermediate wing ... isn't good enough. if if i was thinking of buying this ... with my experience. i wouldnt. .. and the trimmers are still flapping around. no change there.
6.00 Terrible place to mount your reserve, as its a paramotor reserve half the lines, will be tucked into the pouch and not the nappy, you pull that and there's a chance a bunch of reserve lines will get sucked through the netting and into the prop,. or maybe its a great place and this will not happen,
Ill be dead by the time I get "a couple of hundred hours flying" to be able fly an intermediate wing. I get tired of all these guys flying the nimble wings tellin newbies they gotta wait years. You arent doin anything different I do at 4o hours bro
Thank you for the nice test report!

Thank you! It's very cool!
Sorry if you've been asked elsewhere but what gloves do you use flying in the winter in Alberta ?
How fast is this compared to other wings
My second flight was on a 21 M solo... And I have one on the way for first wing 😅
I have ordered one as well🤙
I had to turn off the A/C in my room watching this! I was so freaking cold!
I've been going around asking.
Debating between this or the Roadster 3 as my first wing out of training.
What do you think?

Thanks Mark. My all up weight is around 138kg so I'd say your pretty close to me...likely the 24m would be the size for you.
Is this too much wing to learn on? Was planning on the Universal but don't want to outgrow it too quickly...

Obviously I am no expert, as I am brand new, but he said it was a good fit for me. It was fun to fly for sure.
How does it compare with the Paramania. GTX 24?
Sorry can't say, I have not yet flown the Paramania.....maybe someone else who has flown both can comment?
Hahaha. That’s exactly how they do it..by fronting you a new kinda wonderful wing you just gotta have
Good in this could atmaspher you fly your faramotor

He pretty much told you who the wing would be suited for.
